Good club. Smallish locker room. Despite mostly being underground, its well lit and has good air circulation.

The gym is just ok. I expected way more for the price. The gym is small and crowded. I was a member at other club but had to transfer my membership because I moved neighborhoods. Definitely disappointed and will not renew my membership.

After 4 years of membership these leaders have failed me utterly. That is to say, that after 4 weeks of emails with member services in an attempt to cancel my membership and doing everything they asked. I received a very nasty email from the general manager Steve canceling my membership and claiming Ill receive a refund, well see!?!And they cancelled it on a day that was different than I had previously been told! They just keep getting it wrong and thats true across the brand, whatever club you go to... #failThis place has gone to the dumps and this brand has lost all of its appeal for me.For the price, which is high, one should get something more than a quick interlude in the shower or your wallet stolen from your locker. 😲Skip this place, save your money, theres better.

Equipment is really good and clean, its a real pleasure to come working at there. There is a first free session with a personal coach which is useful if you have any question. The price of the membership is too expensive though for what you get though right now as there are no more group class.I would estimate the price at around $100/month vs the $190/month as long as group class arent available.(Note : good thing they are offering 1month + if you get referred you get $100 gift card 😁)

You get what you pay for... The nicest club in the area. Great Equipment and clan. The other clubs in the area like NYSC and Crunch are a dump. All the trainers are nice except for the weird Asian ones and the black one.

Small gym but got 3 squat racks and 2 bench presses so overall decent. Don’t have a foam roller with spikes which is indeed a shortcoming. Gym is on 2 levels. Not too busy evenings after 8 pm.

Visited for a cycle for survival event held at this space which went well. The locker and shower facilities are very modern and exceptionally clean. The gym space is nice but a little small and very open so youll be in front of everyone. The staff was nice but very amped up. The event itself was well organized.

This equinox club is right in the heart of midtown. It isnt quite as spacious as the other clubs around Manhattan, which makes sense given the location. It gets the job done, but you can clearly see the difference in quality. If you are paying for the equinox membership I would suggest walking a little further and making it to the Rockefeller center club. You will have an all around better experience.

May as well be a chain of high-class, expensive bathhouses. My friend and I both had memberships for two weeks, in which time he was touched sexually by other men in the locker room. The second time they expelled him when someone groped him in the locker room. Management didn’t bother to investigate fully, and when I approached them with my complaint about the matter they didn’t even address my concern and put me through the most frustrating cancellation process ever. And I’m still paying the dues for this place for 45 days. Just don’t do it.

One of the small Equinox gyms in the city. I believe this location used to be a New York Sports Club.I went around 7:30PM and the crowd was disappearing from the after work rush. Was able to get a good workout in.Probably would not recommend during busy times.

My friend invited me to work out with him while I was here on vacation last week. It was definitely a mistake. How can you justify charging members an adsorbent monthly membership fee for such a small gym? Theres water leaking from the ceiling which hampers the use of the abduction machine. Do you really think anyone wants water dripping on their forehead? One of the trainer, a Korean male with tattoos wearing a cap, was very rude and unprofessional. No. I dont want your outside nasty services! Stop following my friend and I around the small tight basement floor. Stop chatting up with the male receptionist to get my personal information. I am a former athlete and trainer. That is ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! This gym doesnt respect the privacy of their patrons! Another trainer is slouching on the chair with his leg and feet on the coffee table next to the staircase. He was most likely asleep with a book almost falling off his chest. Would I join once I relocate for work? No!

One of the most crowded equinox ive been to especially for its size (i have all access). Low ceilings and machines cramped together make it feel even smaller. Also the only equinox where there is urine on toilet seats which says a lot about the patrons that go to this branch

Ok, so as a disclaimer, Im posting these reviews for my reference. I have an All Access Membership, and I want to visit as many of these as I can, to see which one I like most/would like to go to.My interests are powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, swimming, so my reviews will be geared towards that. For comparisons sake, I have been to the following so far:Equinox West 92ndEquinox West 76thEquinox HighlineEquinox East 63rdEquinox Columbus CircleEquinox Park AvenueEquinox FlatironEquinox GramercyEquinox TribecaFairly small, the entrance is impressive, has a lot of space, but I feel like they could have used it better. There is one floor for lifting, it is narrow but long. Fairly well spread out. It was okay.Out of 10:Size: 5Luxury: 5Equipment: 7

I hold the membership at Equinox West 50th street for 5 months. It provides fair service. But this site is slightly over crowded during the first few days of every week. And some popular classes are not easy to book.

I have been a member since 2017. On 2/26/2019, because of work reason, I needed and requested to freeze my account for a month from 2/27/2019 at Columbus Circle club. Front desk told me a manager would reach out to me shortly. In fact, no body has contact me at all for the follow up. My membership charge is usually paid by my husband’s credit card. He also had reached out to EQX few times for me regarding my request. Same answer: a manager will reach out to me shortly.Nobody!!!!!!! NO ONE emailed or called me at all the whole time.I am now back home in NYC. My husband just told me his card was changed as regular again.I definitely notice how well EQX cares about their customers. I feel so disappointed because the customer service at EQX is unbelievable disorganized and bad. I am now receiving a silence treatment from EQX because all what Equinox wants is money.

Worst customer service, horrible gym equipment, showers run out of hot water regularly, poor management. Most likely the worst Equinox in NYC, if this is the only equinox you would work out at, get a membership to another sports club in the area that is a much better facility and cheaper.

Equinox @ 50th Street is extremely loud. It is so loud that when youre listening to your iPod, you cant hear your own music. To add insult to injury, the management says that they arent allowed to adjust the volume levels at the club. I have even brought this to the attention of the Head Manager for 50th St and she says that corporate has set the volume level. The gym environment should feel like a gym, but when you cant hear your own iPod, there is a problem!
