Dr. Fein was gracious and was nice to see him again. Irma helped me with my purchase of 2 pairs of glasses. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I saw where LensCrafters remodeled as well as new associates. However, Dr. Fein and Sara were still there. I asked about Carl and found out he was still there which I was glad to hear. He stopped by while I was still there. It was great to see all of them! My experience at LensCrafters was great!

Dr. Fein is really nice and makes you feel comfortable. The practice is clean and recently renovated. The eye exam is thorough and seemed to me, a layperson, to be state-of-the-art. This is my second year going to this practice. I will go again next year.

I copied the comment from other person Dr. Mendelssohn did not seem very thorough. and I agree with him. I got a prescription from her and I failed the eye exam during driving test with the glasses made with her prescription. So I went there again (I payed $170 for the second eye exam) ang got the new (?) prescription. When I ordered the second pair of glasses, eyeglass shop person told me The prescription is same and do not get a new glasses. So I call Starbase Optometry and made a new appointment.Dr. Mendelsshon said that all were done by machine and she was correct. The fact is that I failed the eye exam for driver license and she insisted that she was correct. I cannot give her more than one star.

Very nice and very quick service

Dr. Fine and staff (Asian woman at desk-sorry, dont know her name) was very patient with me as I was having the hardest time getting contacts into my eyes. While I was frustrated and wanted to give up, they kept a calm and encouraging demeanor. Dr. Fine was very helpful because he spent time with me discussing different options and seemed genuinely concerned about the best options for me. His staff came in to the room to coach me while trying to get the contacts in and she also took my discouraged attitude in stride. She kept telling me different ways she placed her own contacts in. As a healthcare worker myself, I feel they went above and beyond what was expected of them when dealing with a difficult patient. I was that difficult patient.Thank you Dr. Fine and kind Asian woman! Even though I live in Dallas, Ill keep you as my Optometrist.

Always a great experience. I have been going here for my annual eye exams for the last 5 years. Today, I showed up early for my appointment and they were able to fit me in. Dr Fein was very efficient but thorough with my exam.

Great service. Friendly staff. Quick and efficient. I mainly visit on Saturdays because its a convenient time. Dr. Mendelssohn works here on Saturdays.Prices are not bad even without insurance.Starbase is inside LensCrafters, in case you want to get new glasses after your exam.

Dr. Meldenson did not seem very thorough. She barely spent 10 minutes doing my refraction. Prescription she gave for the contact lens was not accurate. She revised her prescription and gave me another set of contact lenses but did not check the vision with contacts after revision. I cant see clearly with the contacts at a distance.

The doctor was terrific. She answered all of my questions and was very thorough.

Dr. Sean Fein is an excellent optometrist and has provided such a pleasant experience with purchasing glasses and recently with contacts. He truly puts in that extra care to ensure youre leaving out with the best eye care and eyewear needed. He even was nice enough to check on the frames I picked to ensure they fit well. You dont experience that much anymore, so to have that with Dr. Fein, it felt like I was getting the best care and service!

I inquired in advance regarding acceptance of my medical insurance towards an eye exam. The representative I spoke with confirmed they accepted my insurance and believed I would have a $40 copay. However, my insurance indicated one eye exam is covered annually without copay. Following the exam, they indicated they would require a copay regardless of the insurance and would not release my medical records without the co-pay. Stay away from this unethical practice.

Quick appointments; zero wait time

I came to this place after I contacted with my insurance (they are in-network), and when I checked in, I was told that my out of pocket payment was $20 co-pay, and $55 eye exam (total $75) with insurance. I was not explained anything further and I asked their confirmation several times that I would not need to pay anything more. The check-up was quick, like 15-20 minutes, then I was told that I needed to pay $131 out of pocket because one of eyes had astigmatism (which I had no idea) and needed to make a PREMIUM check-up. I questioned the price hike and told that I should have been informed such possibility at the time of check-in (If I knew, I would not stayed at their place). Dr. Fein, who was nice when I was checked, became so rude and nasty. (I was very sad) But I kept complained and finally they voided $111 (they still kept co-pay for eye exam, which is fine). I was just unlucky but I did not get any impression people working there were very nice nor the place was clean as I see in other reviews. If there would be any price hike after the eye-exam, patients must be explained clearly at the time of check-in. So no dispute after the exam.

My 3rd or 4th year here and staff is consistently efficient and personable. All the doctors are super nice and really care. Dr. Fein, who I see regularly is a great guy with an awesome personality. Aside from being very good medically - He is well versed in all the latest products and really takes his time to make sure you are comfortable in your choices for your eyewear. Recommend both him and his colleagues!

Best staff and Drs in the city!

This place was the worst. They hurried me in and out and did not care. They suggested a procedure I clearly did not need as I am in my 20s. Now a year later, I tried to order more contacts and they refused to allow it without another appointment so they can make more money. I literally had my appointment 1 year and 5 days ago and they refused to fill my order...Most places are 2 years.
