I have Keratoconus. I had corneal transplants in both eyes. The surgery was done by Dr. John Seedor. Ive been a patient of his for almost 7 years. And now hes leaving to go to another eye and ear hospital. Im writing this because the Eye and Ear Infirmary is losing a great doctor. He cares about his patients and their concerns. The office will never be the same without him.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Seedor’s for almost 14 yrs. He was the only doctor to accurately diagnose me. He is in my opinion the best eye doctor there is! He’s recently left NY eye and ear. I was given a new contact number, and told him and doctor Ritterban have moved to Lenox Hill. I’ve left several messages, and haven’t had a reply for two weeks. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of leaving messages, and never getting an actual person to speak to. I had a K-Pro put in about 5 yrs ago, and need a lense change desperately. I’m going to be as patient as I can, only because I don’t trust any other doctor. Please contact me, thank you. Holly Rosenfeld

My case was described as high risk due to 3 prior closely timed eye surgeries for a torn then detached retina. It was feared that the retina and/or the ligaments supporting the lens were stressed. I was advised to seek a Center of Excellence. I was recommended by my Opthamologist in CT to see Dr. Seedor because of his familiarity of doing thousands of cataract surgeries particularly involving astigmatism complications. Why not take care if distance vision, the cataract and astigmatism all at ince. Dr. Seedor was an excellent surgeon, self effecting and very personable and of course good.It was the right choice. Very pleased with the procedure and results.

SAW DR. SEEDOR FOR A FAMILY MEMBERS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED KERATOCONOUS AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH HE AND HIS STAFF. UNLIKE THE FIRST DOCTOR WE WERE REFERRED TO IN EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ, DR. SEEDOR DID NOT TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US FINANCIALLY BY ORDERING UNNECESSARY TREATMENTS. DR. SEEDOR WAS THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COMMUNICATIVE, AND VERY COMPETENT. WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FROM HE OR HIS STAFF.

OMG! Dr. Seedor preformed LASIK on my eyes a few years ago and I wanted to come in for a follow up. I have tried to no avail to get someone from his office to call me back! It has been a month and I have left ½ a dozen voicemails for (Ebony Feale) and sent several emails with not one reply! This is an office that does not care about the wellbeing of their patient. I am beyond discussed! I can’t believe I have recommended this guy….What a joke!
