Dr. Kakossian and her husband are both my faves. Everytime I visit I feel very comfortable here. Dr. Khoury is my main doctor but today I had Dr. Kakossian and no difference. I’m always asked if I want kids and the answer is “Yes” both of them take their time to explain to me what issues I may face with some complications I have with my body, but they are the best. I’m sorry that some people don’t feel the same about them, but I have yet to have a bad experience (except) when mixing up the wrong facilities — just make sure to call to check which one. Other than that, I have no complaints and I love that they make me feel safe, and comfortable. I’ve been coming to them for a year already and have yet to experience anything bad. Booked an appointment but still waited an hour in the lobby. During that time, I saw 3 other returning patients cancel their appointments on the spot after learning how much they would be charged for their sonograms (apparently they significantly raised their rates without warning or explanation). I went for an annual check up and to have an external concern looked at, but asked to skip the pap smear. Today, I get a call that my pap results came back.. what?? When I questioned the staff member, she tried to rush me off the phone without explanation. I’m very confused and turned off by my experience here and will not be going back.

I have been trying to get my test results for a month now. It took them 3 weeks to send out my birth control prescription after I called them repeatedly to send it out and promises of it being sent out then and there. They called me to call them for my test results and when I called back they said they said the tests results weren’t ready. I have never had to call a doctors office so often to hold THEIR staff accountable. Every single time I called they couldn’t find me in their system and said I was not a patient. Every time they found me in their system after I told them they must be misspelling my name and repeatedly stating my appointment date. Staff is untrained or simply doesn’t care. They are also very rude. I paid $300 out of pocket with insurance because I thought a place in the city would be better than my local gyno. Don’t be fooled by the gold moldings and marble floors. This place is incompetent and a Mickey Mouse outfit of a gyno. I wouldn’t feel comfortable placing my pregnancy under the care of an incompetent staff no matter how great the doctor is. The staff is a reflection of the doctor!!!

Dr Kakossian is great. Make sure you triple- verify which office address your appointment is scheduled.

I was nervous going in, because this was very new to me. I chose this clinic because the second I saw her face, I knew I’d be comfortable. I was right ! She was very communicative, explained the step by step process of my appointment.. and she even thought me more about my body. I loved her !

She’s the best doctor I’ve ever met! Very attentive, polite and knowledgeable! Seriously, I was switching from one doctor to an other. But now I found my doctor.

Dr. Kakossian is an amazing doctor! I was having a particularly stressful and emotional day when I went to see her, and she assuaged all of my concerns. She is extremely thorough in her patient care too. I had basically no wait time too which is always a huge plus in my opinion.

Dr. Kakossian is wonderful, caring, and efficient. My visits are painless and the interactions with her and with her assistants (who are both very warm and caring) are always lovely.

The receptionist was very nice and everything went smoothly to go see the doctor. Dr. khoury himself was a very kind doctor that made the checkup very smooth and quick and would answer any questions you have. It was a bit slow with the renew of my prescription that I needed but it worked out.

Truthfully one of the worst patient care experiences of my entire life. It took over ten days for the doctor to get back to me about a CLASSIC UTI, after making it very clear how uncomfortable and in pain I was. Not only did it take ten days to hear anything back, the eventual message I received came from the receptionist not even the doctor herself! On top of all that, the doctor prescribed me a medication that I am deathly allergic to (which I made clear multiple times). I had to go visit an urgent care while the doctor took her sweet time to get back to me. Don’t even waste your time seeing her, you won’t get treated and when she finally gets around to it you’ll be treated INCORRECTLY. I’d give her zero stars if I could.

Staff from the receptionist to the Doctor to all support staff has been helpful and kind each time I have visited. They are very good about explaining results, although you may have to call the office to follow up on tests that are run. The wait time is not too bad, not more than 30 minutes past when your appointment is scheduled

I’m so happy that I found Dr. Kakossian‘s office. She’s an amazing specialist. Very professional, kind, gentle and detail oriented. That was a very good experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I’m so glad that I have her as my gynecologist.

Requested results from my sonogram for a secong opinion and printer was broken. ..for over a week. v disappointed by the lack of accountability when trying to retrieve my records.

I like the convenience of taking my blood test there so I don’t have to schedule a separate appointment going to another place for blood work, and the professional lady who works at the downtown office location is very experienced taking my blood test.

I had a fantastic experience with Nurse Midwife Maricela Garcia on 2 appointments so far. Great bedside manner and I didnt feel rushed. I thought she was a physician at first and kept calling her doctor a few times, even though she introduced herself as a Midwife. During the ultrasound she performed, she explained to me what was on the screen and pointed out important structures and an area of concern to the issue I was having. She answered all my questions, and my prescriptions were at my pharmacy in under an hour. My wait time time was minimal and the office was clean. I appreciate that they have been open during the pandemic closures. I will definitely be returning for my follow up and would highly recommend you ask for appointment with Ms. Garcia, she deserves more than 5 stars!

The office is also very nice and cozy but overall my experience with Dr. Kakossian and everyone at the office is positive and I am so glad this was my pick.

Great bed side manner.

I have been a patient at the Broadway office since the beginning of my pregnancy and I must say that I have NEVER had a bad experience with any of the staff here. I am having probably the worst pregnancy anyone can imagine with every complication you can think of but when I need something from anyone there it gets done immediately. I am having a scheduled c section this coming Friday and I visit the office every week and have been for the past 3 months or so and I always have a pleasant experience in the office. Katherine and Bianca treat me with respect and sincerity every time I am there. I have bad veins on top of it and Bianca has never caused me pain. She always manages to make me feel at ease and relaxes me enough that she gets blood on the first pull every time. I have called on numerous occasions and Katherine, the receptionist always makes sure that I have an answer in a timely manner and that any questions that she can answer she does. Dr. Gelman is AMAZING. She is ALWAYS available and I mean always. I call after hours she calls right back. I am admitted to the hospital she is on top of everything the hospital staff is doing. This pregnancy has been the most draining and difficult experience and she manages to make me feel at ease with the plan that we have set up and the decisions that need to be made. Any questions I have she answered honestly and with compassion which is all you can really ask for when dealing with a high risk pregnancy. The women that work here are all excellent at what they do and they have been absolutely wonderful to me.

I always have a positive experience at K&K. The receptionists and assistants are friendly and accommodating, and Dr. Israelova is great!!! She never fails to make me feel comfortable and calm, and is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in her work. Love her!!!

This office is amazing, my sister is pregnant and from the very beginning the staff has been so kind and patient. Bianca and Dr. Glenman have been completely wonderful. They welcomed us in from the start, answered all our questions with no problem and made my sister and i feel perfectly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first experience with and OB/GYN and I am so lucky to have found them. The doctors and staff of this clinic are incredible. They are kind, efficient and willing to listen. What I loved most was there was never a wait once I arrived for my appointment time. I also felt like they were always able to solve my problems easily and in a hassle free way. I reccomend them 100000% to anyone.

Dr. Irene Kakossian is amazing. She is genuinely concerned with her patients overall well being.Dr. Kakossian has been my doctor for almost 13 years. She is most caring and most competent. She gives you so much time and listens, and just an overall wonderful person. I love the office and the staff are great.

If i could give them no stars i would. The receptionist had no personality. I was charged for a routine visit and they refused to refund me and they lied to my insurance company. Go somewhere else.

Everyone I encountered was very pleasant and they had Saturday hours. So convenient!

The office was great, and very detailed in giving me a check up ! They even had ultrasound machine. But I had work extra hard to get my medication on the time and besides that the medication that was sent to my pharmacy was the wrong medication! Getting my medication is the most important to fixing me issue. I STILL do not have anything to help me with the problem I went to the doctor to address. I had to wait at my pharmacy an HOUR and A HALF for the WRONG medication to sent there ! I am really disappointed in the aftercare because I really enjoyed the doctors, and staff! I was also told that the medication would be there immediately. Also I had called the office at 4:30pm, and the phone said the office was closed when on google the hour stated it closed at 6pm. I had to call zoc doc, emergency line, and other K & K office to get wrong medication sent to me! I book this appointment because I thought it would be efficent doctor’s visit for my day off of work. I feel like I still need to visit the doctor again because the issue I came for NEVER got solved. Just very disappointed! I just really want my medication! That’s really why I came !

Everyone at the Midtown office I go to are all super nice and professional. Dr. Gelman is very informative and really helpful and I appreciate her patience when I have questions to ask her.

Dr. Gelman was the best. She listened, was very informative, patient and answered all of my questions. Didnt rush me and was extremely thorough.

The doctor takes the time to explain every part of the process, from what treatment plan to where we will deliver . The wait times are short.

From the beginning, I had a great experience at the 111 broadway office. The girls at the office were always very patient and helpful with me in making my appointments. Bianca the nurse assistant, was always supper sweet and caring with taking my blood pressure and drawing up my blood. I’ve went to that office over 5 times and never did she hurt me or left any marks on me drawing up my blood. In addition, Dr. Glenman is beyonddd great!! Her patient care was stupendous! She had always made me feel so comfortable and at ease with her. She was always very thorough and attentive with me in every visit. Even when i had to run to her other office, she was always very open to see me. I recommend them 100%. In addition throughout that whole experience, I was a pregnant woman in my first and second trimester where pretty much everything annoyed me but they were very gracious with me and helpful in making me feel as comfortable as possible.

Utterly unprofessional staff. I DO NOT recommend this place and I suggest you double check with your insurance if theyre actually in network or not before you go for your appointment. I booked through Zocdoc but then K&K OBGYN CALLED & RESCHEDULED me to a different location/professional who turned out to be OUT OF NETWORK according to my insurance, because I called to verify after reading reviews of patients labeling this practice as a scam or claimed of network charges being billed. On top of that, the front desk and the nurse assistant were too busy talking manicures and bday plans to notify me of the $5 fee added to the copay for paying with a debit card, which I found out about when I looked at the receipt one of them gave me. When I said I wish I would have been notified of the fee, they finally made eye contact with me while one said “I did, and the other said the same”. But they were so caught up in their personal conversation I know for sure I was not given this Information in due time. So yes, they both were super condescending FROM THE START. Bianca, the nurse assistant/receptionist? drew my blood at a weird angle causing me pain and didn’t put gauze properly afterwards so I was bleeding out. I’ve never seen anyone draw blood that way and when I called her out on the pain she replied no one has ever complained in the past while she aggressively put a band-aid on me. I was so taken back by her rude attitude that I told her I would post this online and she said fine. So here it is in honor to her lack of professionalism and utter carelessness. In regards to the actual professional who took me in for the exam, I have no complains...too bad I had to deal with such unpleasant, unprofessional and careless waitstaff before speaking to my actual doctor, who by the way had to take care of cleaning up the blood mess the assistant made.
