While she is nice, I would absolutely not recommend her to others for any SERIOUS medical issue. TL;DR She is extremely busy and does not take the time to follow up nor show that she cares for her patients, and she could have saved me 2 trips to the ER had she assessed my situation sooner and correctly. More details:1. Unresponsive - shes the only doctor in the office, so she is very busy and doesnt take the time to explain whats going on and return phone calls. She called me in the morning with my blood test results, and I asked the receptionist to have her call me again ASAP. I didnt receive a call back that day, and had to follow up the next morning only to hear that she was still busy with patients.2. Lack of follow up care/concern - recommended that I go to the ER the same day of my 3rd appointment with her. I didnt receive a follow-up call that day from her. Unfortunately, I had to return to the ER again the next day and had emergency surgery. The doctor who performed the procedure said he would notify her ASAP, and I never heard a word from her.3. Small and outdated office - tiny waiting area and outdated technology (such as the sonogram machine)4. Unorganized - asked me to come in for an ultrasound in a follow-up appointment, only to get there and hear that my insurance doesnt cover in-office sonograms at her office. Could have saved myself the visit (and copay!) if she sent me to a radiologist and lab the first time I saw her.All in all, she is nice but I had an extremely traumatic experience and my interactions and visits with her did not relieve any of the stress.

Highly do not recommend, I was 5 minutes late to my appointment and they made me wait almost an hour to see the doctor also the receptionist is a nightmare and was cursing at me. Do not recommend is not a peaceful place to seek medical attention at all.not to mention the dirty waiting area.

The office is so dirty. I have never seen an office this dirty and especially not a doctors office. I have been trying for a week to get my prescription refilled. They never answer the phone and they dont answer emails. Completely dysfunctional. I hate to say that I think she should lose her license but that is what I think.

Love this GYN. Very quick and straight to the point. Very experienced GYN.

DO NOT GO HEREShe does listen and asks you constant irrelevant questions. In the end she gave up after making me cry. She does not listen to patients and forces procedures they didn’t ask for. The office is disgusting and dirty too.

I have been going to Dr. Faroqui for close to 20 years now. She is kind, patient and skilled at what she does. She takes the time to listen to what I have to say and I never feel rushed. I trust her and I am lucky to have found her.

Let me start this off by saying Dr Faroqui is not my regular doctor. Due to a last minute scheduling change, I had to find a new doctor who took my insurance to do my yearly exam and write me my birth control script for the year. Enter Dr Faroqui, a woman I have never met before in my life. An absolute stranger.I was there for a Pap smear. She spent the entire half hour appointment fat shaming me and then at the last second just peppered in a Pap smear and a Super painful breast exam. She was not gentle. Super rude. The whole time making comments about my size. She even brought out a little spinny BMI wheel chart just to show me EXACTLY how DRASTICALLY overweight I am, like I didn’t already know? Lady, I’m 27. Do you really think you’re the first doctor to talk to me about my weight? I came to you for a Pap smear and that is ALL. My weight is between me and my GP, who you are NOT. You are a literal stranger who was there to write me a last minute birth control prescription, and check me for STDs. That’s all. My weight is my business. You could have brought it up once and left it at that, but it was INCESSANT, even after I was very clearly not receptive to your unsolicited advice. All of this while I was mostly naked, completely vulnerable, in a gown that didn’t fit, with my feet up in stirrups.Plus size ladies, avoid dr Faroqui at all costs unless you want to leave the appointment with zero self esteem and on the verge of tears. I will NOT be going back.

Unprofessional, horrible practice. Looked like it was built in the Middle Ages. Been trying to get Pap smear results which they said would be ready in two weeks since January and now we’re heading into September and I keep calling and left messages and still have not gotten my results :). Will never go back there again

I have been going to Dr. Faroqui for about 15 years now and I highly recommend her as a GYN. She is mild-mannered, professional, thorough and extremely knowledgeable in the field. The office space is small , but clean. The receptionist are quite pleasant and polite as well. I have never had a problem with scheduling. She is usually able to see me rather quickly and the wait time when you arrive is between on time and up to a half hour wait time. I have the greatest confidence in Dr. Faroqui. I recommend.

Dr. Faroqui is very kind and helpful. However, her staff is not. The woman working on Saturdays is very rude and unprofessional. I asked to schedule an appointment with the receptionist and she told me to call on business days when I wanted to do it in person. She needs to hire new staff.

Dr. Faroqui was extremely professional and kind. The women behind the desk were also helpful and friendly. The waiting and examining rooms are quite small, but the office is well-located in midtown Manhattan. I did wait for about 25 minutes or so, before I saw the doctor, but I didnt find that too problematic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Faroquis for over 30 years. She has always been very kind, considerate, helpful, and she is always very professional. She is very knowledgeable and has expertise in many areas of gynecological care. She listens to me and has kept me well. I have great regard for Dr. Faroqui and recommend her highly.

I have been seeing dr raufa farooqi since 2014 till 2019 and it was really blessing when you have a friendly doctor who listens and understands your problem. she is great love her 😻

I chose this Dr. because it was close to my office and personally she is kind and accommodating but not quite sure about her expertise. The organization at her office is quite bad, as everytime I need to make an appointment it takes forever. I just called today to make an appointment and the nurse or whoever she is who picked up the phone was EXTREMELY unprofessional and couldnt even take down my name and phone number without laughing?! What the heck? I just said forget it and called her out for being unprofessional. Wow! Get another job if you cant serve patients at a drs office girl.
