When it was named Church of the Divine Paternity, the body of Yankee great Lou Gehrig was put on view; he was dressed in a dark, pinstriped suit.
This historic edifice is a visual feast. It helps to make CPW the visitor magnet it is. Little God stuff seems to take place. It adjoins The NY Historic Society museum that you miss at your own peril. A truly wonderful small museum that is a must visit. Great for kids. 6 stars.
I went to Fourth Universalist as a visitor. The congregation was very welcoming. The church is in a beautiful location along Central Park West, and the inside is impressive. I witnessed a ceremony to induct 17 new members, so it is clearly thriving. It was a pleasure to attend and I will happily go back when Im nearby.
Great location at the corner of 76 St & Central Park West, gorgeous church, the service is awesome, great sermon, amazing inspirational music band & singers, nice choir. People are very friendly w/everybody, every nation, language, race, sexual orientation, social condition. This is a wonderful place to be.
A warm and welcoming community! A wonderful senior minister and staff! So happy I found this church home.
Always leave feeling re-centered, recharged and inspired.
