It is great and reliable place to hire medical professionals for your loved ones. Initially, I hired the different company that was only recommended place by the hospital. I had horrible experience with the recommended place where I had dealt with unprofessional administrative staffs and multiple dropping balls.It is not even comparable between these two. SelectCare outstands in their professional staffs and well trained medical professionals. I wish I wont need any medical private service for the rest of my life, but If I have to, then SelectCare will be my choice.

We are so pleased with the care my parents have received from SelectCare. I live in the opposite part of the state and have no other family in NYC to look in on them. My father refuses to leave his own home, so home care was the only way to go. They were recommended by my NYC church, who I knew had done a complete vetting of the service. My mother is, shall we say, difficult. She gave a lot of pushback to the process, but they were patient and kind, and completely understood her feelings. They are thorough and caring and I have total confidence that my parents needs are being met.

My mother has received wonderful care. Her aide, Cynthia, is attuned to my mothers ways and my mother looks forward to her company. The nurse who visits monthly is equally knowledgeable and friendly. The owner, Carla, visited us initially and helped us with our insurance claim. Also, when I call in the days and hours for the week that we need assistance (we have the flexibility to change them weekly), the staff knows who I am right away and adjusts the schedule. If there is a problem or concern, they have dealt with it promptly and satisfactorily. I have heard pretty negative reports about some other agencies (from people who work there and people who receive help) but SelectCare is a standout.

SelectCare has been helping to take care of my husband for an entire year, sometimes for 24 hours a day. He has been in constant danger of falling and has needed kind and careful help. This has been consistently provided by SelectCare. Not once did the agency fail to cover all these hours, even when someone occasionally had to cancel at the last minute. Always there was a SelectCare aide there, ready to help at the appointed time. It was always easy to communicate with the office. The nursing help and advice was very useful and the nurse assigned to our case was the same one throughout the year. She visited every so often and was very knowledgeable and kind. I keep using the word kind because I think in this situation one needs not only competence but also kindness. This is consistently provided by SelectCare, both by management and by on-the-job aides. I recommend this agency very highly.

We have had a one-year relationship with SelectCare for my now 94 year old mother-in-law that has been excellent in every respect. A highly independent, meticulous, bright, career woman with very high standards for herself and others, she has seen her universe shrink bit by bit over the past year. From refusing help of any kind, she now relies on full-time care and supervision. This has been extremely difficult for her to accept and heartbreaking for us to observe. Having previously engaged an agency for my own parents that often fell short of expectations, I did not anticipate the positive experience we have had with SelectCare. The agency is comprised of a truly professional, experienced, insightful, and caring staff from the director to the wonderful nurses, clerical staff, and caregivers. SelectCare helped us find a visiting medical practice that we have also been very happy with and, importantly, understands how to negotiate the long-term care insurance process. When it was time to recommend other interventions (including hospice), the nursing director was forthright and compassionate. All communication was handled in a timely fashion, and we never had to worry about coverage when a regular caregiver needed a day off. In sum, SelectCare is a boutique agency that met all our needs and desires, and we are able to recommend it enthusiastically and without hesitation.

My 89-year old mom landed in the hospital with an ankle fracture. She ended up in rehab after that, but had to return to the hospital due to complications. Upon return, she was diagnosed with Covid-19. As she was not presenting with any symptoms, the hospital deemed her well enough to return home, especially since they needed the bed for other Covid patients. As we needed 24-hour care, we reached out to many home health care providers, most who did not respond. SelectCare literally came to our aid, providing exactly the care and support we needed. I cant say enough about this group of aides and nurses. They are personal, caring, wonderful human beings. They were in constant communication with us about everything that was needed for my mom. They were proactive ensuring she was well taken care of. This was hugely important for us given we live in Massachusetts and with the Covid condition, could not be with my mom. Even in her passing, they stayed connected with us, helping to take care of final needs. If you are looking for elder care, look no further. These people are amazing!

SelectCare has been providing fantastic home care to my 95 year old mother. They aides are both great, and the agency has been very helpful dealing with any problems that come up. I especially like the fact that they keep me updated by email and are willing brainstorm about solutions. Select Care has done a wonderful job of providing assistance and care for my 96 year old father suffering from Alzheimers Disease. They have a team approach and are very hands on in providing home health aides, nursing to help with medications and medical appointments, and trouble shooting. They are proactive and very responsive when problems arise. I live across the country and am comforted by the thought that my fathers care is in good hands.

Unfortunately SelectCare was unable to provide the services I was requesting (geographical reasons), but I can attest to their staff. I spoke with Carla Holub and asked for help to care with my mother. Like I said earlier her company was unable to assist me and that could have been the end of our conversation but Carla went above and beyond my expectations. She forwarded my info to another company whom she vouched for (whom were excellent) and advised me not only of this but of two other companies just in case. Finally she followed up with me and made sure my needs were met. If this is how the staff at SelectCare treats people who are not their clients I sincerely believe their clients are excellent care.
