I was fortunate enough to be referred here for my gastroenterology surgery and the process was without any issues. The consultation was scheduled 2 months away from my initial phone call inquire, but after that, every appointment was scheduled efficiently. After the consultation, I felt calm and informed of my options and outcomes. The staff and provider were extremely professional and caring towards my concerns and autonomy.Looking forward to surgery day now!

Best hospital ever, I got taken care of by Dr. Mayur Narayan, M.D. he was amazing, very professional, and after I left I felt a lot better. Mayra Delgado was also amazing in scheduling me for an emergency visit, I was in so much pain and she saved me ! So thank you so much for that you guys are amazing!!! :)

Ive had a few dealings with this hospital. The doctors may be good, but their CS is chaotic. 1-Their tech abilities are zero. Had an online appointment scheduled 3 times and it was never added to my account on the e-Connect app; 2- Italmost impossible to get hold of someone on the phone 2-Staff is untrained for CS and can be borderline rude on top of inefficient.

I want to thank Dr. Havrylyuk, Yelena and Dr. Shin who operated on me this past Wednesday at 7 am. I feel better just 2 days later. There is no words that can express how much I appreciate saving me. I feel blessed I was brought to NY Presbetyrian WC and not anywhere else. Also I want to thank the PGY-3 resident Nora Badiner, M.D. who took care of me from the beginning: took the initial ultrasound, spoke about tests, diagnosed me, gave me the news, took the phone number of my husband, said the surgery was going to be 1,5-2 hours, and that she would call him, took me upstairs to OR... And then... NEVER CALLED MY FAMILY. My family and my husband did not know if I was alive until I called 7 hours later when I got my phone back. I realize what it takes to get to UCLA med school and then get matched to Weill Cornell in NY for residency. She must be a genius! So I am lucky she was the one who took care of me. I am so thankful to Nora Badiner for every little thing she has done that night, but especially for teaching me what never should I do when I become a doctor as I am applying to med schools now. She showed me and my family how precious one phone call can be, and what hell the doctor can take everyone through by not making it. I get it! The focus was probably on clinical aspects of treatment, my surgery was at 7 am and was finished right when the shifts were switching... But just do not take the phone number and do not say you ll call! But if you promised, do it! That is what sets apart a good clinician from a great DOCTOR who practices with unwavering humanity in mind! This was absolutely inhumane! I am giving 5 stars because I am alive and thats all that matters plus I learned a lesson.

Not quite sure why they go out of their way to make visiting a relative a complete nightmare during what is already a trying time. The security guards seem to delight in being unnecessarily rude and cruel

I came here with an emergency laceration on my face. I waited about five hours for a plastic surgeon to get stitches. The plastic surgeon never came. Since the abrasion needed to be closed up within six hours, they called an ENT. Going to Cornell instead of just going to an emergency room nearby my accident was the biggest mistake of my life. I had to get three stitches, but they were all uneven. I have the weirdest and bumpiest scar on my face and it’s only an inch wide. Cornell is supposed to be the gold standard in quality. Instead I had to ask for ice for my black eye, then after thirty minutes when the ice was pack was warm, I was refused another ice pack. I had to argue for gauze for the open and bleeding wound on my face. The nurse literally told me it wasn’t bleeding that much, and after about a three minute argument, the nurse yelled at me and finally went to get some gauze for the bleeding wound on my face. At the five hour mark of my accident, my friend had to argue with the staff to get them to call someone to close the wound on my face - any one with an elementary knowledge of medicine knows an open jagged wound needs to be closed within six hours. I should have went to Lenox Hill and I would advise anyone else the same. I have excellent insurance, so I’m not sure why I had to argue about common sense things like an ice pack and gauze for an open, bleeding wound.
