I have been going to Dr Adler for over 25 years. Initially for a very severe case of ulcerated colitis. I had previously saw other doctors which could not help me and, I have been fine for many years. I recommend Dr Adler to all of my friends, family and, business associates. I would give ten stars if I could.

BEWARE:Janet in Dr. Adlers billing office is incompetent and lies to protect herself. She billed the insurance company incorrectly multiple times and refused to admit her mistakes. Sadly your time and energy will be wasted by “Janet’s” incompetence and inability to correct a mistake.Instead she will choose to threaten and intimidate to cover her ineptitude.Dr. Adler seems like a fine doctor. He would do well to not employ people like “Janet” who are incapable of doing her job and who choose to lie to patients rather than use basic honesty in their interactions.BEWARE:

Dr. Adler is excellent and I would highly recommend him. I am a travel nurse and was in NYC for a short time. Near the end of my stent here in the big apple I developed some abdominal/chest pain. As a nurse I knew that my symptoms were GI related and that I needed to see a specialist asap as I only had another week in NYC and therefore only another week of insurance for the current job. I went to Dr. Adler. He saw me in his office and after explaining my situation he was kind enough to squeeze me in the following morning at the endoscopy center. Based off of his findings he prescribed me medication and I am already feeling better. Not to mention, although I will no longer be a resident of NYC after this week he still asked that I call him in a few weeks to follow up. AWESOME CARE.~ Cortney Ward

Ive been to three different Gastroenterologists and none have been able to correctly diagnose me except for Dr. Adler. He was able to work with me to get a prescription that actually worked and find out that I DONT actually have a gluten allergy or am allergic to my boyfriends cat, but that I have GERD and that reflux is what was making it hard for me to breathe. He gave me a script for my gerd and even my seasonal allergy. He asked a lot f questions that none of my other GIs asked which I thought was so helpful because no one has done that before. Very professional and made me feel comfortable, unlike another gastro that actually reffered me to an allergist before even running tests. Great front desk staff who always remembers me. Just one thing that was weird is that I am expected to pay my copay before seeing the doctor which Ive never done before. But overall such a great doctor and I feel 100% better now.

I wouldnt give any stars if I could. I was diagnosed with Crohns disease last year. The year before I came to see doctor Adler a number of times and have me an endoscopy. He said it was all in my head and wouldnt do any further testing. After spending a year in constant pain I went to see a few other gastrointeroligists, was advised to take a colonoscopy and finally was rightfully diagnosed. I have never experienced such a rude, unsympathetic and careless doctor in my life. I could sue him for malpractice but dont want to interact with him any more than I already have. Based on the rest of his reviews my case is an unusual one however I would strongly advise against seeing a doctor who treated a patient as disgustingly as he treated me.
