This place is a joke! Purchased a Groupon deal for $122, called in, they wanted a $36 sales taxed paid to them cash only. Haha! Why is it cash only I wonder🤔 on top of that the receptionist was rude. Thx but no thx. Got my refund. CiaoUpdate in responds to the owner:Dear owner, I called in to make an appointment when I heard about your double taxes (10:20am). Right after I called Groupon to find out if I could cancel this unfortunate deal on Groupon, and proceeded with the cancelation as it was approved (a little over 10 minutes). In less then 5 minutes (10:36am) I received a call back from you schooling me about that I had to cancel it before. Whaaaat?! Before when?! I would cancel it but jeez, calling me right after I just hang up with Groupon to tell me what I should have done is rude. Continuing that in your response to my review is double rude.

Its actually comical how much they lack in customer service. If you catch them on a day they dont feel like helping you make an appointment, youre asked to call another time? Whoever answers their phone sounds miserable and unwilling to accommodate you - do you actually want business or are you hoping that you infuriate the public so much that they resort to writing honest reviews about your company for everyone to see? Serious question. Apparently, because of COVID, packages were extended only 4 MONTHS LADIES. Read that again - just in case you miss the email they say they sent, but never really sent. (I thoroughly reviewed the 111 spam messages they flood my inbox with constantly, so Im certain that info was never relayed over) I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt as I understand always accommodating can be a challenge, but at least pretend to make the effort. Based off of the other reviews, it looks like theyve gone down hill the last year or so. Id stay away from this place - its just all around sketchy.

I came for an hour of CBD Massage, it was my first time ever. I do have a lot of back pain and knots due to working at the office and not moving as much as Id like and need to.I really am satisfied with the result after the massage. I feel very relaxed, my muscles feel great.Terry was lovely. The salon is cozy, comfortable, clean and nice!Thank you, guys, for a wonderful experience. Will be back.

Coming for laser hair removal. After two session I had an appointment but no one was there. After waited I front of their close door for 20min I had the salon on call. They canceled my appointment without letting me know. Instead of apologizing they rise the voice against me.The owner of the shop refused to continue my treatment if I don’t delete my comment, and refuse to give me back my money.This spa is a fraud ! Don’t go !

I was recommended by my brother who comes here for his monthly massage treatments.I did the Hot Stone and my therapist was Tamika. Oh boy, was it amazing! I usually get Swedish at another place, this time decided to try something completely new. It did work well on my muscles, Im often sore after playing sports. It is an interesting place with skilled technicians. Loved it, will be coming back!

I really enjoyed Velashape treatments I received from Terry and Lena. They were both very professional and explained what they were doing as they did it. I can see results after 6 treatments. I would recommend the treatment and these technicians!

I’ve been doing LPG treatments for 2 months here, and I’m impressed with the results.This machine really did help me tone my body and get my blood circulation going!All the ladies are kind and have done a great job so far. Receptionist is very sweet and always answers to all my questions. Easy scheduling.Also, their location is very nice, since it’s close to penn station and has subway a few minutes walk from the spa.Overall, amazing experience.

My girlfriend loves this place. She’s recently discovered LPG treatments, and had gone to another place getting pretty good results. However, after trying it at this place, she saw MUCH better results. Not sure if it’s their machine or their technique, but LPG treatments are worth the cost much more here than anywhere else.

I just finished my 10 LPG sessions package at Anta. I’m happy with the results (I started noticing them after my 4th treatment).The price is $650, which is the best I could find around Manhattan. Nice, cozy and clean salon. Easy scheduling.The area (Midtown) is very convenient and easy to get to.Note, for your own comfort, better purchase the LPG suit there and let it be your personal.I will come back in a few months to do some more sessions for maintenance

I came from Berlin to visit my friend here in NYC. On her day off we both decided to go get facials and massages done. I quickly googled something near by and found this gem Anta Spa! I went to Anta spa today for laser and wow! It was awesome! I had hair removal on a large and small area and the technician, Olha was amazing! Didn’t hurt at all. The salon was clean and in such a convent location for me. All staff were really friendly. Walking into a salon I haven’t been to before & being greeted warmly with a smile is the best. Will definitely go back!

I got a deep cleansing facial done and my skin feels so soft and good after it. Not to mention that it’s very convenient being close to the bus station since I came from PA. The best spa in NYC. 10/10

It was my assumption that this machine would just contour my body and assist in ridding me of my cellulite but long and behold its as though you are receiving a deep tissue massage but BETTER! Best Brazilian Wax! – Ive been to Anta SPA a few times now, and I LOVE it. I freak out when getting waxed, and going here is much less painful. Im not saying the experience is stress free, but here it is the most accommodating as it gets. Plus, I stay smooth for weeks!

The service here is phenomenal. The front desk staff is super friendly and makes booking appointments a breeze, plus they send you reminder text once you book a service . I always request Lena They really know what theyre doing here - professional and on point! Plus its super clean and the interior decorations put you in a great mood.

I cant say enough good things about Anta SPA! The staff is very professional, kind, and accommodating. Every time I walk in, they greet me with a smile, check me in, and ask if I want anything to drink. They are very timely, I have never had to wait past my appointment time and always in an out of there in 20 min (I go in for Velashape III ). They also are great about scheduling appointments. I have had some scheduling conflicts come up so had to call and change my appointment time, and they are always happy to help.

I’ve been going to other places who do ten times better. I’m frustrated with their service and care to try to reprimand their mistakes. They are completely avoiding me and not even taking my calls! Decided to come here after a review on an Instagram post. I went in for Velashape, the treatment pain was not bad at all. No down side just a redness, and soreness. I was very informed by a lovely girl named Terry. This place awesome, nice girls who work here and know their stuff. Loved it!

So I think all the equipments here are broken and old. I bought a package from groupon here. Tip all the techs. THE FRONT DESK IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND DISGUSTING! I mean I understand if they willBe that if they have great facilities and like great spa but they don’t. Everything is old and dated. My first technician said that working there was horrible so I don’t know if she left but I know she looked for another job. So today I had my last of my last patience! I called an hour before my scheduled appointment because the weather auddenly went bad I mean worst! There was zero visibility like zero! Because of the snow. And I received an emergency alert not to drive or run outside because of the road condition. So I called to tell them that I could not make it because I cannot risk my life for it and then this RUDE frontdesk was like “okay you’re just gonna lose one session of your package because we have a 24 hour rule of cancellation policy” and I was like???? This weather was not my doing! How am I suffering because of it? HOW?! She sounded sassy and rude. She didn’t even feel sorry or sound sympathetic.IF YOU WANT A GOOD RESULT FOR LASERS AND SERVICES TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! This place isn’t worth it! On my first day I really thought about cancelling everything because of the services but then I couldn’t anymore! RUDE!!!!

I went today for pressotherapy. My first time doing it, and nobody even asked about it nor explained anything about the service. If I did not ask more info about it, they would have just sent me into the room and bye bye. The only other words I heard from the lady - after a quick, like super quick explanation - was If you cant breath just scream and Ill come in which scared the S*#@! out of me. Customer service was extremely rude. I got my session through Groupon and I was told that I had to pay sale-tax, just cash. When I asked why I had to pay, really out of curiosity because I thought everything was included in the Groupon, I got as explanation We have to pay taxes to our government so I need you to pay me in such a rude way as it was my fault for that. I do not recommend this place nor I will ever go there again!!

So I read reviews before my appointment and started to get worried that I didnt see the reviews before getting a groupon deal. So i went in skeptical, upon arrival I was greeted, the receptionist was pleasant. All the things I saw people complained about I was told about about. Guess they read the reviews as well and made peoole aware that these are the rules lol.The tax is ridiculous they let u pay tax on original price not Groupon price. Lateness, If you cancel after 24hrs you loose a session. Which is ridiculous because emergencies happen. They had a sign about only one groupon voucher. I was there for laser hair removal. The process took less than 10 mins. How can that be effective??? Then I had to ask about how to care the area after. I have had laser done at another laser spa and I must say I love there process and location better. The other spa sends you a detail emailed on how to care the area before and after laser treatment. You get a text before and after your visit. Anta has a very small space, tgey text you 24hrs before to confirm thats it. But it did look clean, I saw precious comments about that.I was told at Anta that the hair removal process wont show result until multiple sessions. But at the other laser salon I went to for a different area I saw results after the first session. One Week later less hair was growing back. But was told thats not how it works from Anta. So Im not sure what kind of machines they are using that makes the process different. After seeing what happened to the area of skin that was lasered I came back to change my star review from 3 to 2. There machine burned me. 😔😔

I purchased a Groupon deal of laser hair’s removal and i used two sessions of it. Hair should fall out during 2 weeks but they didn’t. I used hair’s laser removal in 2 other salons for a year and it worked very well. However the machine in Anta Spa didn’t work. When I came for second session I asked the lady who worked there why my hair didn’t fall out, she told me it’s ok. What???? After second time my hair didn’t fall out also. I paid my money ($208+$20)and I expect to get a result. I was so upset and I wanted to get a refund for this deal. I texted to Groupon, but they told me to contact Anta Skin and laser Spa.The Spa offered me to use the remaining amount ($178) for any other services. I checked the list of all the services on a website, but nothing satisfied me. Also I had bad experience there already .. I just wanted to get refund ($178 is fine too) and spend it for laser hair’s removal as I planned.Almost one year has passed... I didn’t get a refund, just lost my money .

I went for an eyelash extension with a Groupon. It wa a very good experience. My eyelashes looked beautiful and lasted a full 3 weeks.I cant speak to their other services, but they were welcoming and had no attitude which is a breath of fresh air in NYC.

I was given a groupon for an hour long Swedish massage awhile back and decided to make an appointment for 3/27. I confirmed this date with the receptionist multiple times. I get a call from them on 3/26 saying I missed my appointment--even though my appointment was for 3/27. I explained to them THEIR mix up and I was given a hostile response claiming they are closed on Mondays. I’m not sure why I’m being held responsible for a receptionist’s inability to schedule me on the correct date. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and rescheduling me they said my groupon was no longer of use and would have to buy another groupon.

Horrible experience, did 4 sessions and not even one hair fell off ! DO NOT GO THERE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIMEI stoped my sessions and they did redound me for the remaining sessions

Paid for unlimited services at this location. They didnt have unlimited sessions for a year. Went to about 7 to 8 sessions and it didnt work at all. All my supposed zapped hairs are still growing out in full. Its now November and my sessions are supposed to be over in March.

THIS PLACE REFUSED TO PERFORM LASER HAIR REMOVAL BECAUSE I WAS TOO DARK. Ive done laser hair removal before; this is the first time I was ever turned down due to the color of my skin. I was told their machine was only for white skinned people and that it would only burn my skin. I drove 40 minutes for this consultation in which they just looked at me and turned me down. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.

They tried to charge me 48% of the price as “tax” which I purchased via Groupon. And the tax is ONLY payable by cash. They insisted that the tax was for original price, but how come I have to pay the tax amount for the original price not for the discounted one? Very disappointed.
