Please be careful with your dog. I was in NYC for a week with my family and decided to look for a daycare for my Bruno a miniature schnauzer 🐶. As I got back to my hotel and playing with him we noticed he had scratches all over his tummy and mouth. We had in mind leaving him for 2 days while we enjoy the city but after that experience I was NOT going to leave him again under care of this people. I was very lucky to find a very nice girl in the App Rover that took care of my Bruno and he was happy to stay with her and her husband.

Cross posting from Yelp - this is the former D Pets Hotel rebranded - feel free to look up reviews under the former name/management for a sense of their practices.They almost killed my dog ~5 years ago when she stayed there for boarding, and now they have the audacity to spam text message me about her being due for a vaccination.I called them once to remove my information from their customer database and the representative had the nerve to hang up on me.Then they emailed me with the same vaccination request! I called them again and hopefully Ill actually be removed this time.For the love of your pet, please look at all the negative reviews and dont bring them here!

I took my 2 year old Chow Chow here for a vet visit regarding his allergies. My dog is new to the city and it was his first time at this clinic so he was a bit nervous. Overall, the vet took great care of him and I noticed that they also have a doggie daycare. I decided to take him to his first day of daycare a couple weeks after his vet visit. My dog loves other dogs but is just scared of meeting people for the first time as it takes him awhile to open up. My experience with the doggie daycare staff did not go well as they immediately took him to the back where the daycare was and I noticed how scared my dog was by these people. I did not feel comfortable with how they handled my dog as he kept barking and I wanted to leave with him. The lady insisted on trying again to take his harness off but my dog was already stressed! Please do your research on taking your dog here, I will never come back.

We’ve been taking our golden retriever there for a month now and it has made an immeasurable improvement to our lives - both my wife and I and more importantly our dog! The staff is always there from 7am-7pm super excited to see our pup and he is super excited to see them (almost too excited). The staff always knows his name and his preferences. Then when we get him back he’s exhausted from playing all day and ready to just chill with us. We can’t say enough positive about the staff and the service!

The vet gave me a pack of expired medicines, and charged me for an expensive cup for my cats waste examination, which is never delivered.

I dont know if this is a good pet hotel or not - looking through the window at the dogs chilling out together on their holidays always makes me laugh tho!

Wonderful. She didnt want to go home . we walked out and open the car door for her and she turned around and walked back to the hotel. She had a great time . we even received video updates while she was there . Jonathan was great and yvona was awesome too. Check in was easy and just like a real hotel. They did a great job walking her too , they were easy with her as she a rescue and needs to be told go to use the bathroom . she has a handicap to her mouth so they took it easy, which i appericate . will lodge her , even just do some day care . she loved it that much.Dalhila 💘 u guys .

Shona T, the assistant Vet Technician was amazing, and so sweet to our kitty! Thank you to her and Dr. Julio for being so thorough and patient with us, nervous parents, coming to the vet during Covid Times. Shona went above and beyond to help us out at checkout as well. Very grateful! 🙏🏻

We left our dog there this weekend. A cute 4 months old boxer. In fact got more likes then almost any dog on dogist. They emailed my daughter he got bit playing around. My daughter picked him up and he had sores and cuts all over and his lip is still bleeding two days later. I can understand a scratch here or there, but this was all over his neck and mouth. Maybe 15 cuts or so. He plays in Washington Park and Madison Park so knows how to play with all types of dogs. They clearly aren’t watching very carefully to allow this to happen. I called up the place today and they said the manager would call me back. Never did. If you love your dog, don’t leave them here! Be warned.

Our dog was quite nervous on her first day here. Within two weeks, Laika knew which street to turn on and was excited to see every person who was at the desk. Everyone knows her and they have sent videos of her having fun. I know I can check in with the staff and they will tell me how she is and how she has been interacting with the other dogs. Also, the late hours of the unlimited monthly membership has completely changed how we spend our weeknights. After a few months of not leaving Laikas side, weve been able to go out to dinner and even see a show. 100% worth it.

This is by far the nicest Pet Hotel Beefy has visited. Everything is top notch and Kerry and Chris pay attention to every detail small or large. Beefy has skateboarded many times in the doggy recreation area and relaxed in the suites. The doggy spa is a big hit with the female canine patrons. You wont find a more competent staff or superior accommodations. Put your mind at ease when you arent with your favorite 4- legged friend because D Pet Hotels has got you covered.

Amazing facility! Each pet has its own individual room to sleep in at night. The staff is very friendly and kind to your dogs needs. Highly recommended! My dog stays here every time Im out of town. I wouldnt take her anywhere else!

They need to have 24 hour surveillance for each pet. Real time video recordings.

They seem great, and I even met the owner personally - who also seemed nice. However as soon as they had my dog boarded there they neglected to send the daily videos that were promised (only sent 2 out of 6, and the ones sent even seemed to be from the same day), ignored emails from me, and returned my dog to me with viral warts, under weight, her bed destroyed, and she extremely was shaking and sad. All in all what was meant to be a well researched and positive experience for our dog and for us, turned into a horrendous one. Never again.
