Saw Dr Abuchaibe initially and he told me to come back for a blood test so he can examine my levels and make recommendations from there. I am told just to arrive without an appointment for this blood test. Not only did i wait over an hour to be seen by a nurse to get blood drawn because the Dr left no notes for the staff about what kind of blood test to do, I am then told Ill need to be here for 4 hours and will have blood taken periodically every hour for a glucose test. Youd think this fine detail wouldve been communicated to me so I could arrange my work schedule and mentally prepare for having 10+ vials of blood taken but no, doesnt seem to matter to Dr Abuchaibe. I am still not sure if that test was even meant for me or it was a mixup. I would not recommend.

Ive found Dr. Abuchaibe during the pandemic and have only seen him through video chat. My experience has been phenomenal. Not only is he up to date with endocrine research but is kind and knowledgeable in his field as well. I have found him to be the most responsive Dr. I have ever had ( through Mychart.) I emailed him several times about medication and blood work questions when he was on vacation and he responded right away. (He is a better person than I am). I have not had any contact with the front desk staff but want to say not to judge this great endocrinologist by tired, overworked, or cranky staff. The bad reviews bother me because I have seen over 15 endocrinologists (paid out of pocket for some) and he has been the best in my adult life. When leaving reviews I urge ppl to consider other people who cannot find a qualified in network physician and only review on the caliber of knowledge quality. I could not recommend him anymore highly!

You would think that any doctor works alongside their staff to work together to create a good experience for their patients but no, that is not the case in this office. Dr. Cesar Abuchaibe is quick to point the finger on others instead of taking ownership on behalf of the staff that is working for him. He has no people skills and told me “You can go ahead and cancel. I don’t care”. Worst doctor experience I have ever had. Customer service should always be your #1 priority despite the industry you are in and clearly he put no effort into learning that part of the business.

Everyone was nice and felt that my concerns were met. Not sure why people complained about the staff and front desk. I felt it was efficient and knowledgeable and during the pandemic my safety was cared for. Fingers crossed my condition will be addressed and I will fill better with time and care.

Completely incompetent staff. Confirmed my appointment a week before then when I arrived they told me they cancelled the day before in a message that I never received and acted rude like it was my fault. If there is a site that gives this doctor above average reviews you should consider if they make money from him and trim the bad reviews because no doctor with an office this rude and incompetent is worth going to.

Dr. Abuchaibe is excellent, his reception staff is either lazy or overworked... wait times are always excessive and very difficult to get through on the phone the phone. i do however recommend

I have been going to MSHS for years now. They diagnosed Me with my condition and I eventually found Dr. Abuchaibe. This doctor is amazing. He understood my concerns and almost a year later I have understood my condition more and thanks to his treatment I am much healthier now. He was the only one who could answer my questions for my condition which he put me on a medication that had literally saved my life. Just think I was almost 200lbs being 5’2 and now 147 lbs all because he knew how to treat my condition that basically made me gain so much weight no mater what diet and exercise. I highly recommend him. These are the type doctors we need.

Im beyond impressed by Dr. Abuchaibes bedside manner. He is very intelligent and has serious interest in his patients well being. He isnt a cooker cutter doctor. He goes out of his way to make sure the patient understands the plan of action and makes it happen. He doesnt dilly dolly about and makes it clear that curing is his goal.HOWEVER, the staff is horrible. These girls are miserable. I cannot for the life of me understand why MD front desk females across the nation typically have this defect. Having said that do not let those miserable unhappy women stop you from getting a great MD who can possibly cure you.Dont forget that you are the patient & essentially the customer, who brings in the money that essentially pays them all! I wish those front desk girls understood that. Thats Mt. Sinais fault for not doing proper training during their orientations.Anywho if you seriously need an Endocrinologist this is the man to go to.Ps. He also speaks perfect Spanish.

I had an appointment for 2pm I thought it was for 2:30pm .Because I was an half hour late I had to wait for 2 hours. When I am early for this doctor I have to wait when I am late I have to wait. Above that his assistant is very unprofessional. She is extremely rude. I will be reporting my experience to the appropriate authorities. I will seek another endocrinologist.
