We had a great experience with NYC Endodontics. My son, an adult with special needs, had to have a root canal. Our regular dentist referred us to them. Beautiful clean office, which had great Covid protocols. From the ladies at the front desk to the dentist and her assistant they were incredibly professional and empathetic to our situation. Dr. Bair was able to do my son’s root canal with just Novocain. Highly recommend this practice.

Absolutely amazing experience at NYC Endodontics from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone (with major props to the front desk intake staff!) is exceedingly pleasant, which put me at ease and allayed my fears. They answered every question in detail, asked follow-up questions of their own, gave clear and professional instructions, explained anything and everything possible. The state-of-the-art office was spotless and social distancing and protective measures were in full effect, which I highly appreciated (staying masked, washing hands on entry, sitting 6 feet apart, enclosed front desk - all the things!). Dr. Bair and every member of her team are gems! My experience in the chair, though long and arduous, was as efficient, thorough, careful, and kind as one could ever hope for. This is the 2nd time Ive been referred to NYC Endodontics. After enduring incredible pain for several weeks, I broke down and called to schedule an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to be given an appointment sooner than I expected. The great experience continued when I entered their new office. Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental assistant and the dentist were amazing , the actual procedure was not as painful as I thought it would be. Would highly recommend this facility.
I can only say that my experience was 10/10. The office staff was friendly and what matters most is that my tooth extraction and implant placement by Dr. Sarmiento was done expediently and with essentially no pain. The follow up and post procedure care was top notch. I have and would send my family to Dr Sarmiento with out any hesitation.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Resnick, as he was referred to me by my dentist, for an emergency root canal. The front office staff was super welcoming. Rachel had welcomed me in and in her super friendly manner laid out all of the instructions during my visit. Dr. Resnick was also calming and friendly and right off the bat I felt at ease and in good hands. Throughout the procedure he checked in with me multiple times to make sure that I was ok and that everything was going well for me. He also talked me through the entire procedure which was helpful and informative. The procedure was done in an hour! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Resnick. He was a perfectionist, super professional, truly knew his craft, friendly, calming and a real mensch. The office is clean and gorgeous with modern, clean lines and the latest equipment. Everything was digitized; this was definitely a 21st century experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Resnick to anyone!
Fist time patient but treated like a long timer.Very accommodating staff; polite, friendly, experienced and efficient.Dr Resnicks post exam explanation of his findings was clear. conciseand responded to questions fully and directly. All in all my experience washighly satisfactory. Were I to require endodontic treatment in the future,this is the practice to which Id return..

I had 3 root canals and one resorption fixed by Dr Bair. One of the root canal extraordinary difficult -I obviously have a complicated dental case and been through a lot.Dr. Bair always made me feel at ease and she goes above and beyond to avoid you feeling pain. She is a perfectionist with her work and very thorough and talented doctor.No body asked me to review which Is a good sign of a dental office.Also Rachel at front desk was super helpful she is the best and always happy to help with insurance and any concerns.

This place is extraordinary across the board, from the reception (Rachael, I believe) to JR to Dr. Resnick! The equipment was state of the art, the amiable and succinct manner the way they explained things was very lucid and comfortable, and the follow up call that evening from Dr. Resnick himself was very thoughtful. As a bonus, they’re very nice. I knew I probably needed a root canal, but I thought it would require a couple of sessions. They achieved the whole procedure smoothly and efficiently in a very short time! NYC Endodontics are as good as one could ask for!
Referred by my general practice dentist for a root canal. Highly professional staff, communication, process , and pre-office visit web registration and information. Sophisticated office setup and Equipment, particularly under Covid pandemic. I was cold on the day of my appointment to say the doctor would be 15 minutes late and I could come later. Amazing. I was highly confident in every aspect of the operation. Dr. Ziccarelli and his assistant were professional. Communicated clearly throughout the process. I understood everything that was going on. While root canals are never fun, this was relatively painless except for the usual vibration. All I needed the evening after were two Tylenols. Clear instructions were given to me in writing with instructions on how to reach the doctor if anything concerned me. I was called that evening by the doctor to be sure everything was fine. I am sure my follow-up visit will be equally satisfactory. I could not recommend this more highly than I am.. my referring dentist said that if youre going to have a root canal or need an endodontist, this is the place to be in New York City. I couldnt agree more.
I had a root canal with Dr. Resnick yesterday. I had been putting it off for months due to the pandemic. Dr. Resnick is very skilled and the procedure was painless. I felt completely safe in his office. Motrin took care of any soreness the first day and I was pain free by the next day. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Donelsen performed a root canal on a tooth I had fractured. The accident and ensuing pain were of course a traumatic experience, but as soon as I was in Dr. Donelsen’s care, I felt assured and then the entire experience was smooth and painless and expertly handled from start to finish. And to top it off, I have felt zero pain in the ensuing 24 hours. The office itsef is warm and welcoming and the staff was helpful and delightful. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Resnick at New York City endodontics for many years now. The question really becomes how could his practice have improved from the world class standard he had set at the former Madison Avenue location. Well they did it. First of all their hygiene and safety protocols were at baseline Covid -ready: that’s their default. The tweaks include full shielding around the reception areas with extraordinary care support and unflappable management during what is often an emergency situation. I have infinite gratitude for Rachel for arranging my emergency visit for which Rachel conferred with Dr. Resnick resulting in his coming in on a vacation day. The biggest change at the current location at 30 E. 60th St. between Park and Madison is the extraordinary design and outfitting with a completely integrated state of the art layout and ALL equipment. The practice of endodontics has changed tremendously over the past 20 years. But many endodontists have not kept up with all that this specialty now has to offer. The foundation is 3-D imaging (performed by the wonderful technician JR) projected digitally on huge screens in each doctors’

Dr. Donelson and the NYC Endodontics team are great. Ive had 2 root canals performed here (during covid) and their team has really helped me.Dr. Donelson is great at making the root canal process as painless as possible. The office has all the latest technology and it makes a huge difference. I barely needed painkillers after each of the root canal procedures.More importantly, the team makes sure that the job is done correctly. One of my teeth is particularly challenging, and NYC Endodontics team has this amazing 3D imaging machine that shows them exactly the cause of the problem...and also whether the problem is fixed.I love that Dr. Donelson is including follow-up imaging of my tooth in the price of the root canal - its nice to know that the job is done right without having to worry about unplanned expenses.Dr. Donelson is in-network with my dental plan so the root canal procedure was reasonably priced.This office has an exceptional administrative staff that professionally and politely answered all my questions about costs, billing, appointments, and more. I wish every doctor had a staff like here.The office is super-clean and follows great covid prevention standards.

I scheduled an appointment at NYC Endodontics after another endodontist said my asymptomatic molar might have to be “pulled” based on the complexity of the root canal and that I should visit a practice with more sophisticated diagnostic equipment. I highly recommend Dr. Bair. Dr. Resnick also consulted on my case and I appreciate the teamwork evident in the practice. The staff, environment, and care are all top notch and two painless visits later my tooth was saved.
I can not say enough good things about this place and Dr. Boyd. The office is so clean and equipment is top of the line. The receptionist are so friendly and helpful. Most of all I want to give Dr. Boyd the recognition she deserves. I came to her to finish up a root canal, after my regular dentist was unable to complete it. I knew it may be tough, but she was able to complete it. She was very nice, thorough, and skilled. I was very worried about payment for this procedure, as I had already used up my dental deductible for the year. She went above and beyond in accommodating me. Thank you Dr. Boyd and NYC Endodontics. Dr. Zicarelli is an excellent dentist very straight forward and takes time to let you understand what is happening with your teeth and why a root canal is necessary. Having a dental emergency during the Corona 19 virus pandemic is not ideal... but their office is super safe they thought of everything Rachel ( best receptionist ever) calls you and tells you what to do before you get there and only one patient at a time allowed up. I felt very confident that their staff was safe and I felt safe.
Dr Boyd and team were throughly excellent. Facility is immaculately clean and anyone should feel comfortable making an appointment even during the. current circumstances. Dr Boyd is professional, concise in her communication, and very empathetic. All nurses, assistants, and front desk likewise courteous and warm.
Acute/subacute presentation. Assigned to Dr. Boyd and her colleague. Efficient, effective, expert care rendered; presenting problem beneficially effected/brought into remission in relatively short order.
Dr. Donelson and the NYC Endodontics staff are so nice and polite. What I loved is that Dr. Donelson warned me each time there would be a change or a new noise during a post removal. I appreciate the wonderful bedside manner and the clear plan of action Dr. Donelson provided as well as my options.

From the call to make an appointment - which was handled by Rachel - who was incredibly kind, explained everything to me and most importantly settled my nerves. The day of the appointment I was greeted by Rachel, who is super nice, and then taken to meet Dr. Thomas Zicarelli. He was AMAZING. He walked me through everything - explaining what was happening with my tooth and exactly what he would be doing. Absolutely zero pain during the procedure. Apparently the anatomy of my tooth is such that it has three canals, so it was like getting three root canals and with all that work on the tooth - the whole process was very relaxing and like I said ZERO pain. I came home and took ibuprofen one time as I have experienced no discomfort post the procedure. Dr. Zicarelli is incredibly nice, competent, friendly, welcoming and I was made to feel very comfortable. I highly recommend should the words root canal come up, dont panic, this place is incredible, so go there knowing you are in excellent, caring hands. Seriously ZERO pain.

I had a few issues and he called me back immediately, late at night and early in the morning. The office is modern and light and the treatment was virtually pain free. I cant recommend Dr. Z and his staff enough.
Excellent visit with Dr. Zicarelli, who analyzed my extraction pain issue via X-rays and a physical exam and pointed out important information on the X-ray, while providing me with his prognosis in positive and friendly manner, with assurances that he would be there for me in case a problem arose.The office also gets high marks in its physical partitions and professional approach to dealing with Covid concerns.

I saw Dr. Christina Boyd at this office. First let me say that the experience was a totally positive one. Dr. Boyd was wonderful and the sessions were relatively pain free. Outstanding office with meticulous attention to preventing transmission of COVID-19, all the most modern technology to render care, and most important of all, Dr. Resnick is highly competent at what he does and took excellent care of me.Had to have another tooth treated. He again did an excellent job. He is an excellent endodontist and clearly knows what he is doing. As a spine surgeon, I had my choice of anyone in the city and am able to judge his skills. Dr. Resnick has a well-deserved, excellent reputation, a great bedside manner and he is technically superb. I was so relaxed, i kept falling asleep during the procedure.

I’m surprised by negative reviews. I saw Dr. Donelsen for a root canal and she was very reassuring and the experience was pain free. The office is beautiful and very clean and everyone who works there is so nice. I would absolutely recommend them.

This review is a little late, I had a root canal here 5 years ago by Dr. Gallin and everything went fine. He has since retired but Im sure the current staff and equipment are still top notch. Their fees are high if they dont take your insurance, so weigh that in your decision to use them.I just recently had another root canal here done by Dr. Zicarelli. Top-notch service, highly recommend if you can afford them.

Dr Resnick was simply fantastic from start to finish, very authoritative, yet took time to fully explain everything and talk me through the entire procedure. I had been dreading and putting off my root canal work, but when Dr Resnick was recommended to me went straight to office and within two appointment by treatment was complete and was relatively painless throughout. I simply can’t recommend Dr Resnick highly enough. He made a root canal a fantastic experience.
Its always frustrating when a dentist tells you that the pain you are feeling will eventually go away, but it doesn’t. Thankfully, I finally came across New York City Endodontics after doing more research. The Dr. was incredibly kind and thorough in explaining to me the details of the procedure. As a dental phobic, it was actually great that the process resulted in almost no discomfort. Finally, my initial pain that had driven me to see them in the first place was gone after a series of work done. What a lifesaver, thank you NYC Endodontics!
Superb care from the moment I arrived. what had been previously believed to be the cause of my tooth pain was in fact wrong and thankfully Dr. Resnick discovered the source of it. had I gone elsewhere, I would have gotten the wrong tooth done. he has 3D tests to ensure the right diagnosis. the root canal was painless and he took time to explain each step. Worst business in New York. They called me 3 years after I saw them demanding $83, after having never contacted me before. They said my insurance paid them $820 but they wants $83 from me now. I have no way of verifying whether I paid them at the time or not as it was THREE YEARS AGO. Extremely shady business practice. Not trustworthy people and extremely greedy. Huge thumbs down.

I had a recent canal infection that lead to a large abscess. I’m not sure how it got infected again, but I needed a prompt treatment and solution. In addition, the pain was leaving me with little choices. NYC Endo came in at the right time and provided genuine, high-quality and professional service. They treated the tooth and did a great job in removing the infection. Of course, I had some anesthesia administered, but there was no discomfort experienced at all during the procedure. After a couple of weeks, I was able to eat as normal again and my tooth misery finally came to an endodontist. I live in Queens, and am happy to have this office within good distance from me.
