It was very simple to set an appointment - and they called to confirm days before. I showed up and the receptionist was ready to take care of me and I was signed up and ready to go in minutes. The staff was incredible and easy to talk to - they made the process easy and straightforward and provided a few laughs along the way. Best time Ive ever had at a dentists office - Im so glad I found you all.

Dr. Chung is excellent. He knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Chung made me feel at ease, explained my treatment plan in detail, and took the time I needed to make sure I feel safe and answered all my questions answered. 10/10, would recommend.

The receptionist TONY is unbelievably rude!!! How could you be so combative when someone is trying to bring more business to the physician??? Oh because it’s not YOUR business, you’re ghetto and have ZERO sense of business etiquette! I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and disrespectful she was over the phone. Dr. Papadakis you’re going to lose a lot of business with this young lady being the first point of contact.... I’ve never experienced anything like this!!!

I’ve been looking for a great team to work on my teeth for a long time, and I’m really satisfied with the work that was done. Dr. Gonzalez, Dr. Chung, and Romeo made the procedure fast and painless. Check in was seamless as Caitlyn at the front desk was really sweet. I’ll definitely return because I know they will take good care of my teeth.

I’ve been seeing Dr. P for 6 years now and every time I go in for an appointment I feel so grateful I found him. While most dental offices I went to in the past felt cold and off-putting, Dr. P. and his staff put me at ease every time. Not only do they genuinely care about you during appointments, but they remember your specific needs and concerns as a patient. This consideration and kind manner is always a reminder that Dr. P and his entire staff are truly concerned with my well being. My hygienist, Cathy, has also been really committed to showing me how to properly take care of my teeth and gums on my own, taking the time to show me how to floss correctly. I am certain that this has made all the difference in my overall dental health. Unlike other people my age who are starting to have issues with their teeth and gums, I have been able to maintain excellent oral hygiene thanks to Cathy’s help. As far as professional cleanings go, I would highly recommend her to anyone needing to get a dental cleaning. Cathy’s work is always so thorough, leaving my teeth sparkling each and every time I walk out of our appointments.Even though I have been seeing Dr. P for a while and always appreciated his work, my recent visits to his office are what have inspired me to write this review. For over 20 years I knew I needed veneers to fix some cosmetic issues with my teeth. I had been self-conscious about those issues since my permanent teeth grew in when I was a kid, but I wasn’t ready to address the problem until this past summer. Of course given all my great experiences with Dr. P, there was no doubt in my mind that he’d be the one for the job. When I went in for the consultation, he explained the process thoroughly and answered all my questions fully. By the time I left that day I was more confident than ever that I could trust this major, permanent procedure with Dr. P, and I was absolutely right. My veneers look completely natural and they have resolved all my cosmetic issues to the point where I’m starting to forget what those issues even were! More importantly, I’m smiling without the slightest bit of self-consciousness for the first time in my adult life. It’s an amazing feeling! I find myself beaming all day now, feeling this incredible freedom I only ever imagined, and I owe it all to Dr. P. Not only is he a skilled professional, he is truly an artist who takes great pride in the work he does, and it shows in the results.So if you’re looking for the most gifted, kind, skilled dentist in New York, go to Dr. P. Walking through the doors, there was a sense of relief, the staff is amazing the place is clean. My assign dentist Dr Medina wonderful until months later, that the implant had to be taking out, because it didnt take. For months had fevers and infection on the implant, Dr. Medina kept insisting that I had chewed on it, which could have happened, but it was not a fact. As it turns out 5 to 10 % of the population can reject an implant. As soon as it was taking out I felt 100% better. To be fair I just wanted half of my money back.... to not give me a refund at all because the excuse is that I sabotage my self by eating eggs is a disservice to my intelligence. So disappointing of Dr. Medina callously greedy behavior.

Always friendly, compassionate and answer any questions/concerns. They are very thorough and I like the quality of their work. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Papadakis and Dr. Medina with a dental implant. It all begins with the office ambiance and decoration that is beautiful. The staff is very polite and courteous.Both doctors explained to me step by step the procedures I was going to have done. They were professional, knowledgeable and informative. I guess almost everyone is a little bit scared to go to the dentist. Being treated in such a gentle and caring way helps you trust the entire process.I was involved in all the decision making as they showed me the x-rays, positioning of the implant, choosing of the color for the crown and so forth.If you are looking for a high-tech and advanced dental office this is an excellent option for you. My experience was amazing. I have been a patient for 7 years. The dentist on the team are dedicated to get the best results. It was a very nice and calm atmosphere. Major reconstructive work with implants and the dentist is using the most advance up to date technology. I am not afraid to go to the dentist anymore! Great experience as always!

Implants I knew, were something I had to do, someday! So, I put it off and worried about it for more than 2 years continuing to wear my old worn out bridge as long as I could. Luckily for me, I had already found and met with Dr Papadakis and knew he was the perfect Dentist (a Prosthodontist!) that I could put my faith and trust in. When the day came, I felt completely at ease when he entered the room and took command. I was in great hands and there was a team of Professionals with me to assist Dr P in the supremely clean and sterile operatory. In less than 2 hours, several teeth were extracted and I had six new Implants! Dr Papadakis was wonderful! The procedure wasnt totally pleasant, of course! but it also wasnt as bad as I had worried about! and Dr Papadakis kept me comfortable throughout the treatment. After fitting my new pearly white temp bridge in place and finishing up the procedure, I went home with my beautiful new white smile and with no complications or pain. There was a little swelling a day later but everything was normal and I was back to work on Monday morning after the weekend. I highly recommend the offices of Papadakis & Gonzalez on the Upper East Side where the Dental Treatment is always First Class!Thank you Dr Papadakis and your Team of Professionals!

Dr. Papadakis is one of a kind. He is a phenomenal dentist and a wonderful person. Ive been to so many dentists offices and nobody compares! I recently went to this office for a crown. Dr. Gonzalez made this experience as easy and comfortable as possible. I called a few days after the procedure to ask Dr. Gonzalez a question. Instead of having her staff answer my question, she immediately picked up the phone and answered any and all questions I had. The office staff also always makes billing and scheduling as simple as possible. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gonzalez to anyone looking for a dentist on the Upper East Side.

They have an awesome hygienist, I think his last name is Gonzalez. I would give him 5 stars if I could. Very knowledgeable and super nice.The rest seems more of a business than dentistry. The first thing I was told was that I needed to remove 4 of my perfectly fine wisdom teeth that have never bothered me, dont cause any pain, problems or crowding, under an excuse that its hard to clean them and easy to get cavities. A statement that has no scentific proof. Ive had them for 14 years and havent had problems. Then I was told that I needed a root canal and a crown for one of my teeth because it seemed like the filling was badly placed and that it was too close to the nerve. I was told the same thing 5 years prior, refused the root canal and the crown, and the tooth continues being perfectly fine. Then I waited in a chair for 30 min for a follow up paperwork.To be frankly honest, its scary to go to dentist office like that. They dont ask you any questions, dont bother figuring out what you problems might be, how you feel or what you think. The doctor spends 5 min with you, gives her opinion and walks off. If you dont have a common knowledge in dentistry, youll end up paying thousands of dollars for unnecessary and dangerous procedures.

I have finally had enough.........In January I had a dental emergency. I found this practice through a search of my insurance providers. They were really friendly and accommodated my schedule.The office is clean, modern and bright and equipped with the newest dental tools, which I liked. I was given an exam and a full set of digital x-rays. I was told that I needed 5 root canals including the tooth with the emergency. While only ever having one root canal before, I was a bit surprised about the need but turning 50 can do things like that, I thought.The costs of my emergency care was discussed in detail including the amount that the insurance company would pay. I signed off and paid the difference, approximately $800.During the clinical encounters, I spent almost three hours in the chair during one session, the longest dental encounter in my life. After the work on the initial teeth was complete, I still had moderate pain. After a follow up visits and x-ray I was told all was well even though I continued to have pain. I was also told to have the other 4 root canals fixed. I left a bit skeptical but with a wait and see attitude.My insurance did infact pay exactly what was expected but I am now told that they didnt calculate the charges correctly and that I owe additional money. When I reviewed that we went over this in detail, the insurance did in fact pay what was expected so that I should not owe any additional funds. They could not provide any answer other than I still owed about $400. At this point I made my first request to speak to someone with ownership interest in the practice and was told they would get back to me.During the next 3 months I have been contacted three different times, all on a recall basis to sell me the rest of the care that they determined that I needed. When I asked to speak to someone in ownership I was told three additional times that someone would get back to me.Now 5 months out I am trying to get to the bottom of all this and initiated a call to speak to someone with ownership (my fifth attempt). This morning I was told that someone would call backing within an hour, and this afternoon, Kim informed me that no one would be calling me back and I could speak to her but not to anyone in ownership or senior management. So things are still up in the air but I am not happy with the clinical work, financial dealings or the administration of this practice.

I visited this office over a year ago for a regular cleaning/check-up. The actual visit was fine. However, it has been >1 year since my visit, and they still havent billed my insurance. Ive given them my insurance info 3 times, and they somehow keep losing it and forgetting to file a claim with the payer. Their administrative staff is constantly changing and everything gets lost. They are now trying to bill me personally. Very poor communication and administration.

I am not a big fan of going to the dentist - never have been. I have been to about 7-8 different dentists throughout my life (Im 33) and have had some good and some bad experiences. This by far was the most pleasant dentist experience of my life. The front desk staff was extremely nice, personable, and made the whole process for my first visit very easy. The dental hygienist was very thorough and made me feel like my teeth were perfectly clean when I was finished with my appt. Dr. Gonzalez was so friendly and explained EVERYTHING to me, even if she was unprompted with a question. I even got to speak with Dr. Padadakis about specific dental procedures and he was very detailed with the information. I felt very comfortable with everyone in the office and they made it a very relaxed environment to be in. Ive never been to any kind of doctor that had such innovative technology systems and tools which made the whole experience much more comforting. I would most definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist!

The office sparkles white from floor to ceiling with the latest in technology and comforts. The receptionist was kind and courteous. The hygienist who handled my cleaning was very thorough but careful not to inflict unnecessary pain. She went above and beyond to explain her process and educate me on best practices in oral hygiene. She was particularly mindful of my schedule to get me out the door in a timely manner. My most sincere appreciation for this particular practice is reflected in the confidence I have in Dr. Papadakis. Ive been his patient for several years now (and I am particularly fond of his new offices). And the other day, when Dr. Papadakis was busy with another patient, I was seen by Dr. Gonzalez who was equally professional and courteous. Dr. Papadakis’s office is very pretty, clean and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and the environment always gives me this cozy home feeling. I’ve been coming here for about 6 years now, and I love this place. I wouldn’t go to any other place, to trust with handling my teeth. Dr. Papadakis is by far the most amazing dentist I have ever had! And believe me, I have had many. I’ve had a long span of 8 years with on and off braces, also constantly going to the dentist for bleaching. So I have been through my fair share of uninformed terrible dentist. And thank gosh I found Dr. Papadakis because he knows his stuff.Okay, so I originally went to Dr. Papadakis about 6 years ago, because I wanted a brighter smile. My teeth were badly stained from all the years of braces. I was sick of constantly bleaching my teeth. So he suggested veneers, and I agreed since it would be more of a permanent fix. He was very clear explaining all of my options. He was very charming and definitely made me feel comfortable, like he truly cared about my smile and making me happy. So I knew then, it was a match made in heaven. He set everything up and the process wasn’t painful at all, and didn’t take very long, everything went smoothly.Literally the next day after I had my new veneers on, I had a hair appointment at my salon, and this lady came up to me and said “WOW, you have such a beautiful smile” not once have I ever heard that before in all my years(I was only 24 but still lol), I could almost burst into tears from happinesses!! I knew right then what I saw in the mirror after Dr. Papadakis was done, was real. I had finally gotten my Hollywood Movie Star Smile. The smile I had been trying to achieve for the past 15 years, and it was PERFECT! Every place I went, people constantly complemented my smile. When I left his office I felt like a super star. Dr. Papadakis has truly changed my life, and I am so thankful I decided to give him a chance, he gave me the smile of my dreams! I cannot say enough good things about them. I have been going to both Dr. Papakakis and Dr. Gonzalez since practically they opened their practice, based on a recommendation from a friend. Needless to say, I am still a patient for more than 15 years. Both Drs. Papadakis and Gonzalez are not only great dentists, they are patient, personable and willing to take the time to explain your options. This holds true whether you are there for a routine cleaning or more extensive work. I even brought my Aunt and Mother from out of town when they needed very difficult and extensive dental work. Both are happy and even better their regular dentists are really impressed with the results.

I went to this office to get a Doctor checkup and after the checkup we spoje about replacing and old crown. They did a horrible job with the crown, so bad that it broke in less than 3 months.For the most part everything was going well service wise, till i was introduced to one of the name on the door. Dr. Gonzalez. In all my years i never met a service provided so condescending and dismissive of her client needs and concerns. When my crown broke i went to the office to get the issue resolve and lDr. Gonzalez told me too bad your crown broke, but the most we can do is create an appointment for you. After deciding that this was an emergency i and of course that she didnt care i took the appointment for that same day at 6pm. 10 minutes after i left the office she had one of her staff call me and tell me that there will be not appointment. This lady actually pointed at her camera system and say im recording you ... And this was without me saying anything to her. After all they did such of bad job with the crown that a whole broke open on the back while i was brushing. I ask her very nicely all i want is for you guys to fix the issue you created. she basically told me off and i had no choice but to go to another doctor to take care of the problem.

Okay, where do I start? I have been seeing Dr. Medina for 10 years now ever since I came here from Puerto Rico. Ive followed him everywhere, literary, and every time I speak about him I always says thats been my most faithful relationship ever. I can change my barber and hairdresser and I can change my manicurist. I can change anyone expect my dentist.My experiences with previous dentists back home were not the best at all. They were rather thraumatuazing specially after knowing the last dentist who took care of me was arrasted for abusing one of his patients. A minor!!!Dr. Medina not only is dedicated to professionalism, he makes sure that I know all my alternatives and which work best for me and my lifestyle. The man is incredible and the team he works with is simply amazing! From the moment you walk in, everyone is friendly. I always feel welcomed AND they always remember my name. I work with people as well and I can appreciate those small details that make a huge difference.My teeth were eh just okay, but I wanted them to be perfect and honestly I never thought Id be able to have the perfect smile. It created a lot self esteem issues, I wouldnt smile in pictures and I wouldnt even let people see me smile at all. Dr. Medina brought up the idea of crowns and veneers to achieve the perfect smile and of course the first thing I said was thats going to be way too expensive and I cant afford that. He said to think about it while he worked on my 3 root canals (which were PAINLESS and I would do it all over again without a doubt) to prepare the area. Little did I know that after a whole year of working on my credit, I got approved for CareCredit credit card and after a week of that he started working on my perfect smile.The process was not long and it was not painful at all. He explained everything detail by detail and let nothing unexplained. The day my implants were ready I was beyond excited and I could not wait. He did tell me to be ready to smile a lot more. Once he was finished I couldnt help myself!!! I was happy, I was emotional, I wanted to cry and I wanted to laugh.The idea of having perfect teeth was no longer a dream. It was my reality and all thanks to Dr. Medina and the incredible team he works with. I do not regret doing it and I highly recommend him. I highly recommend him for being a great dentist, friendly and understanding.I highly recommend Papadakis and Gonzalez.Chris Martinez
