Took a chance and walked in on a random day because it was super close to the office and my nails looked gross. I have been going back for several months now! Nancy does an incredible job, does not rush through it and my gels last forever. I really appreciate that she does not use an electric device to remove the polish. I love my nails!

The worker was a sweet person but service was not good. Left marks on my skin.. Patchy, used the same stick for the wax through out the process, and did not ask if the temperature of the wax was comfortable for my skin before proceeding with lines of wax - it was so hot that my body jerked from the pain

I love the attention I received in this place! I didn’t have an appointment but a wonderful lady called Blanca did her best to accommodate me and give me a great basic manicure. (For a great price ~$16!!) The place was clean and cozy.However, I would definitely recommend to add a sign outside, since the salon is in the second floor and the door is tiny.Will come back again!

Beautiful decor and location. They always greet you and treat you like you were the only customer there. They talk to you before they even start on your hair to make sure we are on the same page. I have always known Elite Day Spa to be an authentic European waxing spa. I was happily surprised to find out that this famous wax center also has amazing massage therapists! Had a great sports massage here that really helped my muscles. I’m a D1 athlete so I often get massages to help heal my muscles faster. I’ve never had such an awesome massage before! If you need a great facial, effective electrolysis or beautiful eyebrows, this is the place and Elizabeth is the person. Elizabeth is a true master of her craft. Her full of understanding of the skin and ability to find a unique approach to each skin type is amazing. Not only the skin looks younger and healthier right after her facials, the entire process is very relaxing and enjoyable. She literally rescued my skin from a complete disaster with her amazing facials and electrolysis sessions.

Gel manicure and regular pedicure survived 1 week doing all work (cooking, cleaning, laundry, packing, etc.) in a beach rental home with 3 small kids, plus daily beach and ocean time. They look as good today as they did when I walked out of the salon! Julie is professional, efficient and amazing. The salon is beautiful and clean. Cant wait to go back!

While in New York recently I needed a haircut before a last minute business meeting and Elite was a perfect decision.The entire place is clean, friendly, and professional, and my stylist Agnes was amazing. She was quick, but also took the time to really listen to what I wanted, made sure my hair was perfect before letting me go, and the price was great.I find that it rare these days for salons to take that kind of care with their one-time clientele. You wont regret choosing Elite and, while I only got a haircut, they do offer a range of services for men and women alike at fair prices.

Been going to Mara for waxing for over 8 years now, only woman I trust! Always efficient and fast with very minimal pain. Im in and out in less than 15 min. Amazing manicures and pedicures as well. Definitely recommend making an appointment but walk ins are welcome and wait time isnt long.

I come here for waxing treatments and hair cuts. They have really helped give me a great shape for my eyebrows and I could not be happier! They are just perfect every time. I have a low tolerance for pain so believe me when I say Mara does an almost painless waxing experience! As for haircuts, I have thick curly hair that is difficult to manage. But the stylists at Elite always do a great job and help make my hair more manageable!

Elite is my favorite place for waxing and blow drys! In midtown manhattan it is hard to find such an amazing place that has it all. Mara is the wax expert that will you keep laughing the entire appointment! I have been coming to Elite for almost 10 years now and don’t want to go anywhere else. Some may disagree, but I feel like Brazilian waxing is a pretty intimate experience, and Mara makes the whole thing very comfortable and less dreadful ;)

After moving I found myself in the city and happened upon Elite’s New location for a quick drop in manicure. Not only did I see Mara, the queen of waxing, still doing what she does best, but I discovered they are the best at manicures as well. An additional unnecessary wax was pushed on me to make them some extra money, which was a total turn off. Additionally, my eyebrow wax left me with one eyebrow in great shape and the other with a weird dip I am unable to fix except with makeup. However, it was easily the most painless facial wax I ever had; I was just very unhappy with the results.

ELECTROLYSIS HAIR REMOVALI am only giving three stars because the technician is very skilled with the job. Ive had many electrolysis sessions in different locations and had some technicians who left my skin irritated and red for few days. The electrolysis technician at Elite spa did not irritate my skin as much as others did and was able to remove all visible hair in the treatment area.I saw the electrolysis deal from Elite Spa on Groupon. When I made an appointment, the representative told me I do not need to buy on Groupon and they will honor the price. The price of two 30 minutes sessions is listed as 59 dollars on Groupon. However, they charge additional 20 dollars for needles fee. I agreed and paid 79 dollars with credit card for two 30 minutes session. After the first session, I decided to give her a tip of 15 dollars for both sessions in advance. When I came back for the second session, They had forgotten that Ive already paid for a two sessions package and did not record anywhere that I did, and asked to pay. She kept me at the desk for 10 minutes asking me to show the Groupon voucher which I do not have since Ive paid it in person and embarrassed me in front of other customers in the shop. Then, she demanded for a tip when Ive already gave her for two sessions in advance which, of course, she does not remember.Here, also keep in mind that tips for the electrolysis technician almost arent optional because she will literally shove a letter envelope with her name written on it to demand to give her a tip.Heres picture of transaction on my credit card in case you (shop owner/manager) need to verify my purchase.
