The next morning after speaking to Louis, we set a date and time to pick up our cat Satori who passed away unexpectedly at home.Satori was picked up by Rob, who was patient as he waited outside for my fiancé. Rob answered all the questions my fiancé asked. We paid in full with the option for hand delivery. We were informed that it would take up to 8 to 12 days.Satori was picked up on Sunday September 19, 2021 and was returned home to us on Monday September 27, 2021. They were honest and true to their word. Her ashes were placed into a Cedar box urn with a gold plate and her name engraved.Im very grateful. Thank you.

The box my dog is in is absolutely beautiful, it came in a very nice wooden box with a plaque with her name on it, which was inside a velvet pouch. I cannot recommend them enough.

Perfect and super fast service. We called at 9 am and at 11 am same the body was already taken. Impressed as fast service is a rare thing in NYC. Also, the prices are more than reasonable.

My chihuahua passed on peacefully in his sleep...during Covid restrictions. Louis came in the morning and very respectfully picked up my beloved pup wrapped in his favorite blanket with flowers. Louis treated his body with dignity. I just received his ashes in a wooden box with a brass plate and his paw print. I was extremely pleased with how well everything was handled. My Beloved, Freddy passed just a couple of weeks ago. I called Pet Haven the morning he passed and they came to my residence to retrieve his body shortly after we spoke. They were kind and showed empathy and understanding of my loss. He gave me a moment to bid farewell to my fur baby. My Freddy was cremated and his Urn was returned to me within 7 days as promised. Still waiting for my pets ashes it has been over a month. Ive texted and called the number given and no response I asked them to send it to my address he asked me to send him my address via text message I did and my dogs ashes were still sent to an address that was not mine. no one picks up the phone and no one returns any messages.Also, I requested an autopsy which they “claim” they can do but every time I brought up or text the subject of autopsy they ignore that question as well.

Our 11 year Old dog died on a Sunday afternoon. Our vets was closed and I was frantic to find a place that was open on the weekend and could pick up our Star. I’m so glad we found Pet Haven! They were quick, professional and exceedingly kind. And the price was much less than I was expecting! Another place I called wanted to add $200 just to pick up, but PetHaven was $250 including a pick up at our place in Brooklyn and shipping our dogs ashes to us in a wooden box. I recommend them 100%

They were so kind and thoughtful through the whole process, Extremely caring during such a difficult time, they always kept in touch with me and my wife because Losing ur best friend in this difficult time it is not easy and in top of that it was a delayed from usps because of insufficient address that made it more painful for me and my wife. Our beloved Noir passed away 2 weeks ago, and I called Pet Haven to see if I can have him cremated. Louis was able to send someone to our home that afternoon to have Noir picked up. We received Noirs ashes 7 days later, and wow. We are writing in this time of tremendous sorrow to thank Pet Haven for the unbelievable respect they showed towards our little girl Nina. During this incredible hardship and in the midst of the a most trying period in our country I cant hardly find the words to describe our gratitude to Louis. He not only showed patience with our indecisiveness but, made it easier for us to make the correct decisions for our baby girl. The video he sent us was so very reassuring we knew we made the correct choice bringing her to Pet Haven plus it helped bring us some comfort and hope. The Johnny Carson segment clip with Jimmy Stewart caught us completely off guard and was one of the most thoughtful actions that could have been given during this time of grieving. Deviated is an understatement but his kindness was infectious & well needed during such a traumatic time.He explained the process, packages and pricing in a very respectful manor, taking into consideration my feelings. (I was well pleased with the price and the service they provided.)Q even reached out to me a few days later to inquire how I was doing and let me know when to expect my delivery. The delivery came when expected, in a beautiful wooden box that was wrapped with bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts around it and placed neatly into a shipping box.Thank you again Q from Pet Haven. We didnt have a lot of contact with Pet haven because we went through instavet which i suppose has an agreement with them, when our tinkerbell passed peacefully at home I called insta vet and they were wonderful they were very sympathetic and went over different types of cremations offered. The funeral director from Pet Haven called and made arrangnments for tinker to be picked up. About a week later Tinker came home in a simple but beautiful urn and a frame wtih her paw print and beautiful saying and a place to put her picture. Honestly it was heartwarming we really felt that tinker was treated with respect. Thank you so much for easing a difficult time! Also the cost was affordable!!

Louis is one of the most genuine sincere kindest people you could work with when grieving the loss of a pet. He goes above and beyond to accommodate your every need with loving care. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. He has services that will pick up your pet also if you can not get to him or if it’s a weekend. Kind and supportive animal loving man. Choose him. You and your loved one will be cared for in a most special way.

I was so happy with the service from Pet Haven. At a very difficult time they were incredibly sensitive, caring and empathetic. We lost our 11 year old lab overnight and they treated him with care and respect. They were also very responsive and came to pick him up very quickly which we appreciated, given we had children at school who were very upset. Highly recommended.

Louis and Quentin returned my call quickly and compassionately. Our turtle Speedy was picked up within an hour and her remains were returned to us a few days later in a lovely wooden box. Home pickup and delivery was such an incredible help to us. This is the kind of service you never want to think about needing, but knowing its there when you need it gives me great peace of mind.

Pet Haven were tremendous for us – our dog died at home in his sleep, and they were kind, sympathetic and gentle when they collected him, and again wonderfully empathetic when we collected his ashes. My friend went to pick up her ashes in Coney Island and I live in Manhattan and I accidentally gave him 20 dollarhs extra and he didn’t say nothing he gave me a receipt with a paid receipt on it but not the amount ,

I highly recommend Pet Haven. A friend lost her dog a few months ago and Pet Haven came to her apartment and euthanized her dog before taking her for cremation. I was there for emotional support. Pet Havens employee was so kind and gentle towards my friends grief and towards her little one. I was truly impressed with the compassion of this employee. Two weeks ago my dog unexpectedly passed away at home and I asked my friend for Pet Havens phone number. Again, a really wonderful employee came to pick up my precious dog. The care and compassion of both of these employees was impressive. Our dogs ashes arrived today with her plaster paw print and with a kind hand written sympathy card. Im so grateful! I was so blessed and so honored to meet Mr Louis, on Monday May 11th I had to rush my Moomoo to Animal Medical Center, I received the news that was unbelievable heartbroken I dont want to go into the details. I had to say goodbye to my Moomoo. My mom was a Pekingese who would have been 18 years old in September 2020 this year. My friend recommend Pet Haven. When I contact them, Mr. Louis was understanding, so kind and he shared with me that he was a 🐕 Lover, it was difficult for him & his wife when they had to say goodbye to their beloved. Im so pleased the love they have shown for my Moomoo, I had my Moomoo back with me he was cremated that Sunday May 17🥰. Had a very good experience with Pet Haven. Professional services, compassionate staff, and reasonable prices. My dogs ashes were returned in a very elegant box of a polished dark wood with a gold engraved plaque. A big difference from my past experience with their competitor that packaged the ashes in a cookie tin.

Our chihuahua, Taco, of 16 years, passed in the middle of the night last week. The first cremation service we called were unsympathetic and it didnt feel right to send Taco off with them. I then called Pet Haven. The man who picked up the phone (I am terrible with names) was genuinely sympathetic and worked at a way faster pace than expected. I had called pet haven at 6:30am and he picked up taco (pick up is included in the price!!) by 8:30am. He informed us the process usually takes about a week and thats exactly what it took. He returned Taco (drop off included in the price as well), in a beautiful wooden urn.. (that is also included in the price), accompanied by a cremation certificate. We trusted Taco was in good hands. If youre in a sad position of needing these services, Pet Haven is most definitely the place to go with.

Very good services! Very patient ! and very gentle to my cat, and around 7-10days I have my cats ashes back! It comes with a nice wooden box and some documents show the day when it cremated.

Louis and Irene were amazing when it came to cremating my beloved cat, Owens. They offered great communication, sensitivity and care through the whole process. The whole thing took under two weeks from when they picked him up until I was told that he was ready. Considering it was Christmas week, I think that is pretty fast. His remains were placed in a small wooden box, which I thought was a nice touch. I highly recommend them. Thank you again! ❤️

I spoke to Quentin (Q) last night after finding my cat deeply asleep at home. He was so empathetic, so respectful. I did not know what to do, as this is the last thing you’re thinking of. My cat was a happy cat, he just passed away in his sleep after 10 years of a happy life. I have not receive the ashes yet as it just happened las night but his fast response to come over from Long Island City to Washington Heights at 1am (night after Thanksgiving) its impressive and shows you how serious he takes his job. My little angel Teddy pass away at Aug 4th Sunday late afternoon at home. I was very sad, I dont know what to do only crying. I was very lucky My good friend Anna help me look up the Vet office or Hospital can take my baby but no one open or can take the body. Only Pet Haven respond to our call and coming to my home only take them about an hour. They are responsive and provided quick service. Highly recommended.

Had a very harrowing experience in having to choose to euthanize my dog MIA.Calling Louis at Pet Haven was the best thing that i did. Although I was not familiar with his set up in doing things He reassured me that all would be done correctly and it was. He kept in contact thru out and always showing empathy for my situation. I would not hesitate to call him in the future if needed.

After a loss of a pet, the last thing you want to think about is the cremation. I saw the reviews online and decided to give it a try. Louis (the owner) was very respectful & helpful. Hes been doing this for 20 some odd years. He picked up my dogs body (which was kept at animal medical center) & dropped off his ashes at my house. The ashes came in a nice wooden box. the price was decent & it included a video. However the video quaity was not sharp & there was too much movement on the video. I could not tell if it was indeed my dog on the video or not. Overall, I had a good experience & I would recommend pet haven.

Last week, I had the very upsetting experience of having one of my oldest dogs pass away at home. Pet Haven made the experience a little bit bearable. They came to my house and picked up my dog within a very short amount of time and the driver was very sympathetic to my loss. I was told I would get the ashes back within seven to ten days, I just received them today, and they came in a beautiful box. Overall, I am very pleased with the services of Pet Haven and would definitely recommend them.

We had to have our 14 year old dog suffering from kidney failure euthanized and I contacted Instavet for at home euthanasia. They arranged the cremation through Pet Haven. The employee who arrived at our home immediately after euthanasia was kind and sympathetic allowing us a last bit of time with our pet. Yesterday we received our dogs ashes in a lovely wooden box with her name and her paw print along with a certificate verifying cremation. I am very pleased with the service.

I am so thankful for Pet Haven! They have been so amazing when we needed them the most. It only took one phone call and then we were able to spend our time starting to heal from our loss instead of having to run around taking care of the arrangements. Not only did the guys at Pet Haven handle everything for us, but they were also extremely compassionate, caring and respectful. It certainly brought us some comfort during a difficult time with an unfamiliar process. I really dont know how we would have done this without them. I highly recommend their services as they are fast, comprehensive and affordable. They picked up our Parker that evening and returned his ashes in about a week in a nice urn.

I would never use this service !!!! These people do not care about animals!!! Today I witnessed the most disturbing incident in my entire life... A car belonging to pet haven had their car parked in Manhattan a horrible stench was coming from the car and blood was dripping from the trunk. It was like a scene from a horror movie. I looked in the window to see if there was anything inside. I know it was a car belonging to Pet Haven b/c there was invoice slips all over the front seat of the car. We called the police and they discovered bags of dead animals in the trunk of the pick up truck!!!! It was parked there for 2 days with these poor decaying animals in the heat!! You can’t even imagine the SMELL! They don’t care about animals.. I wouldn’t want thes people anywhere near my deceased pet

Having to call different crematoriums after a pet passes away is not an easy thing to do however Pet Haven made it a bit more bearable. Not only were the prices reasonable but the owner was the first person I spoke with that expressed sympathy and said sorry for your loss. If Im ever in this situation again, this will be the first place I call.

I really do not know how many stars to give. I had to bring my dog to a vet that I had never dealt with, because he died in a snowstorm and I had to go to the closest place. I guess Pet Haven is the place they deal with. I brought him in on Jan 24 and picked him up on Feb 3. The weird thing is and I know its going to sound funny but the ashes were not fully ashes. There was a lot of pieces mixed in with the ashes. When I called to ask about it, the gentleman said I could bring them in again to fix it.Of course I was not going to do that. He said they do it the old fashioned way and not with new big machines. I just hope that what I was given is actually my dog. I was not offered the chance to go and see it happen, not that I would have anyway. I do not know if I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very upsetting. It took more than 10 days for them to get back to me. I had requested a private cremation and return of the ashes. The expected wait for them to contact you to arrange for delivery of the ashes , as per vet, is 3-4 days. They called me 11 days after the body was taken. After 11 days I couldnt bring myself to trust that they would be cremating my pet individually. I called the owner (Louis) who became arrogant and claimed I should trust him given of his reputation / track record (?). The vet was disappointed as well with the handling of my pets remains. I see my experience was similar to Jacobis (previous review).DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Youd think anyone who has lost a pet knows what its like to lose that special piece of you and youd think that a family owned business dealing in pet passings would be even more understanding and caring. At least, thats what I expected.My kitty who had been with me through so much over the past 13 years and who meant more to me that any other person in my life passed during the holiday break. Pet Haven told me it would only take a week to do the cremation and send me her ashes. Its now over a month later and she is still not back home to me.After the initial week, I called and asked what was the status, they told me that no one with that kind of info was there and they would call me back the next day. So, after 4 days I called back and was told I would have my kitty back home in 2 to 3 days. Then 2 weeks later I call again, and was told there was an office error and she had not been shipped out yet. You mean to tell me her ashes had been sitting there for 2 weeks and no one ever thought to call me and update me on the status?! Seriously?They told me they would have her back to me again, in 2 to 3 days. Its now been another week, I called today and still have no idea whats going on because no one is picking up the phone. I need to grieve, I need to mourn and I cant do that until I have her back home. Its been over a month since I lost her and I have gotten nothing but more pain, and more confusion from Pet Haven. I have gotten no sympathy, no help, no answers.I just want my kitty back, and then I will never return to Pet Haven and I will never recommend them to anyone. Dealing with them has been torture.Please Pet Haven, just send my kitty home.

On november 5th 2018 @7:48am I lost my best friend my son my fur baby papi. unfortunately I wasnt in the right state of mind to make these arrangements for my pup-pup. my husband went back & forth with a man name eli who was very nice & sincere. I did have a chance to meet luis who came to pick up my baby. we had him cremated. & from the minute luis walked through my door he was amazing caring & sympathetic to me & my family. he gave us enough time to say our final goodbyes to our fur baby. I have been devastated since he past away. today I received my fur baby ashes & I still wasnt & wont be ready for a life without papi. but I would like to thank luis for his compassion towards papi myself & family & our lost. THANK YOU for his paw print I could see his funny looking nails. his forever resting wooden urn. everything was & is perfect. mentally & emotionally I wasnt ready to receive him today. I wish I could have my papi back but I guess this is as close as I can be with him. I just want to say THANK YOU once again to this company the whole entire staff & especially luis for his sympathy. from papis entire family, WE THANK YOU!!

Delivered my cat as soon as possible but very thankful i took a paw print before my cat died because the paw print came back awful , it dosent even look like a paw print seriously disappointing . Other than the paw print i would definitely recommend this to any one who needs a pet crematory who delivers fast and picks up immediately

My dog of twelve years, Hassle, passed away two weeks ago. My father called pet haven, and Luis retrieved his body to be cremated. I woke up the next day, and asked my father about the man that came to picked up my best friend. He remarked that Luis picked up Hassle with the upmost care and offered his sympathies, as he layed him gently to his truck. It was such a simple gesture that went a long way, in a trying time. A couple of days later we recieved the ashes and his name came in a box enscribed Hustle. I called Pet Haven and Luis picked up to ask about the incorrect inscription. Initially expecting a hefty price for a box Luis asked for the dogs correct name and said it would take a week for the guy to write his name in a new box. Lo and behold a week later, the box came with his name. Every other service would have charged us for a new box, but Luis provided it free of charge. My family is eternally grateful for Luis kindness and generosity. Do yourself a favor and use this service. You will not regret it.

I would definitly recomment Pet haven services to all my friends and family who has pets! They are truly what they advertise and more.. Luis is caring and helpful he came to picked up my beloved cat Bon Bon on Tuesday and I got him back in a beautiful wooden box with their condolences card on Friday !
