I have been going to Dr. Glass for nearly three years now, and he has made a huge impact for me. After years of running, I had to stop due to severe back pain. I have been going to see Dr. Glass for a few months, and his adjustments have made a major difference in my daily life. I,had spinal surgery 20 years ago. Most recently during the pandemic. I’ve been going to Dr. Glass for about 11 months because of a neck discomfort. After 1 month, my lower left neck discomfort had subsided. Before I started my treatments with Dr. Glass, I had severe arm, shoulder, and back pain. My name is Joe and Im 30 years old. I came to Dr. Glass out of desperation. In February, I experienced a cluster of nystagmus vertigo attacks every time I would fall asleep. They lasted for two straight days followed by 3 months of feeling off balance followed by MORE random attacks lasting for 2 weeks in May. I was always a stomach sleeper and this happened to me in the middle of the night at first. Ive gone to countless doctors and have had every test possible, never leading to an actual diagnosis or conclusion. With this came extreme anxiety, which Ive never had before, and at times it was crippling. Since then, Ive slept on my back and side and have been experiencing sleeping issues as well. I was then diagnosed with sleep apnea during all the testing but I believe it to be unrelated. Occasional palpitations as well as digestive issues. The balance issue would frequently leave me with no appetite. I lost around 20 lbs in a short amount of time and havent been this weight in 10 years. Right off the bat he was extremely thorough and actually caring and understanding of my symptoms and issues. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate and explained that hes seen my kind of situation before and after examining me, he was confident that he could help me. Nothing was a guarantee but I decided to go for it after literally trying everything else. My head had a forward lean to it and my current posture was causing my head to weigh almost 30lbs when it should weigh 12. My cervical spine curved to the side, so did my thoracic and my lumbar. My spine was misaligned all the way down. Dr. Glass believed that in situations like mine, the Vagus nerve could be irritated or compromised in some way. He explained to me the importance of spinal alignment and along with doing my own research, it all made perfect sense.Since starting treatment, Ive felt so much better. Im still not 100% but miles away from where I was. My neck pain is gone, my digestive problems stopped and have not had another vertigo attack. Absolutely thrilled to date with the progress Ive been making here at Manhattan Upper Cervical. Within only a month of receiving treatments my neck, arms and shoulders are moving much more freely. Surprisingly the discomfort in my right hip Ive expeienced for years totally disappeared! I was also not expecting to have a pain-free monthly cycle for the first time in years. And this was simply as a result of the treatments alleviating my right hip pain. I seriously could not get through a cycle without taking pain medication and did not have to take any this time! What a welcome relief. Everything IS connected and thank goodness for that. Thank you Dr. Glass.

I want to start off by saying that Matt Glass is a super nice person. This is not personal. But, as someone who has endured a lot of neck pain/headaches over the years, I appreciate honest reviews.During our first visit, I felt kind of pressured into committing and buying the full package of 26 sessions. After that, I tried to convince myself that it was working given that I had just dropped 2.8K (about $100 for each session lasting about 7-8 minutes). The truth is that I felt a lot of relief after the very first session, but not so much after that. My tension headaches came back after 15 sessions. When I asked why I was getting these headaches again, I was not really given any explanation. The response was that the spine is unpredictable. The lack of understanding of what was going on with my body was a little frustrating.We eventually stopped at 20 sessions because it was clearly not working. After a 2K investment, I am pretty much back to where I started. This was a big $ investment (not accepted by insurance), and also a significant time investment (2-3 appts per week take a toll, especially if you dont live downtown). I keep a regular stretching and yoga practice, and it is improving.This treatment clearly works for some (per the reviews), but not for everyone. It did not work for me. The Denneroll helps a lot, but this is an at-home exercise. I suggest that you ask as many questions as you can, and dont get pressured into committing. This is a big investment.

Upper Cervical Chiropractic care has made a big difference in how I feel. I no longer feel dizzy when I change positions quickly. I was impressed at how my posture change in just the first 6 weeks of treatment. Dr Glass is a caring doctor with a gentle touch. I recommend Dr Matt Glass and the upper-cervical style of chiropractic. Dr Glass is one of only a handful of doctors in the Northeast who is trained in what I consider to be the more advanced style of upper-cervical technique. The adjustments he performs on the neck are done by hand, as opposed to some other styles which use instruments. He also pays close attention to the whole body, not just the cervical area, as some other styles of upper-cervical may do. Its too bad there arent more doctors trained in this approach as I think it could be helpful for almost everyone, even those without any pain or neck issues.

After a year of PT and various doctors dismissing my pain without even looking at the MRI and xray images, i came to Manhattan Upper Cervical Chiropractic and finally found someone who looked at my images instead of solely relying on the radiologist report. I felt my pain was validated and supported by Dr Glasss assessment. After only a month of treatments I already have improved range of motion and more predictable pain. I feel optimistic and excited about my future progress.

I was feeling a tremendous amount of pain and tension in my upper back and neck area, from years of very physical activities like playing football, intense weight lifting and total neglect to my body. I went to my doctor who sent me to the back specialist who in turn set me up with physical therapy. Now I have done PT before and know its just a trainer giving you stretches and exercises to do. I Love Dr. Glass. Background: Many years ago I had a big neck trauma that left me in constant pain and an inability to raise my left ar without a significant increase in pain. It got so bad I had to get an epidural some years back. That gave me some relief but the pain was always there in the background. I was diagnosed with an upper cervical herniation, spinal lesions and a bone tumor. The pain was so bad that I couldnt get out of bed for 4 months. After seeing Dr. Glass regularly, I went from not being able to do a thing to working full time and even exercising again. My posture is very improved and the dizziness has significantly diminished. Upper cervical chiropractic care differentiates itself from tradional care because it is very gentle on the neck. This is very important to me since I have had a herniated disk. Everyone is really nice too. Highly recommend!

I’ve been suffering from chronic neck pain for years. Through various physical therapies, I got the worst of the pain under management but eventually reached a plateau with my treatment. Although I was well enough to get through my day, I still had constant tension in my neck that I could not seem to eliminate no matter how diligently I tried. I went to Dr Glass out of desperation and as a measure of last resort. Only because I saw an advertisement that he doesn’t do any dangerous cracking or popping like most chiropractors. I was incredibly skeptical and asked a lot of questions. He answered them all patiently then provided my first treatment. It was so gentle I barely felt he had done anything at all, which only made my skepticism grow. But he told me to go home and that I might feel certain effects of the treatment after the first time. Everything he said I would feel, I felt. Again, I couldn’t really believe that such a gentle treatment had produced direct results. So I kept going back. Following a concussion I started experiencing inner ear pressure, hearing loss, tinnitus, and dizziness. I sought treatment from three ENT specialists and a neurologist. I was prescribed steroids and diuretics and placed on a restricted diet none of which helped. It was very discouraging. My name is Lina, and Im 55 years old. After a sequence of falls (6 falls), I began to feel constant pain on my body, mostly on my neck, shoulder and arm on the right side. I also had extreme pain in my knees. I experienced a numb and tingling sensation on my fingers on both sides, and sometimes my toes, as well as pressure over my ribs and hips. My right elbow could not fully extend. I found Dr. Glass through YouTube, and I became very excited due to the reviews I had heard of him. I received a very positive response when I called, and was immediately able to schedule an appointment. Ive been working with Dr. Glass for about 3 weeks so far. It is difficult to know where to start when considering Dr. Glass and his practice.When I first came to Dr. Glass’ practice I felt rather hopeless about my “condition”; I had been suffering from migraines and headaches for four years and a terrible exacerbation in the last eight months. I was living with 4/10 pain on an average day, and a 7/10 pain on the worst day. I had come to him after seeing approximately six separate medical doctors who offered various diagnoses including migraine syndrome, osteoarthritis, and, at one miserable appointment, Multiple Sclerosis.This investigation of my health cost my insurance company $34,000 USD. And yet, I had no answers. I called Dr. Glass after I had undergone upper cervical treatment back home prior to relocating back to NYC in April 2017, for loss of cervical curve in my neck, which was causing all kinds of nerve/sleep/pain issues and for which I have been suffering with for about 10 years undiagnosed. After having visited several chiropractors for stiffness and pressure on the rear portion of my head and neck with little or no success. I decided to visit Dr. Glass. Dr. Glass has worked with me to make major adjustments to my posture and spine in a very gentle way. I feel more energy as a result of better alignment, and cant help but think it will have long term effects to my overall health.

After visiting a half dozen doctors with various specialties and three acupuncturists, Matt increased my wellbeing where each of his predecessors failed completely. Prior to visiting him I endured several years of daily neck, back, and pubic pain along with poor digestion. The pubic pain and digestion were the most concerning to me. Happily, my symtpoms have improved meaningfully. More happily, those ailments appear to not be suppressed by Matts mode of care, upper cervical chiropractic, but their causes meaningfully corrected. My neck and back pain have meanwhile dissappeared. I now walk upright, or close to it, without strain for the first time. Ever. I came to Dr. Glass with a neck injury that resulted in subtle headaches, brain fog, deadening of the senses, loss of sensation in some parts of my face/head. Id tried regular medical doctors, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and even several other chiropractors. Some helped to varying degrees, but only Dr. Glass has made significant progress on these most subtle symptoms. For having such powerful and lasting effects, the technique he uses is unexpectedly subtle - he is the only chiropractic doctor who hasnt needed to crack or twist my neck. He just applies varying degrees of light pressure on a very specific combination of areas in the neck/face/head, and somehow that gets just the right muscles to release and balance out in just the right way. Its pretty unbelievable how simple it sounds, but I guess his technique and more importantly his expertise on knowing exactly what areas to target make all the difference here.I dont need to know the secret - just happy that it seems to be working after the many many different things Ive tried. Im only 10% through my treatment program, and will check back in once Im done. Rachel is also super friendly and helpful in taking care of you and scheduling appointments. Cant recommend them enough - even if you have issues that seem completely unrelated to the head area.

Im really happy that I found Dr. Glass, after a few visits Im sleeping better, breathing better, 95% of the pain is gone!. I dont feel like Im carrying a 20 pound dumbbell on my right shoulder. Before I met Dr. Glass, I was told by three different doctors that I needed surgery on my spine. I refused to believe that. I knew there had to be another way, at least thats what I hoped. After my first visit with Dr. Glass, I knew I had found the right doctor. He listened as I spoke about my back problems, and as I cried about how much pain I was in. He listened to every word I said. I was in a bad car accident in 2011, and have had back pain and issues with my spine ever since. I more recently found out that I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back. I sought out Dr. Glass when I was having a terrible flare up and could barely walk. The gentleness, yet effectiveness of Dr. Glasss adjustments have been so so helpful, and only after a few treatments I felt significant relief! Hi how are you everyone after I had a car accident back on 2016 I started having a lot of pain on my back then my head started acting up too ,my upper back was making sounds and it was always popping and cracking in my spine I felt fevers muscle spasms fatigues etc.i went to regular Therapy for a year and it see just a regular chiropractor nothing was working for me , I felt terrible everyday I couldnt go to sleep until 3am every night i had to run to the hospital a lot it was a nightmare for real I was always under painkillers I really was thinking my life was over, I Didn’t know what else to do , I went to my country do some tests there and I found out I have just a big misalignment on my neck and spinal cord then I started to look for an for upper back chiropractor and I thank god I found ones of the best ones And I thank him so much because only after my 14 visit Im almost healthy again On a scale of 1 to 100 I’m feeling at 80% already and feeling blessed again so if you have any type of back problem and you have been in my shoes and have tried everything too this doctor can be a good chance for you to get better , I promise you is something you will not regret

Earlier this year, I started to suffer from daily migraines, TMJ and chronic fatigue. I went on a world tour visiting every doctor imaginable to figure out why I was experiencing this pain. Most of the doctors immediately pushed heavy medication and antidepressants on me instead of getting to the root of the problem.After months of cutting out all gluten/dairy/caffeine/alcohol, going to multiple neurologists and attending physical therapy, I was still experiencing daily pain. My massage therapist mentioned that one of his clients had cured his migraines by going to Dr. Glass and I figured I might as well give it a try.I am now half way through my treatment and I would say that I am 75% better.
