Very very RUDE on Call.Very very very BAD Reception/Customer Service

Gramercy Cardiac Diagnostic Services deserves this rating because of the performance of the office staff and the long wait times for my two appointments. I would have given them 5 stars if I was only rating the technicians.I’m in their Manhattan office waiting room right now. I’ve been here 2 hours and 27 minutes. The latest word is it’ll be another 45 minutes. At my first appointment, I waited over an hour.They should have called to give me a choice to reschedule or to come in later in the day. Instead they told me when I got here. Since I was already here, all prepped, I decided to stay.They told me it was taking so long because they had two medically difficult patients before me. One with a stroke and other problems. I understand, but I think this problem could be avoided if they’d schedule more time for patients they should know will take two or three times as normal.Also, the nurse practitioner and secretary at my first appointment rushed me along, handed me papers without explaining them to me. I left not knowing what the tests were or why I needed them.I will update this after the test.

It is sad that as an ex-staff person I can read the only 7 reviews and and see that the only one that was true was the review of how this place sucks. They would have me try to get authorization for just about everyone for a PET scan even when I as not being a doctor could determine they didn’t need the scan. I was told each day I was there that they want more and more PET scans done. It was all for money. The majority of the staff of woman come there to gossip. This place really needs to be investigated.

My name is Marilyn Morales. I have had the pleasure of working with this company for two years. I am a front desk representatives at one of the four locations we have established back in 1991. Founder of the company Dr. Peter Klaus Rentrop worked very hard and closely with his peers and family to build such a strong establishment thats been running for about 25 years.He is very eager to learn and always willing to put in extra work where it is needed. He hired a great team with excellent interpersonal skills and who make things possible for this company. We all put the team effort in (together everyone achieves more) Dr. Peter Rentrop is very dependable , loyal, and responsible, and demonstrated consistent follow through on job tasks. He has also had a handful of such amazing doctors work along side with him to build it from ground up, as far as rental spaces and our stressing doctors. I would definitely encourage each any everyone of you if given the opportunity for employment to grab whats on the table.

They dont even deserve the star, but I couldnt post the below without checking a star. This company sucks!!!!!!!!!!This diagnostic center has the worst office staff. My husband was scheduled for a test on Thursday and they waited until Wednesday to pre-certify with the insurance company. The pre-cert manager had the wrong insurance # and couldnt be bothered to look a the insurance card. Then she also said that she could and would pre cert the procedure because the insurance co pre-cert department closed at 5 p.m. Guess what, I called the pre-cert dept at 8:30 p.m. and they were opened and told me that they are open 24/7. They are nothing but lazy a**es that just want to get paid to do absolutely nothing. then the manager calls my house an hour later to apologize and tell me that my husband could still go for the test. Do you really think that he would trust that they would not make him sit there for 4 hours before they took him in. Rest assure, I am also sending a letter to the New York State Medical association and the AMA about what took place. This is the problem with health care today. The quality of the help that the doctors hire. It is extremely sub par. Lesson learned, call the place a week before to be sure all pre-certification has been completed.

The care of the doctors and staff is deserving of 4 stars plus.
