I came today for a blood work, as I had the last 2 times. My papers were in the system but the clerk at the lab didnt want to allow me to do it because my oncologist is in Brooklyn. I am a Langone patient and all my doctors are part of Langone. She was rude, an unprofessional. She made me walk to the Tish building so I can have my blood work today. NO COMPASSION AT ALL. SHE SHOULD NOT DESERVED TI WORK IN A CANCER CENTER.

A mixed bag. My biggest complaint is that you get ZERO guidance as tohow to navigate the system and that it is very hard to get an appointment. After imaging, you first have to get a biopsy, then wait for the report, then get a surgeon, after the surgery you may need radiation and then finally an oncologist. But nobody tells you that for each of these steps, you need toget a different doctor each time. The entire time you wonder if all these delays are going to decrease your chances of getting rid of the cancer permanently. The place is terribly managed, not sure if they even care about making money.

My pathology report was upgraded from a benign lesion to invasive carcinoma and yet no one bothered to call and inform me about it. Make sure you follow up with them. Or, better yet, go to a different hospital.

Visited with Friend and noted they are really taking care of patients due to ride risk of covid. Excellent treatment and surprisingly quick. Id rate this clinic as one of the best in NYC.

SCAM!!! Stay far away from this place. They take your money and give you the runaround. I will be filing a dispute as they refuse to provide service or a refund and don’t return calls or ever answer the phone. No wonder why they advertise 24/7, you would think it’s to help you. Instead it’s to help themselves get rich.

Awful experience. The front desk is rude and useless. They treat you horribly and waste your time. They made me do a payment but didnt provide the service at the end. When I asked to be refunded nobody wanted to help and instead sent me to a different floor where no one wanted to help either. I ended up being charged, without the service due to their system error, and wasted 2 hours. Instead of apologizing for their mistake the front desk lady treated me as if I owe something

Pleasant personnel. Great Dr. Schnabel who is very professional and you can feel confident in her diagnosis. Long wait for appointments but worth the time. Waiting room very clean and relaxing. Valet parking.

4 hours later and still waiting to be seen. Totally overbooked, no space to wait, social distancing is a F-. Must be starving to make money. Never again!

The lack of ability to schedule appointments correctly and the amount of stress that the (multiple) errors cause is overwhelming. If you are so lucky as to have an appointment that isnt incorrectly scheduled, you will be waiting half of your life to actually see anyone. I have been going for over three months and I literally just cant stand it any more. Im switching to Sloane.

I had high expectation on NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center. But feel really disappointed with the lack of attention and care from the staffs and doctors. Appointment is often not kept on time, wait time are often 45 minutes to an hour. Too many patients for one doctor, appointment is often rushed. And you can never reach your doctor, calls are answered by an operator and transferred to a line where no one picks up. The last thing a cancer patient needs is this kind of added stress and feeling of lack of care and attention. Now I am wondering if I made the right decision coming to NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center.

Great experience. We came to NYU to be enrolled in a clinical trial under the care of Dr. Vamsidhar Velcheti. Everything from our initial appointment to my biopsy, to the trial paperwork to my bi- weekly treatments to ongoing scans has been smooth and very patient focused. Dr. Velcheti, his staff of study nurses and NP/PAs as well as Dr. Sabari have been great throughout. They have succeeded in making a difficult time less stressful.

I had a 12:30p appointment for some bloodwork at the Perlmutter Cancer Center on the 19th floor. I did not need to see a doctor. I just went for bloodwork. After waiting 30 mins, I went up to the front desk to see how much longer it would take. Only to find out that though I checked in, my labs requests had not been submitted. Another 30 mins went by before my doctors assistant to come talk to me to tell me that the nurse was just then going to be entering my requests and to give her another 5 minutes. Overall it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get bloodwork done that should have taken maybe 20 minutes. And if I had not gone to reception to find out what was the issue and why people who arrived after me were being called in before me, I would probably still be sitting there waiting...for hours. Very inefficient and upsetting experience. I would not choose to come here again. It was a waste of my time.
