***Update****After the original review Audicus reached out and gave a full refund. I wish that it was given before the review because this would not have been necessary.Original ReviewI purchased a hearing aid in hopes of hearing. There was a 45 day trial, in which I thought was good so that I could try them and see how they work for me. They became a hassle with itching my ear, falling out, and not fitting correctly. It’s difficult with glasses and a hearing aid going behind your ear. I’ve called a couple of times trying to find a solution and didn’t. They wanted me to purchase other things for itching. I was disappointed when I called to return and they immediately tell me they 45 day trial was up and wanted me to take a picture with the hearing aid in my ear. I argued that 45 days was not up, that it would be the actual day that I’m speaking to them. They were friendly and tried to be helpful until I wanted to return them. Oh she told me it was the 46 day. They will not honor their policy. I advise DO NOT PURCHASE from Audicus Hearing, New York, NY.

I really wanted a rechargeable hearing aid .My current Audiologist quoted me about $2,500 or so to upgrade from my current resound .The current aid was about 3 years old and I was getting excellent service from the firm that sold me . .Before I shelled out $2500 again ( left ear only) I googled and Audicus came up. I called and had a couple of great great conversations with Mathew . He answered all my question n from the app to shipping as I live in Canada . Once I got the hearing aid ( it took only about 10 days or so then Mollie took over .she was great talked me through a few issues on setting up with my Iphone especially streaming my calls .But once she told me what I needed to change it works like a charm .I have used hearing aids for about 6 years so the learning curve was relatively easy . Highly recommend .even with CAD exchange the hearing aid cost about $1100 less than what I would have to pay in Canada . By the way their auto setting on the app works so well I really dont need to use any of the features the app offers as it changes relatively easy to different environments

Great company, great hearing aids and wonderful customer support. Much better quality than the name brands that I tried and one third the cost. The Clara is a quality hearing aid. The customer support was wonderful. when you get your aids you are assigned a hearing specialist. Mine was Samantha. She was very knowledge and very helpful. At one point I sent my aids back for reprogramming for my special needs. It was very quick only 5 days from the time i mailed them. They added 5 days to my 30 day trial period. Im very satisfied with the Clara aids. They are high quality and have improved my hearing. Dont be afraid to purchase from Audicus. The hearings aids are high quality and customer service is excellent as is their money back guarantee.

My aunt asked me to go with her to Audicus for a hearing test. Shes had hearing aids since she was a teenager, but she wanted to try something new. Dr. Janet was great and my aunt has been loving this better looking aid. Audicus had really helpful customer service, too. So far really pleased!

I have been a Audicus customer for over 5 years and have had the best experience with them. They have provided me a set of hearing aids that work great. I tried some $7,000 + hearing aids from a local Dr and I like the Audicus Clara better. They just make my hearing better. The customer service is fantastic, always with a great attitude and very helpful. They are very prompt to provide what ever I need. I also have to credit who ever does their Tech support. When I call they immediately know who I am and don’t waste my time providing information I had provided in the past. Why can’t everyone do that?

The folks at Audicus have gave me my hearing back. Their professionalism, customer service, and products are singular. Before finding Audicus I took my time and looked into what was out there, after being quoted $7000 for a pair of hearing aids from a local clinic. The first thing I like to do when researching a big purchase is to see what others are saying. In this case, I would be careful when reading some of the other reviews on here. More often than not, the angry take out their frustrations and blame their personal issues on others, rather than taking responsibility for their situations. At the end of the day, we’re all just trying to take care of ourselves. It’s good to know their are companies out there like a Audicus it’s folks who really do care. Try them out. Audicus is totally groovy!! [Yes Im in my 60s, why do you ask?]Because of Menieres disease, I only need one hearing aid, but I need it to follow a very specific hearing loss curve. This requires accurate adjustment of a programmable hearing aid. Audicus offers such a hearing aid at a fraction of the cost quoted to me by several local hearing aid suppliers. Audicus used the results of my hearing test and adjusted the aid I bought from them perfectly, first time, no problems! Ive emailed and called customer support for guidance and they are always helpful and friendly.That was 18 months ago and my Audicus aid is still going strong!!I highly recommend Audicus. Getting this aid has changed my life. I now hear in stereo for the first time in 25 years. Research shows that correcting ones hearing loss actually protects the brain from the onset of dementia! Thats big; JUST DO IT!!!

An acquaintance of mine raved about his Audicus hearing aids. I paid attention, since he is wealthy and could afford any aid he wanted. I ordered a trail pair which came promptly. The hardware was excellent and easy to use - aids, charger, and remote.In the end I decided to pay more for the convenience of having a local professional and not having to mail back and forth, though Audicus response time was fast and their staff easy to reach and courteous. Perhaps theyll have local access in the future - Id be happy to switch to them.

Because of Audicus my choice of hearing aids has been a positive experience. In my opinion the cost was reasonable . Compared to other more expensive hearing aids I believe they are comparable and fit my hearing needs. The customer support is excellent and overall I’m satisfied and so is my wife, who can talk to me again.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! I was told by my local hearing specialist that hearing aids would run me $2,000 - $6,00 each. I was just going to live with my hearing loss at that point. Then I was told by a friend about Audicus so i checked them out. The Staff truly helps in all ways. From the sales team to the customer support team. They help me find the best product for me. They told me about there return policy and reminded me if its not a good fit for me then I have time to send it back. They even told me that my hearing loss was not that bad. They made me feel good during the whole process. I ended up returning the product and was refunded my money quickly . I forgot to mentioned i only payed $575.00 and the product was amazing. Only reason I sent it back was because i felt at this point of my life it is not something I needed. The hearing aid is small, people didnt even notice I had it on. Fantastic value and quality! Ive had a pair of Canto hearing aids for over a year and a half and the sound quality and settings have been perfect for my auditory needs. In October of 2018 I took a test on the Audicus website and discovered I had some moderate hearing loss. Because there were sounds and distractions, I took a second test which came out the same. this prompted me to go to a local ENT to have a hearing test by an Audiologist. Their test yielded the exact same results: moderate hearing loss. There was no way I could afford the $6,000 hearing aids the local office set me up in a trial with, so after doing some research, I came back to Audicus.The prices are very affordable, especially for someone like me on disability. They offer a 45 day money back trial, which is great. My hearing aids were programmed based on my level of hearing loss, using the results from my local Audiologist as it was the most recent test. I purchased the Oro and they came quickly and well packaged with plenty of batteries and domes so that I could get started right away. The hearing aids I received are on par with the $6,000 hearing aids that the local doctor let me demo for two weeks. Quality is not sacrificed with the cost.Customer service is wonderful. I have a specialist on hand to guide me through any questions or concerns I may have, and if I need any help or repairs they are a simple phone call away. From start to finish this has been a very pleasant experience.

Excellent product and prompt phone service. Easy to use, barely visible. A joy to hear clearly again. Forget the stigma, join the (old rock n rollers) club. No need to spend thousands. Blue Tooth allows you to adjust volume/sensitivity with a small clip-on/ hand-held device--adjustable for phone, restaurants, lectures and hearing your cat purr like a lion.

Audicus has been a decent company to work with. My first pair stopped working after 15 months and for a $99 warranty fee, they sent me a new pair of their current equivalent model.If you can afford to pay the high price for aids through a local audiologist, you can get service more quickly and easily, I assume. But if several thousand is beyond your budget, Audicus is a good alternative. I have no other experience with aids, but they seem to work well and hearing better has been very helpful.

My wife said I needed hearing aids, but I didnt want to admit that I needed them. Then I found Audicus. I called and the customer service team was extremely helpful and not pushy. I went to my ENT to get a hearing test and then I faxed it to Audicus. I ordered online, knowing there was a 45-day trial, and I received them within the week. I LOVE my hearing aids. They are invisible, they restore my hearing to a normal level, and best of all, my wife is happy with the volume at which I watch the TV. Thank you Audicus! I will recommend my friends!

I own two pair of Audicus hearing aids, Canto and Alto which are good for the price in that they allow me to hear fairly well and they block out some of the background noises. Basically, they are what I can afford. I still have trouble hearing my students who dont speak up, speakers talking at meetings, and I still have to turn the TV sound up for most shows or use closed caption. The Altos are backups in case something happens to one or both of the Cantos because both hearing aids have to be sent back when needing serviced which takes up to two weeks, too long to be without hearing aids. The Canto purchase was very easy. Audicus has good reps. trained well in CS but I found that a lot of my time was lost waiting for help. They need more reps. Purchase of the second pair did not go as well as the first. Repair was necessary for both sets. The Cantos after a year. Immediate repair was needed on one of the Altos because of a broken tube which was fixed. I think the reps try to or have to handle multiple calls at one time and are sometimes distracted since it was apparent they didnt read what I had typed in the chat space because they occasionally would ask me a question I had already answered. I expected the Alto hearing aids to be better than the Canto, but this is not the case and recently, I didt even see the name listed on the site to purchase wax guards for them and didnt know what to order resulting in another chat with a rep. My conclusion is that the Alto is being or has been discontinued when I thought I was buying the best and most current at the time very recently. They look just like the Cantos. The biggest disappointment has been not being able to listen to music properly after being told when I bought the Canto set there is an enhancement for this which I was supposed to have received with the Cantos. It didnt work. Finally, if they are what you can afford, they are a good purchase and comfortable to wear, and I am grateful they exist; the alternative is not hearing much at all.

I honestly would not recommend purchasing from Audicus. They will not respond to my simple request for a written confirmation of receipt of my returned DIa IIs and what to expect in the return process. They were more than willing to talk to me about a potential sale, but I can get NO RESPONSE about the 45-day satisfaction return process. Next step filing a charge-back on my CC. I would recommend a local Audiologist.

As a new hearing aid user, I found the process very intimidating, and frankly out of my budget. Audicus made the entire process very easy, and the price couldnt be beat! I ordered the Oro on a Friday and they arrived that next Monday! I amazed at the quality! Their you tube videos answered a lot of the questions I had. And a representative called me the very next day after I received them to see if I had any additional questions! I am recommending Audicus to all of my friends who need nearing devices!

Im a first time hearing aid wearer / user and Ive worn my Audicus hear-ware full-time for a little over six months. I cant say enough positive things about Audicus and its products. Not only am I extremely satisfied with the performance of my Canto model hearing aid, it is virtually imperceptible to my family, friends, colleagues and clients. It fits right behind my ear and the microphone transparent wire blends seamlessly into the outer ear structure. Its also very comfortable, so much so that there have been more than a few times that I forgot I was wearing it and nearly jumped in the shower or the pool. Fortunately, I have so far avoided any mishaps. The support and service from the folks at Audicus is also first rate. Friendly, helpful and professional. Whats not to like? With age related hearing loss a common occurrence in both men and women (starting at around age 40), people will have to get past their vanity issues and look into hearing aids. Considering price, performance and quality, Audicus will be the only source for me.

I have had my Oro Bluetooth hearing aids for about 10 days now and I can truly say they have made a difference in my daily life. The service was good and the price was right, I am very pleased. Ive had my initial aNote aids for a bout one year. When they work well, they are great. But they have had significant problems that the company has not been very eager to fix.If you decide to buy aids from Audicus, be sure to ask them to add the Music program to the standard mix. The standard programs distort music substantially. Everything has a substantial tremelo or vibrato flutter that makes it unpleasant to listen to.I just bought a second set of hearing aids from Audicus as a backup for when my initial set is on the fritz. I specified multiple times that they must have the music program. They arrived yesterday. No music program.All in all, the quality control for Audicus seems to have decreased significantly over the past year, sorry to say.

Everyone I spoke with at Audicus was friendly, patient and extremely helpful - from start to finish - and continuing! Buying hearing aids for the first time - especially on-line - was a bit overwhelming. But the folks at Audicus helped me every step of the way - and then some. They answered every single question patiently, provided excellent customer service and support, including detailed tutorial videos and instructions. I purchased two of the Dia II hearing aids (for less than I would have paid for one hearing aid elsewhere), and thus far, everything seems to be working out just fine! When and if you find out as you get older that you need hearing aids, you will be disgusted by the cost and the lack of insurance coverage. In comes AUDICUS if you do some research. Like 33% of the other costs that have been thrown at you.Guess what.....remember the you get what you pay fo r adage well, it applies.It is sick that it costs as much as or more than AUDICUS charges in this country. But the reality is, thats what it costs. Deal with it or saywhat a lot.What AUDICUS makes available are just became obsolete hearing aids. Yesterdays models at bargain prices.They talk a great game customer service wise.But you will soon realize your hearing aid model has no accessories available on the AUDICUS site (obsolete) or any other site In The world (obsolete)So you buy their clean and care service for $50 and if in fact your hearing aid does not test out, they will let you know. NAH!....they probably didnt even test it and they send it back WITH THE WRONG SIZE BATTERIES..... is that emblematic that clean and care is a cash grab or is that just bad customer service? Either way, you lose.So in essence your AUDICUS hearing aids are disposable. $3k from a real hearing aid provider and supporter or $1k from AUDICUS and no real support. AUDICUS = College kids in NYC that need jobs telling you that yes those are your batteries, you are not installing them correctly after 4 years of installing them correctly.mAdding a star because I did get lots of follow up and comm from their customer support AND while I didn’t really get a satisfactory result I did try their free adjustment against a new hearing test and the process was seamless albeit not totally satisfying result-wise

I am very satisfied indeed with Oro hearing aids and Bluetooth devices that I have purchased from Audicus. The reason I do not want to give Audicus a 5 is that there are a few small steps they can do in order to improve customer satisfaction: 1) Audicus should deliver the product with a writing stating the individual settings of the aids and indicating the site where the client could obtain the Ustream and Utv-3 manuals. 2) When a client takes the on-line test Audicus should publish a dB hearing loss curve, instead of just issuing the text that the client has hearing problems. 3) The retention guard should be delivered bent and not straight. The price I paid for my Oro device was 56% of the price I would pay for a local provider in my location.

My original hearing aids served me well over the last 4 years but accidentally were exposed to water and couldn’t be repaired.After the on-line hearing test Audicus provided me with a recommendation and quote. A pair of DIA 2 were paid for and sent to me. When I put them in it was obvious immediately that those just didn’t even come close to helping me with my hearing the way my previous hearing aids did. The left aid made no difference at all, while the right aid slightly amplified all sounds without noticeably reducing distractive background noise. Experimenting with the volume control got me to a point that provided adequate amplification of speech but the amplified background noise became intolerable. At that point the volume on the left ear was adjusted + to one click below max and on the right ear + 2 clicks. Even if that had been satisfactory it would not have been an answer since the aids return to the presets every time they’re turned off and it is time consuming trying to adjust aids individually.Calling Audicus I was told that I would have to give it time and the lady said she would call me back on Friday. That phone call never came and by the following week it had become obvious that the DIA 2s just won’t work for me. I did not want to return the aids for adjustments because of how far they were from being usable. Shipping at my expense from Canada was too expensive considering I had no confidence in the next adjustment.I returned the DIA 2 aids. The credit on my Canadian Visa Card was $109.39 less than what I had paid to Audicus (assumingly due to exchange rates both ways and deducted shipping fees). Audicus did not refund their shipping charge nor my return shipping cost. My out of pocket costs are $149.05 with nothing to show for.Audicus apparently does NOT post negative reviews on their web site. I should have known that all the positive only comments were filtered to the benefit of Audicus.Update: Subsequent to my negative experience with Audicus I bought my hearing aids from an international Warehouse outlet locally. The initial hearing test took 45 minutes in a sound-booth, interview questions and verbal tests took another 35 minutes. The price was over $500 less than from Audicus as buying from an Canada-healthcare approved seller I was able to get a $500 rebate from the Government on each aid (total $1,000). The aids I received are made by Siemens (said to be the largest hearing aid producer) and gave me back my life immediately. I went back twice for further fine tuning resulting in better hearing than what I had even with my previous aids.One can not expect to get hearing aids by just doing a test online and without many costly returns for further tuning when again those are done without a sound-booth and one on one consultation.

I am thoroughly enjoying my second set of Audicus hearing aids. After five years, one of the pair of my original set was not performing well. When I inquired about a repar, I was informed of a very cost effective upgrade available which included my bluetooth controller. I took advantage of this offer and could not be more pleased. My new Dia II aids are vastly better than my original a-blues; they are easier to keep clean, have a greater range of adjusments for varying conditions and have improved my hearing ability measureably. Great customer service, fast delivery and problem solving. I will stick with Audicus.

I have been wearing hearing aids for a little over 10 years now. I started my experience using an inside the ear type and was generally happy with being able to finally hear. When my last hearing aid went bad I decided to do some investigation into other types of hearing aids. I was not very pleased at having to spend almost $2,000 for the same type of hearing aid Ive always used. Thats when I found Audicus on the internet. I first thought what they propose, lower cost hearing aids by taking out the retail middle man, was just another marketing ploy. After doing a great deal of other investigation I decided to contact Audicus. I was very surprised at how attentive and knowledgeable the customer service people were. I grilled them pretty intently about the entire process and for every question I asked the customer service rep, they had answers for me. I decided to purchase a Behind the Ear(BTE) for approximately $550. I have been extremely satisfied with my BTE aid!! I have been singing in groups and church for the last 35 years and when I started wearing my hearing aids(within the ear) I found I couldnt hold pitch, which created a tremendous problem. With the BTE aid I have been able to hear an actual pitch and it has made singing a pleasure again. I have continued to recommend Audicus to others and will continue to do so. I hope anyone who reads this will feel comfortable regarding using Audicus. The concept of leaving the middle man out of the cost structure of hearing aids really works! My next hearing aid will be coming from Audicus!!

I bought aBlue hearing aid for my dad. Didnt work for him, Finally, the item was returned in accordance with Audicuss return policy. They called me next day they received an item and promised to reprogram it. But it took them about a month to send the reprogrammed device back,
