An exceptional and worthwhile investment: I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been seeing Sharon for the majority of my pregnancy. I scheduled a visit with Sharon at Five Seasons Healing after a sudden and severe bout of heartburn that lasted for weeks, and had such a wonderful and affirming experience. Unlike the gastro doctor I saw before her who spoke with me for five minutes and immediately gave me a one-size-fits-all prescription for Omeprazole, Sharon spent an hour asking questions and really forming a holistic understanding of my health history. Through a combination of acupuncture and a licorice supplement, she totally eliminated the heartburn and I didnt have to take the prescription antacid. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice, and will absolutely be coming back if other health issues arise in the future.

I had a horrible experience being induced (for the simple reason that bébé was one week overdue) with my first child. With my second, my doctor agreed to give me two weeks post-due-date. At 8 days overdue I was getting nervous. I made an acupuncture appointment with Sharon and, voilà—the baby came naturally two days later. Sharon Yeung is a world class healer in the truest sense. I and my children have repeatedly been accurately diagnosed by her over the past 6 years on a range of major and minor issues including heart problems, easing muscle pains, elbow tendonitis, the rapid healing of broken bones, eye watering, significantly reducing the number of days of flu and so many more.The most significant and physically and emotionally challenging for me was my heart issue. My cardiologist told me that my accelerated heart beat and frequent palpitations, due to atrial fibrillation were something I would either have to live with; while it affected many areas of my life or ease through surgery; an option filled with potential negative consequences and that’s when it worked correctly. As an active woman in my 40s with 3 children, neither option sat well with me. When I asked for a non invasive option, he offered medication, also with potential adverse effects.I raised this issue to Sharon, not really imagining that she would be able to help with something so significant and within a half hour of asking and answering lifestyle and health related questions I thought had little bearing to the issue, Sharon suggested a treatment and within weeks of following her treatment, the palpitations significantly declined. My eight year old son, has had sleep issues and was always catching colds and fevers since birth. I was unable to find any solutions until we met Sharon. The initial session was an in-depth discussion about my sons health history and lifestyle; then a custom treatment of acupuncture, ear seeds and herbal medicine. Overall decent acupuncture (not many pins) however billing is not straightforward. Ask many questions up front so you do not get added bills afterwards. Not a stressfree experience.

This was something that I did not even expect to get from acupuncture, and I am grateful. Upon follow-up six months into treatment, my endometriomas had shrunken in size significantly and the radiology tech said to me whatever you are doing, dont stop. Sharon has been with me throughout my entire journey to becoming a mother. I started with Sharon after an early miscarriage, and through the assistance of acupuncture and herbs we achieved pregnancy quickly. Sharon supported me through my pregnancy with acupuncture when I had serious hip pain. I had a very difficult postpartum period, and unfortunately, my milk supply was low and I went to Sharon for lactation support. I tried fenugreek, more milk plus, lactation teas, and pumping several times a day. I truly believe that it was acupuncture and especially the herbal preparation that Sharon prescribed that made the difference for me. Prior to going to Sharon I had no feelings of milk letdown and did not feel my breasts filling regularly. After a few weeks of taking the herbal preparation I felt milk letdown several times a day and experienced milk leaking from my breasts. I have been going to Sharon for acupuncture since 2006. She has seen me through a number of issues that western medicine was not able to address or completely solve. Having grown up in a tropical climate, New York winters wreak havoc on me, but Sharon helped me go from getting a cold around 6 times a year to 1 or fewer.
