The person who massaged me, whom I will not call a massage therapist because this seemed like a friend they called in for help, basically spent an hour jabbing her fingers into me. I have never wanted a massage to end until she massaged me. She even neglected to massage my head, a clear part of the 60-minute massage. Also, she cupped my neck. That is extraordinarily dangerous. She ignored me when I asked her to remove it but had no problem responding to another woman who worked there when she spoke to her (pretty annoying). She appeared to not know English, proving it very difficult to request anything. The person at the desk didn’t even do the standard what would you like to focus on and what are your preferences before sending me to the stall — they even do that in cheap Chinatown massage spots!I’ve had plenty of massages, many of them Asian because of the price and style. I know not all places have the happy part of the thing. I’m pretty sure this place does. I heard tell-tale noises. They are smart enough to not have it linked to the name and the phone number used to advertise this part of their business, so as to not deter customers who are not looking for that, however. I am pretty sure that I heard that in the adjacent stall. It’s a very shady way that they operate, the whole thing. Just weird vibes from the beginning and I wish I had walked out. They are very money hungry. I didn’t tip too much and the woman was very begrudging. I would have liked to give 10-percent, but gave a little more (too much). I doubt the person who massaged me even gets the full amount.Maybe you get lucky and have a better person end up massaging you. I know I just threw my money down the drain and have to worry about the cupping repercussions. This is what I get for looking for the closest place to my job.

I had a great massage here. I called ahead to make an appointment, which I would highly recommend as its a small place. It was hopping in there for a Sunday afternoon.Price was very reasonable ($35/30 minutes). This is a no-frills place but its clean, quiet, and the masseuse I had did a good job. I would recommend.

I’ve been going to this place for years. No frills great price this massage isn’t for the weak it’s an intense massage designed to get those muscles loose. Of course if you ask for less pressure they will accommodate . Be sure to ask for cupping its def an added bonus . BEST PLACE!

I had very serious neck a DC jaw injuries 18 years ago, and I go to Asia Tui Na all of the time. At least once per week. Theyre awesome about working me in and do such a good job on my neck and back. I couldnt possibly work like I do without their help, and Im so grateful to them.

This therapy is a lifesaver for back, neck and shoulders. They always ask me if I like strong or gentle (Im medium style), and they check up with me throughout the session. There are cheaper tui-na places in the Midtown area, but nowhere that does a better job.Dont believe the one-star review by Dana. It sounds fake. Ive been going for years. There are no stalls there - and its a clean, honest, medical-style Asian therapeutic establishment with a great reputation.

If you don’t like a deep massage tell them. They will change the pressure for you. This place is no nonsense, no frills, but a good massage for the price.

They are deep tissue if you want, and its great! They have several different massages just ask. Appointments are suggested, though we called at 6 and got a 6:30 appointment, which we were 10 minutes late but it was ok. Theres a Bodega nearby for your after massage hydrate! This is one of the best Ive found in NYC, and worth the trip for sure!

Really great massage. Lasted 1hr. $55. Very nice, and very deep. If you are looking for something more relaxing I suggest letting them know WAY in advance, and reminding them, or going somewhere else. I like to feel the pain, because it feels better afterwards. I will definitely go here again! If youre an athlete and just did something crazy (For example. I went after running a half marathon) I definitely suggest. Unlike other users, I did not walk out with bruises!

This place is great! Dont go expecting a frilly, soft massage, though. These ladies know how to dig deep and make it hurt so good. This is the perfect place for me to get a massage after a volleyball tournament. I couldnt recommend the place enough.

LOVE this place. Prices are very affordable, massages are great quality, and they always have openings. It’s nothing fancy, they have an open room that they’ve divided with curtains, but that’s the trade off of their affordable prices.

The absolute best massage I have ever had. Be brave enough to say too strong and give her the thumbs up when she nails it. Usually no appointment needed.

This is not a spa, but if you want to get a real message to get all the kinks out this is the place to go, they will turn your body into jello, I work in construction alot of physical work, my back is concrete, they turned it into jello, they go hard, if its to hard you can ask for softer obviously and there are always checking in to make sure your comfortable, only place I go for massages trust me.

I had the best massage of my life here. Lisa took away all the tension and knots that were plaguing me for so long while I worked my miserable former desk job.Fair price and I will be back again and again to visit Lisa. I just wish they had a frequent visitor card. But hey, maybe they are so good they dont need to!

Ive had many massages from fancy to not, and this is by far the best massage Ive had. I recently moved to Texas and any time I come to NYC, this is one of my first stops. The furniture and decor is lacking, the ladies here speak little to no English, but they understand back pain. Firm, deep massage is what I like, and they deliver! They never fail to de-stress my weary muscles.

Dusty and dirty far cry from a spa. Therapist just placed the suction cups at random, been for cupping many times before, this place was a real disappointment!

I love this place! When you want a massage, a beat-down, work on each and every muscle until it is putty and relaxed, this is where you go.

There is no better deal for the quality in America (as far as I have found) if you are looking for seriously deep tissue work. Get ready to grimmace but never say mercy : )
