Why is Westmed not offering the COVID vaccines? Has the pandemic run its course? Has the Delta variant disappeared? Why make an appointment for a test, but not be able to supply the vaccine? According to the media COVID and its variant are still very much a threat. Your doctors are all being rather rude about getting vaccinated, yet they don’t have the vaccines to administer. Sounds a bit dodgy to any intelligent person. Either COVID is an issue that you as a medical facility should address. It this Covid is not as bad as people are told. Which is it. Of course there is a third option, you don’t really care.

Came to urgent care This morning for what I thought would be a simple COVID-19 test in preparation for travel later this week. The woman who greets you at the door, tells you to take your temperature, and hands you a mask, is far from a greeter. She was rude and had an attitude for no given reason.When I checked in I was told 1) my child could not be tested because of her insurance and 2) that I had to wait in my car until the nurse came out to see me.Okay, fine.The wait time from going to my car to getting a call from the nurse that I could come in was 23 minutes. Unbelievable after I was told there was only 1 patient in front of me and the app reflected 0.When I complained to the nurse she told me “well there is usually a wait at urgent care.” Well then this isn’t urgent care. This is a primary MD office.Finally the nurse (who is a lovely person. It’s a shame she’s mixed up in this) takes me into the exam room, takes my vitals and does my COVID test. I was very clear I only needed a COVID test however, she stated I had to see the provider.The nurse left the room and I waited another 10-15 minutes for a provider who never appeared. I left, never to return again.I am a faithful westmed patient but I will not be going back to the New Rochelle urgent care.

Urgent care is the worse in New Rochelle facility. Book online for 12:30 and was told I have to wait one hour. Its 2:15 still sitting outside the facility. I have to pick up my nephew from school at 2:30. No one cared to give a update, at least inform us about what is happening. Thank God its warm outside.

I recommend everyone go somewhere else.

I’ve been to a lot of doctors offices and a lot of doctors visits and I must say they have their staff well trained and on their A game.There are a few workers, mainly the people scheduling you for appointments at the front desk and in the cubicles when you enter, who drag their feet with work and assisting you but for the most part, everyone else Expresses their care and concern for your needs. I go out of my way to come to this one.

Very unprofessional, if you share a bad experience through their own survey system they do not posted on their page they only post good reviews. In addition, if you happen to be sick and schedule a virtual appointment good luck I have been waiting for almost 2 hours and no one has reach out yet, so unprofessional. Definitely need to look for a new health care provider.

Horrible wait time.. I booked an online appointment for 10:30am. I finished the check in process and new patient paperwork at 10:18am and was told to wait in my vehicle and they will call me in and the wait should be 30min. It’s 12pm and I still have not been called.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I had a doctor appointment booked 2 months in advance for today 12/24/2020 with my PCP. When I arrived I was told that the doctor cant see me. I asked receptionist why...after a long pause because she had a emergency which I truly believe was a flat out lie. I moved upstate NY recently therefore I drove an hour to this appointment just to be turned away. I believe they overbooked. I never received a phone call to reschedule my appointment. That was very unprofessional and I will inform my doctor of this.

I was told that I had to remove my mask and wear a mask provided by Westmed. I was then given a mask that was taken from a dirty plastic container that the worker touched with gloves that werent recently changed.

Westmed is excellent. Everyone is very professional and courteous. People that say otherwise are people you can never satisfy and proof that the customer is not always right.

Went to urgent care was not feeling well. Was seen quickly and handled VERY professionally all test were done and results in 1 hour with full explanation of all my results. Walked out in 1 1/2 hours with a GREAT FEELING of proper care and compassion.

Great experience! I was a walk-in.. at first couldn’t get seen at the kids office but sent to urgent care where even though the wait was an hour and half they made my children feel so comfortable! Then I get a call from the office after only 20 min, to let me know that their doctor wasn’t available but Dr Riencoff (I know I’m misspelling it) could see BOTH my babies! Maria the nurse was super sweet as well as their front desk Spanish speaking lady who was so sweet and pleasant as well. They made our visit very easy and the dr was great and made my children feel comfy able! Definitely a great experience:)

They never have the flu vaccine available until late fall

Today I rushed my mom over to West med urgent care because her pressure was high and was in need of emergency pills. I was pleased with this visit. Even though my mom was a new patient, they assisted her as easy as 1,2,3. The nurse partitioner Dr. Smith and her tech were helpful and caring. Dr. Smith assured my mom to be aware of her health and prescribed her with the pills. I recommend WestMed to anyone in case of an emergency.

Great Place. I have had great experiences with the staff and doctors. Never waited longer than an hour from check in to check out. Super fast and efficient. I like that everything is on the premises and you get seen at the time your appt is set for.

Efficient place. Waiting areas are clean and comfortable and doctors and labs are generally friendly and on time. Urgent care is available here as well, but naturally can be a little slower.

I will first start off by saying all of the doctors in this office do not care about their patients! I believe a Dr should give extra attention to their patients examine them not just hand them a prescription like these doctors, they all say try this out see how it works, unbelievable! I will suggest if you are not feeling well and care about yourself DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE!! These doctors are all heartless, disgusting animals I hope their family members get treated the same way they treat all of their patients. BE AWARE and good luck to you..

It was fine.

I visited the Urgent Care department for a severe asthma attack. I was impressed with the level of customer service and patient care from start to finish. The front desk attendees were professional, pleasant and efficient. The nurses were caring, highly observant and attentive. The doctor administered the proper therapies and worked with me to administer meds in a way I felt most comfortable with. Scheduling a follow up appoitment with an internist was seamless.

I have been a patient of the pediatric department there since I was born. I am to old to see them, but will hope they are still around when I have a child. They are wonderfull

Terrible administration. You may get through the clinic, but watch out for the Bogus billing then they have the nerve to send bogus bills to collection! There is no one to resolve it with except the same person that makes inaccurate entries.

Pediatric Doctors are great! Very caring and sweet take their time with my babies

Drs are good but dont expect to get through to them or the office. Call center is a frustrating waste of time. Been on hold for 10 minutes now just trying to get a fax number. Never once had an easy time getting through. Will seriously consider changing drs as a result

Doctors and nurses are very excellent at what they do!

I would like to leave no stars but the review makes me leave a star this place is horrendous my daughter is 4 + 1/2 I came in 5 minutes late which they did not see her and said it would take an hour before she could be seen the staff is completely rude and the doctors seem not to care parents beware stay far away from West Medical Group

Dr. vitali is amazing! I have been with this practice since my daughters were born and when they were located in throggs neck. They are now 10 and 13! I love how caring and attentive the doctors and staff are. It’s amazing to see a provider go above and beyond. Dr. Vitalli is caring and compassionate and I am very greatful she is my daughters pediatrician.

Disappointing and DISTURBING. I TOOK MY CHILD TO URGENT CARE HOWEVER THE STAFF THERE DENIED SERVICES FOR HIM ON ACCOUNT THEY DONT TAKE HIS INSURANCE YE I CALLED BEFORE GOING AND THEY SAID THEY DID TAKE IT AND HIS PRIMARY CARE DOC IS IN SAME OFFICE . DO NOT GO THERE WESTMED IS HORRIBLE AND UNcompassionate THEY WILL DENY YOU OUT OF NOWHERE..THEY HAVE DROPPED COVERAGES NUMEROUS TIMES I HAVE CONTACTED A LAWYER TO DEAL W THEM......

Got sick on a sunday. Was recovering fron a terrible lung infection and had a reaction to the antibiotics. I met the sweetest dr, Dr Idaresit Udo. So sympathetic, kind , compassionate. She took the time to really listen to my concerns. Did bloodwork to rule out many different things. All turned out okay. I would love for her to be my permament dr. She was worth a bit of a wait to see.

Terrible pediatrics practice without ethics. No direct line to the actual office, nurses or doctors. Only a contact center that gives out incorrect information. I was reassured of an appointment for my sick child and when I got there the extremely rude woman at the front of the pediatrics center said its against their doctors religion to work past 5pm, even though children were still being called back to see doctors. I dont know what kind of pediatrician refuses to honor an appointment for a sick child. Absolutely disgusted by this practice and their lack of ethics.

The most rude, unprofessional, childish nurses & front desk. I will never step foot in any westmed especially new Rochelle location or recommend. They wasted my time & I still need to see a doctor.

Arrived 5:01 .Would not allow me in .Bad left foot swollen and possibly infected . Showed them my foot through the door .See Photo .Horrible . No humanitarians working here . Told me to go to the hospital . Guess they had pressing personal engagements to get to . Wine and friends more important than patients .They were waiting with their coats on at 5;01 to leave . Go anywhere else . This place has horrible doctors , or whatever they are .
