When the electrician that serviced our generator stopped that service, we switched to another company. They ended up not being reliable and spent only 2 minutes looking at our generator before leaving. Fed up, I called Ready Power to take over the maintenance. I had my first service visit, and its night and day from the last company. Matt was able to actually come earlier than expected and was very courteous. He explained what he was doing and what to expect in the future. He did a thorough maintenance of the generator which included changing out old spark plugs, filter and oil. He checked our battery and let me know when that would likely need to be changed in a future visit. He ran a test run of the generator and let me know how everything went. He gave me his card and noted they are available 24 hours to help with any needs that popped up. I am SUPER grateful for Matt and Ready Power. I finally feel like Im getting the service I pay for and appreciate their professionalism. Highly recommend!!

Technicians diagnose my broken generator and was able to repair it. He answered all my questions and provide recommendations on maintaining my generator. The office was friendly and was responsive on my request. I also had my Generac 20kw installed by Ready Power which I highly recommend. Ready Power was able to install my generator up to code and at the location that I requested. They provided a stand and looked for potential carbon dioxide trouble areas prior to installation. I recommend giving Ready Power a call.

Kaleb was extremely professional and knowledgeable about my generator and preformed the initial start up without any problems. Before leaving Kaleb full informed my wife and I on the complete operation of the generator and the maintenance schedule. Matt is a great technician. I am retired military and was a technician in the USN for 40+ years. I watched as he went through the removal and replacement of the Fuel Plenum. Very methodical as he removed and replaced the part. Totally checked out the generators functions after the installation! The few questions I asked Matt, he explained to me with no problems. Kaleb was the Ready Power tech sent to help me understand my new generator. He did a great job of walking me through the set-up and electrical safety systems. He made at least three trips to make sure the job met the standards of the inspectors. He always kept his worksite safe and clean.

We paid 60% of total cost for generator, installation, etc. on 6/11/21. The project lead time was 5-6 weeks, so it shouldve been here by end of July. It is now 9/8/21 and we have no word on the update on where the permits stand. We were out of the country while Hurricane Ida hit and our dog sitter had to save our dogs from heat exhaustion since we had no power and there was a heat advisory. 5-6 weeks on getting this has turned into more than 12. I will only update my review once we get some answers and proof that they submitted the permits to New Orleans in a timely fashion. Insane we had to put so much money down with no results. Shameful.

Since maintenance is a must to keep our generator in tip top shape, I scheduled our first year generator maintenance visit for today. Yes it is a little early of our 1 year purchase anniversary, but wanted to be be prepared for the height of hurricane season. Matt checked to make sure everything was working correctly (a long checklist of items including load and pressure tests), re-established the generator connection to our wifi, and changed the oil and filter. I am so happy we made this purchase from Ready Power!

Heath with Ready power made an appointment with me on September 1 for Thursday September 30 at 9 am and never showed or called. I messaged the day before to see if the appointment was still on he never responded. At 9 am on the 30 I called him and he acted like he never made an appointment with me. I took time off of work to be home for him to come and he can not respond. Would not use this company they do not value the customers time.

Matt Jones did a great job. Installed new starter and performed annual maintenance. Informed me about all the work he performed and explained repair work also.

Ready Power came out to start up our whole house generator. The two men were thorough, professional and quick. Would recommend them. We think about them every time our generator does its weekly test. Good to know that if we ever need repairs, we will call them again.

Matt arrived on time for my annual maintence & inspection for my Generac generator. He immediately identified and replaced a part that was on a recall. He changed oil & filter and both spark plugs. Checked battery and charging system and did a full load test. Very satisfied knowing I will have reliable equipment in an outage. Highly recommend!

We bought our generac generator/had it installed with Ready Power for over $8k. It was installed in May 2021. We lost power Sunday August 29th during Hurricane Ida and the generator barely worked for 24 hours. My husband has called ready power every day since, he called the company, salesperson & installation person and have not heard back from Ready Power or anyone else. We spent too much money with them for a generator that needs a new part after 24 hours of use. I no longer recommend them if you are in need of a generator. In fact I found a new representative who sells & maintains Generac generators and have already sent the new company three customers. Absolutely RIDICULOUS to spend that amount of money for power to go out for 6 days. We just received Entergy power today September 6, 2021. My last name is actually Quinn, located in East Lakeshore/ NOLA. My husband asked me to wait on posting my reviews, giving Ready Power a chance to come out and fix our brand new generator. We are still waiting on their call.

You get what you pay for and Matt was worth every penny. My kohler 20kw was under a contract with another company. Frustrated with their decline in customer service I reached out to ready power. I was expecting more of the same however I must say Matt was nothing like the previous company. He notified me 20 minutes before the appointment via text. Matt started right away. The entire time he was here he was always moving. He worked while answering my questions, and reacted to my concerns. He was clearly knowledgeable and explained solutions throughout the experience. He replaced a defective battery, corrected a wiring deficiency, replaced missing screws, pointed out potential issues, adjusted the contrast on the display... He did what would have taken me hours in minutes. I dont like filling these things out unless the experience was really awful, or did something worth mentioning. When you call Ready Power, ask for Matt Jones, you wont be disappointed.

I later hadnt heard anything and emailed Amanda to confirm it had been ordered, but she said she hadnt heard back from Generac on confirmed delivery. today, July 2nd I called Heath to find out they had never placed the order, and could do nothing to help me. Very poor way to run a business.

ReadyPower has performed maintenance on our generator every year since we installed it. Weve always been very pleased with the service.The service people have always been polite, personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Appointments have always been made to my convenience and usually the next day after I call. I believe in an emergency they would come as quickly as possible, though weve fortunately not had one. We needed some repair years ago and they were out the next day. (I think the transfer switch malfunctioned. The service person made sure I knew how to turn the gen on and off safely before he left, in case we had trouble again, though we have not.)

Ready Power installed a 32KW Generac Standby generator in December. In preparing for Hurricane Delta, I noticed a small oil leak, and contacted Ready Power to have it serviced. Within a few minutes, a representative from Ready Power contacted me for a service call. Matt, the technician came out today as scheduled, and discovered that the oil cap had vibrated loose. He replaced the cap, thoroughly cleaned the entire unit, and ran through several tests to ensure that the unit was running properly. He then ran several tests to ensure that the brain of the unit was functioning as intended. Once complete, he made sure that all of our questions were answered, and gave us his emergency contact information, should the unit ever malfunction. I cant express how professional and service-minded a company Ready Power is. From the initial call I made, through the installation process, through todays service call, Ready Power went way beyond what I would expect, to ensure that we were satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone needing a stand by generator. Great company!!

Alex Fernandez is the person who normally comes out and services are Generator. I was unable to get an appointment time where we could meet up together for him to service the generator and s forgot to rebook. As a result, the generator battery was bad and we lost power for a long time. Alex walked me through it and I was able to purchase the correct battery and test it.
