I was a first time patient at Nelson Ridge Family Dental. I get very anxious going to the dentist but Krista was extremely nice and patient and explained everything every step of the way so it made me feel so much better. She kept checking in to make sure I was okay during the cleaning before proceeding. The facility was immaculate and was very welcoming. They had two TVs in every exam station which helped distract me. Dr. Patti was very helpful when explaining the xrays and treatment plan. I will definitely be going back and would recommend this practice to everyone! Thank you so much!

Switching dentists is always hard and nerve wracking! I decided to make the move because of a referral and WOW was initial thought when I first walked in. The staff was so welcoming and the modern interior design is so clean and comforting. Once I was brought back and sat in a chair - the girls made me feel like a returning patient. Everyone’s attitudes were gentle and kind but bubbly at the same time. I can’t believe I didn’t make the switch sooner.Reason for my switch: I was unhappy with my veneers and Nelson Dental fixed them up, no questions asked! Quick, easy and painless!

My mom had been trying to find an oral surgeon for my dad. After calling every one in our area, to no avail, we decided to look a little farther North. I came across Nelson Ridge Family Dental and told my mom to call them. They were very understanding of the pain and discomfort my dad was in and said to bring him in first thing the next morning. My parents both said they were great to work with and explained everything completely.

Haven’t been to the dentist in ages and picked a place based on some research and lots of great reviews. I will add to the list of great reviews...beautiful clean and updated office and very welcoming staff. I have to go back to have some work done and rescheduled with Amanda who was fantastic! Very patient and thorough with answering all my questions which made me feel more at ease. I also met with Dr. Kathy who was wonderful as well. Not that I’m looking forward to upcoming dental work, but I know that I’m in good hands with this group :)

I had to get my first crown and I usually love the dentist, but I was nervous for this. Dr. Djordjevic thoroughly explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. My crown was made to perfection, he did a really great job!

Today I came here for a tooth extraction and I was not able to pay my bill in full as my financial struggle is real. They understood that times are rough and they set up a small payment plan for me which I was really happy about. The whole procedure was over in about 30 seconds and I was off to work. I’ve recommended many people come here because everyone knows what they’re doing. They don’t cut corners and they make sure you’re happy when you leave. They’ll always have my business.

This was our first time going to Nelson Ridge Family Dental and I was extremely pleased. I have two small children (3 and 5) who were going for their cleanings. The staff was so nice and interacted with my kids to make them feel comfortable. It was a quick and efficient process while not making me or my kids feel like a number. Very very professional. The office in a whole is very clean and welcoming. Everyone was nice and for the most part although with masks on can tell they were smiling and liked being there. I had the pleasure of having Brook as my hygienist and Dr. Kathy DDS. They were both very knowledgeable and experienced, very professional. For the past 2 1/2 years I have been going to Nelson Ridge Family Dental and have followed their plan, and can honestly say my teeth are so much better for it. The staff is so professional, yet genuinely kind and caring that I now look forward to my visits. They also use the latest techniques, and methods in their care. The office has incorporated all of the CDC guidelines, and more, to insure the safety of the staff and their patients. I have felt safer in their facility than in any other medical office I have been to in the past 9 months. For all of these reasons I can confidently, and without hesitation, recommend them and easily give them a five star rating.

Nelson Ridge Family Dental is a great dental office. Im very impressed everytime Im there with the individualized attention that they give you. My hygienist was Jacquelyn and she was great! She explained everything I needed to know about my dental health. She was very gentle and i felt I was in great hands when she was cleaning my teeth!! Since the pandemic Ive put off dental appointments. I feel my teeth and gums are on there way too being healthier after my last visit.

My wife and I are long term patents of Nelson Ridge and have enjoyed the experience but I will say that lately the front office seems to be unorganized in relationship to appointments and not listening to what the patient is saying. It appears that they are somewhat overwhelmed as the patient count has grown and I certainly hope that the small office Atmosphere that was there when Dr Paul started is not being lost. We certainly will continue to be patients and I recently recommended the place to my daughter who was a patient in a “ production “ type practice so please, please don’t turn into that.Thank you for listening.

Ive been going here for roughly two years. I have had severe anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist due to past experiences at multiple offices that just really ruined it all for me. Nelson Ridge has been more than accommodating for me. They made note of my fears and worries and always talk through everything with me. Nothing is a surprise, everything is explained, and all of the staff has been incredibly kind. All of my concerns have been heard and for the first time I feel like they listen to me at every visit. I cannot recommend Nelson Ridge enough - even if youve had dental office fears or anxiety! (totally helps that theyre within network for me too, but Id visit even if they werent)

After being with an older dentist at a really old office, I was completely blown away when I entered this dental office. Everything is beautifully decorated. Each of the different offices are perfect. The technology is top notch. Everyone is friendly and wonderful. All of the staff at Nelson Ridge Family Dental are so welcoming and insightful during each appointment. I appreciate each Dental Hygienist and Dentist explaining what they are doing before and during the procedures or cleanings; it shows that they care about doing a great job and that they care about their patients. The receptionists also provide details and assistance with billing/insurance and health plans. They make every dentist appointment truly pain free. I would highly recommended this facility.

Dr. Paul Etchison is a rock star of dentistry! I was so happy to hear that Paul was able to save my wisdom tooth after other dentist personnel recommended pulling it. Paul fixed the deep and hard to reach cavity after numbing the area with three shots of Novocain. I was so happy the next morning to be pain free and back to chomping away. Thank you Paul you did great!

Being in the dental field for 6 years, I am very picky when it comes to choosing a dentist. My family and I moved to Plainfield and needed to find a dentist near by. After reading all of the reviews, I knew this was the place! My children had appointments a few days ago and they LOVED it! My appointment was the next day. My hygienist was Krista. She was so friendly and knew her stuff. Everyone that I came in contact with was great! From scheduling to seeing the doctor, I couldnt have asked for a better experience and I am so glad that we went with Nelson Ridge :)

I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but this place deserves it. Every person I encountered was so kind and accommodating, from the front desk staff to the hygienists and the doctor. I had my first cavity filled here and I was really nervous, but everyone explained everything before they did it, and it was not painful at all. Overall, it’s a really nice office with fantastic staff and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely amazing. If I could give them more stars I would. I called a few months ago to make an appt. The receptionist took my insurance info and said she would call me back and find out exactly what my insurance covered. Within 1 hour she called and went over EVERYTHING. I was so shocked she took the time to do so especially with this pandemic going on. I am in the veterinary med field and know how busy this year has been on everyone. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist from horrible experiences as a kid along w tons of work done in the past. I was a nervous wreck when I went for my cleaning but my hygienist was the sweetest person and really took her time with me. They showed me my X-rays and I had to come back for fillings. They prescribed me medication to take before my fillings and I had them done this morning. Again my hygienist was great and Dr. Pycinska did the fillings. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I was so relaxed (for once) and it was such a great experience I am actually looking forward to come back for my next cleaning and to get my two teeth fixed with crowns. I HIGHLY recommend them from the receptionist, hygienist, and Doctors I am so thankful for them! They are truly the best.

Had a minor tooth emergency to a child and the staff was able to get us in within an hour. The staff was very caring and friendly which helped my son stay calm. The dentist didnt even charge for a tooth extraction since it was a rather easy removal. I wish every medical / dental office was like this. Keep up the great service!
