Mr. West was courteous while we asked him to wait a few minutes. He came in, helped me out of the wheelchair, and went to work. It was a simple part replacement that was accomplished in a few minutes. We found some wear that wasn’t normal for two months and he will return to replace that as well.

This young woman was warm,, welcoming, she made an exception for me due to my failing health and got me in sooner than expected which for our family was/is greatly appreciated and tonight I can sleep knowing that I will wake up tomorrow!! I have been very impressed with the medical equipment technician that has delivered our oxygen needs over the last month. He has always been punctual, knowledgeable, and very personable. He takes the time to answer our questions, makes sure we have all the equipment we need, takes the time to ask how I am doing. He always has a smile even when its been 100 degrees outside. Don Probst is very professional and puts forth a great image for your company. Keep up the good work!

Scheduled hours of operation , are a bit tough for scheduling appointments. They compromised and scheduled me for a 430 apt. A gentleman stayed half an hour over to help me get my machine and help me understand the new machine.

Andrew was our service provider for Adapt Health. He arrived promptly after first calling me. He patiently waited to enter our home since we have 2 dogs that needed to be put away while he was here. He removed the old non functioning O2 concentrator and replaced it with a new one. He provided a new O2 line and a package of nasal cannulas with adapters. He answered all our questions and was very polite. Thank you Andrew!

Bad situation become excellent because of Ashley J. I received a Dreamstation II CPAP unit directly from Philips Respronics as a result of Philips recall of my Dreamstation I CPAP unit. Over the course of 4 days Adapt Health was very disorganized and unable to set up a training session for me to learn how to set-up and use the new D2 Cpap unit. In despair I emailed the customer service specialist (Ashley) who had previously helped me set up my D1 unit, explained my situation and need for help. Ashley immediately scheduled and Zoom training session with me. She was able to remotely set up my units profile & make the necessary changes, demonstrate the units functions, purge my old D1 device from an iphone application, add my new unit to the iphone application and answer a number of questions related to the new D2 units settings. Thank you Ashley.

I have gotten in touch with this company and they have changed my 89 year old mother for there services . My mother has good insurance and called customer service and they agreed they should refund the money. I have contacted this company several times. They will not return my calls. I don’t know if they’re trying to double dip but they sure are taken full advantage of my 89-year-old mother. I would not deal with this company ever again! And I am going to take further action against this company. I will File a civil suit against his company!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.I was told from the beginning that my monthly Payments would be $40 a month with an initial payment of $200. My initial payment was around $400 and then a monthly payment averaged around $70 and random payments throughout the month. Then my final bill that broke my back was $377.00 to which they explained that they were only going off the insurance amount. I called and complained and their response was that the $40 was an estimate. I asked them to tell me how much I owed total on the machine which they replied a total of 10 months. I said that is not an amount. They refused to tell me how much I owed. I told them to come get their machine

I came into the Quigley Blvd location...and let’s just say it was not a good experience. Upon coming into the location I could hear a lady, being rude and condescending to a customer via phone. I was then asked to wait because this same woman Diane would be helpful. Diane came over to me with that same energy and body language. The way I was spoken to and was treated...was the worst experience I have had in my life. I was told by her to, “Not waste my time because we-don’t handle that here!” I then asked to speak with someone else about her treatment and was told she is the Head Person in Charge!!!! 🥶🥶😱😨

I have been getting oxygen supplies with this company of 2 yrs now. I placed an order for oxygen tanks to be delivered after 5pm due to work and they had been accommodating due to my work hours. Well on 2/10/21 I called to order my normal supplies which are delivered the next day. When the guy came to deliver my order, it was the wrong size. He told me that I had to call and reorder the correct ones. Well the next day I called and reordered the correct tanks giving the correct size number and the young lady place my order to be delivered the next day. Well the guy delivered before the time indicated on my order form and still the wrong size again and then he left 12 huge tank in my apartment building hallway for me to move into my apartment. I think that oxygen tanks should not be left at someone door for hours when they are not at home, anyone can come by and take one or them all. I called after hours operator and she stated that she would forward my information to a afterhour tech. The tech called back and because I was upset and demanding that someone come and pick up the tank that were left in the hallway. She got mad and hung the phone up on me and when I called back they put me on hold for 20 mins. Then I called from another phone and someone assisted me and then lied about not having an after hours tech available because they left for the day. I was told to once again to call back tomorrow to reorder. Very unhappy customer, when I find another company , I will be changing.

I should have know by the 1 star rating. I dropped a prescription off on Thursday for something I needed after surgery. They assured me they would get the needed information from my Dr’s office and get it ready for pick up. Monday I called to inquire and they Never called me back. I called again in the afternoon and they were just reaching out my doctors office. I ended up buying the $250 product I needed out of pocket. Extremely poor service. Do not bother! I will also tell my surgeon to take them off their contact list!

Had no issues with First choice for a few years then once covid started and them switching to a call center is when it went downhill. Terrible customer service which consists of constant hanging up, orders not going through, no orders showing up in the system at all, and always some sort of insurance issue. Do not go here for your cpap or oxygen needs.

I normally do not write reviews, but this business has the worst customer service of any I have ever dealt with. All they care about is the initial sale of the machine and reselling supplies (at a much higher cost then almost anywhere else). I have had nothing but frustration when dealing with First Choice (now Adapt Health).

I just call and call get sent from one Department to the other an. From the billing to bipap to oxygen rep. Hold over 20 minutes get diconected. Call back over and over and then get to the right department and get recoding saying they are unavailable. Perfect since I need oxygen tanks by Monday. Since I first started dealing with first choice I have never liked dealing with them.

This company is great on the first day when you need equipment and you are in hospital, but thats where it ends. The staff are generally nice, but that doesnt make up for the sheer incompetence you will have to put up with working with this company. Their phone system is a joke and you will spend alot of time being transferred and on hold. Their billing department should be fired, all of them and replaced with people who know what they are doing. I have been battling a billing issue with this company for 9 months. I made the payments, i have the canceled checks which were deposited/cashed by First Choice. but they applied it to the wrong account and are incapable of corecting this. I have sent them copies of the checks 5 times, had 10-11 calls with them and still, no resolution. This is not a failure of the people on the phone or their techs/ delivery people, this is a result of incompetent leadership at this company and an epic failure of process and training.It is beyond frustrating and at this point , I really dont have the patients to deal with them anymore.My only course of action right now is to go to the hospital and speak with them about how bad this company is to work with and they should reconsider their alliance with First Choice Medical or whatever name they are using this week.I would appeal to everone writig these reviews, call your hospital and complain to them.

If I was able I would have rated -1 or 0!, if I could. Last week our Visiting Nurse Physical Therapist started the process along with my husband’s Dr to get a hospital bed from First Choice. It has been a NIGHTMARE dealing with your company. The Dr sent the script at least three times. The customer service employees repeatedly said they didn’t receive it.Today one of your employees said that an email would probably be more reliable. WHY not say that before? Obviously your procedures for receiving and documented paperwork needs to be evaluated. One employee promised to call me back ASAP. Five hours later he called but had no answer for me except he was personally going to call the Dr and would call me back in ten minutes. That never happened.So we are still waiting a week later for a hospital bed for my husband.IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND THE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE AND DISORGANIZATION THAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED.MY NEXT NOTE/ CALL WILL BE TO MEDICARE TO REPORT YOUR COMPANY’S DISASTROUS INEFFICIENCY.You cannot do business in this manner and not expect consequences.Mary C.New Castle DE

Started 15 days ago trying to get equipment. It is still not here. Sick people recovering from illness or surgery should not have to go through this.!!!UPDATE!!!I called the first business day after delivery of incorrect item. They were kind on the phone. Said they could send it out for a swap the very next day. And yes it happened just like that. On the next day approx 1 pm EST someone showed up with correct product and took incorrect product away. I would like to thank all involved who made this situation correct.

So far everything they have sold me I can find for far less than half price elsewhere and the price quoted is not necessarily the price youre going to pay by the end... I was told $97 and a month-and-a-half later I got another bill for 10 more dollars... send me the wrong stuff then I have to pay to send it back... simply wont deal with them anymore not with all the other options out there

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! I feel they are unethical and fraudulent. They have never billed Medicare for my husband’s oxygen or cpap. After sending us one invoice for oxygen, I called a Medicare to check if they submitted the claim. They have never submitted any claims for either service and per Medicare, as a participating provider with Medicare they are NOT permitted to bill the patient unless they have submitted to the insurance company first. We filed a complaint with Medicare for fraudulent business/billing practices and they are investigating this provider. When we called customer service through this process, it was a horrible experience. Truly unprofessional! Filed a complaint with both of our insurance companies, BBB, and the State of Delaware Insurance Commissioner. Run away as fast as you can from this provider! They are truly unskilled and unprofessional.

This companys billing system sucks. First, I have requested online billing only, but have received 2 postal bills for charges I already paid online. However, found them, online, to be included in my Balance Due. Also requested notifications online for all bills. Most recent bills taken out of my bank account without my knowledge - found them when I checked my online bank statement. Lastly, I requested monthly billing, & was told Id get it. Billing STILL coming every 3 months. Between that & payments they arent acknowledging, , I have a bill this month of $359. God forbid, I hope you or your loved ones never have the need for a home medical equipment company. But if you do, DONT use First Choice. As I said before, THEY SUCK.

Unbeknownst to me, they have been billing my credit card for my CPAP machine for over two years. I was never told Id be paying on this machine forever and that I wouldnt own it outright. I have no idea how they got the card number in the first place. I want to return the machine but they dont answer their phones. I waited on hold for over 20 minutes only to be disconnected. I called back and the same thing happened again. They obviously dont want to service their customers or be up front about charges and billing. I cant help but feel Ive been scammed. Shout out to the doctor who foisted them upon me without any alternative choices. I wonder if hes getting kickbacks.

From a doctors office view, First Choice communication is just AWFUL. There have been several times where we fax all of the patients information, script for equipment, Ect, and we never hear any thing back.. Then, we have the patient calling mad at us because they have not gotten their equipment yet. Each and every time I have called First Choice to see what in the world was going on, its the same story every time... we faxed back that we were missing information and you need to provide it. But we NEVER get any feedback. This has happened so many times... First Choice needs to start calling the doctors office to follow up. We are doing our part then never hear a word back. Our office has now had to set several reminders each patient to make sure they 1.) received the order 2.) need any more info 3.) actually processed the request. This is very frustrating to do with EVERY patient in a busy office filled with geriatric patients.......

This review is for the parent company in general, but I started getting my CPAP and supplies through this branch of First Choice. I was contacted in early February for my new supplies for my CPAP. They told me how much it would cost (my co-pay) and it was over $200 due to my deductible and it being a new year. They charged my flex spending card $239. My FSA card provider is requiring documentation for the charge. My EOB from my insurance says my copay should have been only about $166. I called QMES/Roberts Home Medical/Mid-Atlantic Medical Equipment/First Choice, whatever name they choose to use today, starting over 3 weeks ago to get a detailed receipt so the FSA doesnt make me pay this out of my own pocket back to them or they cut off my FSA debit card. For three weeks now Ive been told that they cant see where a payment of that amount ($239) was applied on my account. I keep being told that it is being escalated and I would receive a call back by the end of that day. There was a guy last week who gave me his name and extension and asked me to call back today. I did and the guy who answered the phone would not transfer me to him, but again told me I would get a call back today. Well, here we are, more than three weeks from my original call. They close in less than10 minutes and my phone hasnt rung yet. If this isnt resolved ASAP, Im going to file a complaint with the BBB. Find another provider if you can. QMES is building a monopoly and they are busy buying up these smaller providers instead of getting their act together first.UPDATE: I finally got this resolved with them by calling them, again, and insisting that they resolve this or I was going to contact the BBB and whatever other agency I needed to in order to get this resolved. I spent more than 2 hours on the phone with them. They respond to this review by telling me to send an email. If you cant resolve it over the numerous calls to a person, how is an email going to help? Its finally resolved, but I wont be buying any more of my CPAP supplies from them.

They decided to charge my credit card for an extreme cost well above what we agreed on prior to delivery and during delivery. Supervisors response was to contact insurance who denied claim. Let’s just say I never gave them permission to charge my credit card and the receipt given at delivery doesn’t state nor show this outrageous cost. Nothing is adding up and yet the only response I get is to call my insurance. How about I scream FRAUD! You got the medical device returned in almost brand new condition as we only used it twice. With the amount charged to my credit card without my permission we could have purchased and keep 3 or 4 of these medical devices. So I’m scratching my head how this is possible? Auditors need to seriously go and listen to this companies recorded phone calls and do a deep dive into their billing practices to see how deception and fraud is being used by this company to overpower medically ill patients.

So many issues with this company and medi equip with giving me a wheelchair that became a safety hazard, having wrong debit card information and my payments disappearing in mid air. Received a bill from medi equip threatening me with collection action for a bill that was paid June 1. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I was finally notified of a 0 balance. This bill has been a headache for almost a year.Such mass confusion and no communication between first choice and medi equip.Please avoid doing business with either of these companies

The billing dept is something to be desired. Every month they send an invoice, I pay it either that day or the next. Within a week or so, they are sending a late notice to say it wasnt paid and it wasnt even due yet!! When you call the reps seem to be like they are from outer space. Looking for another provider ASAP. This has been going on for the past 8 months, its ridiculous. Their accounting practices are in dire need of an overhaul.

They are disorganized, and actually lied to me yesterday to try to cover up the mistake. Most screwed up outfit i have ever seen. I was due CPAP supplies last January. They misplsced my order and i called and they said ooops, lost the order. They apologized with a giggle and said they would get it out to me. Another month went by and no supplies. I called and again the said there was a mix up and woud get my supplies out immediately. 2 weeks went by and i called again. I was told they were mailed. Another 2 weeks go by. I am sent a UPS tracking number. It was just sent out so they lied. It turned out they got the address wrong and it went to the USPS. i went to the post office and it was returned to the shipper. I have emailed them twice with no response and i just emailed a 3rd time today. My insurance has already paid the bill. If i get CPAP supplies now it will be out of my pocket. This is on top of the $204 my insurane says i owe Care First.

If I could give zero stars I WOULD. Dropped off paperwork from doctors office that was not an actual prescription and received a call saying such which was fine. Waited 2 weeks and NOTHING. So I called back only to be told well we faxed your drs office and got nothing back So you just sent a blind fax to my drs office, no phone call or anything and let me sit and wait for something that was NEVER GOING TO ARRIVE? So I CALL the Dr and they faxed the prescription to them and days later STILL NOTHING. Soooo I call AGAIN and say Did you get the prescription I get Oh yes we did. I described the unit I wanted in detail, (keep in mind we are now an entire month later with this whole thing) ONLY TO GET THE WRONG THING and had to call YET AGAIN. So now its the weekend friday to be exact and they are sending a driver on monday to pick up the wrong unit and bring what I hope is the right one and I am absolutely reporting them to my insurance company so they better not even go to sleep and dream of charging them twice.................(to be continued and what I suspect will be further jacked up with this garbage company)

I worked for this place but could not do it long. They want your business but hace no idea how to process your insurance. Even if your insurance covers your item but they dont know your insurance company guidelines they will bill you. They are not processing your Medicare and insurance properly. This company has many black clients but No black employees or Admin. They have no true concern for you or your loved ones medical care and the way they operate shows it. BE WARE!!

Twice in a row have sent the *same* wrong CPAP mask. Though I gave them UPC #, Mfg Part #, etc. Adding insult, rying to get through to a person, is a horror, you usually have a machine saying leave a voice-mail. Look at the reviews, 15 of 21 (71%) are 1-STAR --> Go elsewhere.
