Anne was incredible!! She took the time to get a box color out of my hair while keeping it strong and healthy and then applied the most vibrant blue!! Couldn’t be more in love.

Tim is the absolute best! He does an incredible job with my long, thick, curly hair. I’ve had a lot of different styles in the several years I’ve been going to him and I always get compliments on my cut and color.

I had A horrible experience, I booked my appointment with Tim A month prior and he canceled on me 2 hours before my appointment and rescheduled me an hour later with Theresa, she was quiet and unfriendly the entire time and made the entire cutting process quite uncomfortable, she shampooed with cold water and her electric clippers weren’t sharp and kept ripping at my hair, as if that wasn’t bad enough she also managed to cut the back of my neck twice by digging them into the base of my head to hard. I left with A horrible cut nothing like what I asked for, and am still trying to regrow the BALD patch she left on my head. I was shaved on one side and had an undercut with this weird bob style on the other. It was an all around horrible experience and I will never be returning as Hair Five O did better on my FIX ME UP cut.

Wow!!! I was in desperate need of a haircut and decided to follow all the positive reviews for Travis at this salon. Oh my goodness!! I have found my new salon! It was clean, beautiful, professional and punctual!! Travis is a sweetheart and such a pro!! He gave me a great cut, and a great education!! I had been using the same hair stylist for 15 years or more before she switched to another career path and chose to do hair part time. For as many options that are available in the area, actually finding a decent hair stylist in Murfreesboro is extremely difficult! I’ve been to countless salons with a plethora of people jacking up my hair for a couple of years now. Stumbled onto Head Trip Hair Studio after it was recommended by a couple of friends and we’re hooked! The salon is conveniently located on the square, adorably decorated and clean. Staff is professional, experienced, warm and inviting. MY DAUGHTER AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COURTNEY! Finally found a salon that sticks with people who actually know what they’re doing. Highly recommend!

This is a true GEM! I live in Chicago and am home for the holidays and was in desperate need of a cut. Travis DELIVERED! I am so thankful to have found this salon. The aesthetic is what drew me to try it, but the salon goes beyond just looking lovely. Travis was extremely professional and did an incredible job with my cut. He recommended/used amazing products in my hair and took the time to style me. All for a really great value, too! HIGHLY recommend this salon! :)

I have been going to see Tim for almost 9 years and have never been disappointed. I’ve recommended countless friends and family members to the salon, and they have all continued to come back for the same reasons! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and Tim does such an amazing job at sharing his artistry and knowledge. If you want the best then this is the place for you!

My experience is very unfortunate. Theresa is a sweet lady but failed to provide what I feel are some very key essentials to serving a client. First off, I may have exchanged 5 words tops with my stylist, this is not my normal experience at the hair salon. Secondly, my hair shampoo was extremely underwhelming between the cold water and what felt to be someone intermittently tugging at my hair. This was then followed by the “trim” that I desired. I asked for my dead ends to be trimmed and some very minimal long layers. The entire experience took 40 minutes exactly. It was an easy trim and long layering nothing fancy. I was easy and asked only for a blow dry seeing as my hair is already straight. I did appreciate how the stylist Theresa double checked to make sure all of the cuts were even and precise. I am sure this may have been an off day for her and I hope this can be a learning experience for other clients in the future. The icing on the cake is that the website for Hair Trip Hair Studio indicates that hair cuts begin at $35. I expected maybe $40, MAYBE $45 for the quickie service I got . NO, I was charged $55, and to top it off I felt that I should tip just to be a good customer and support Theresa in her role. So, $60 later here I am with a below sub-par experience and the realization that I will never return to this salon. I hope the salon lowers how much they charge people for a trim and minimal layering. To be clear I am no stranger to high end salons and what is appropriate to charge. I frequented Salon Visage and paid $60 for the same cut and long layers. The difference is that the hair shampooing was closer to a massage and the client service is beyond reproach.*REVIEW UPDATE: The owner of the salon was extremely gracious and called me personally to apologize for my experience and see how he could make it right. I highly value this type of ownership in an establishment. Thank you for addressing my issue.

Theresa did a great job with my cut and all over color. Just what I was looking for! The shop is also very cute and everyone is super friendly.

From one small business to the next, hands down love this Salon. All the staff are very sweet but the owners Tim and Travis make me feel like I’m part of their family and apart of the neighborhood.My hair was severely damaged and Tim brought my hair back to life. I’m into short, edgy and vibrant colors and he has delivered every time. I came from NYC after having the same hairdresser for over 8 years and so scared to let anyone touch my hair. I trust Tim through and through.I can’t say enough good things.

I’ve been going to Tim since I was a child, he’s the absolute best person to go to if you need your hair done. He’s friendly and professional and does an amazing job! He can follow a picture perfectly and never disappoints!

Anne is the best. She did a silk press on my super curly hair. I would highly recommend her. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and a lot of stylist are like that.

I am new in town and someone had referred me to Charlotte who had recently left Head Trip and moved to a different salon. When I called the salon, the girl that answered the phone was rude first and foremost, said that Charlotte had quit doing hair, which was a lie, refused to give me any info on how to get in touch with her. Very unprofessional! Thank God for social media and I found Charlotte at Salon Envy! I would not go to this salon even if I hadn’t found her. First impression was absolutely appalling!

Ughhh I’m so glad I came here! I literally dread getting my hair done because it’s too much for me to handle, let alone anyone else. Honestly, today’s experience changed that for me. Not only did my stylist, Travis, recommend awesome treatments for my hair, but he took the time to actually dry and style my hair! Y’all. I have lived in Murfreesboro for 6 years and have been traveling out of town for semi decent hair when this salon has been under my nose the whole time! I felt like I had known the staff for years! Everyone was so professional and courteous. I will definitely be back!

Me and my daughter went to this salon for the first time yesterday. We were in a pinch because my prior stylist cancelled our appointments right before my wedding. Dana worked both me and my daughter into her schedule. Absolutely love this salon! Dana did a great job with our color and cuts. She is super sweet, has a very flexible personality and did a great job recommending what we should do with our hair. Prices are very reasonable and they carry one of my favorite product lines, Moroccan Oil. Dana and Head Trip definitely have our vote and future business! Top notch!

I have very thick, semi-wavy hair and Ive left a salon many times in tears or very displeased with what the stylist did (or failed to do) so Im always nervous about visiting a salon. I was referred to Courtney at Head Trip a few years ago while I was living in the Boro for school and Ive never been happier. Courtney listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. She knows how to treat my hair and does so in a timely manner and shes up to date on current styles and techniques. The salon is also very reasonable on pricing which is a plus for me as I normally spend $200+ on color because I end up needing multiple bowls. Sadly I moved back to the Knoxville area, but I think its worth the drive back to the Boro to see Courtney at Head Trip. I love this salon and would reccomend the stylists there to anyone.

I was seen by Stefanie and she was absolutely amazing. Great customer service, very friendly and left feeling like a rock star. I had extremely long and thick hair and she was able to not only help me find a good cut for my face and hair type but also helped me with a style as well! :)

I called on a Tues and just felt like getting my hair done., so I called and Tim made me an appointment for the same day ! We all know that usually almost never happens , but I had an appt with Courtney . And shes awesome , I walked in very clean establishment and everyone was very professional and kind . I was kind of unsure of what exactly I wanted but I just say down, explained my likes and dislikes on my visit to a past salon ..Courtney listened and done her magic! I had caramel highlights and a cut . I had so many compliments on my color and cut ! Very pleased. I found my salon ! Courtney took her time with me and Ive never been more pleased with the outcome! Courtney was fantastic. I went in to this salon on my lunch break pretty desperate with a really bad hair day and hated my bangs so much. She was very positive and did a wash, cut and blow dry for $35. Higher than my normal Paul Mitchell but Im very happy. She made sure to show me how to keep my bangs out of my face and gave me some moisturizing suggestions for my scalp! Im very thankful for this place! Thank you Courtney!

I like my hair dresser Charlotte but the salon is so cold it is uncomfortable. She vcd was nice enough to give me a sweater but it was still cold. The next employee came was complaining too. There is no need to have a place CD that cold. Jot sure I am going back.

I am so thankful that I found this salon! Stephanie was the hair stylist I had and I loved her! She saved me from a horrible experience I had earlier on in my day (It was on Valentines Day). I had visited a salon called Beauty Hair Salon and it was HORRIBLE. The stylist made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unattractive when I left. But Stephanie fixed me up, pampered me, and gave me the haircut I showed her on my phone.She is extremely talented, welcoming, and social.Thanks to my fiance who saw how upset I was when I arrived at his home after the first salon. He called his Barber whom he knew had a wife who worked at a Salon, which is Stephanie. Its crazy how it worked out, now my fiance and I both love our hairstylists!

This was my first time in head trip hair studio. I got my hair done by Courtney Schleicher. I wanted a Blonde highlights and got exactly what I wanted. If you are looking for true blonde highlights with NO yellow blonde Courtney will be your go to person. I’ve been to 4 places in Murfreesboro to try to find the right person and I finally found my go to girl. I was also in and out with a lot of long hair. She listened to exactly everything that I was requesting from her. It’s good to find somebody that’s not stuck in their old ways. I was her last client of the day and she treated me like I was her first.

The best salon in Murfreesboro friendly, welcome, extremely professional cant wait to get back!
