If at all possible avoid this place. They have zero bedside manner. Also when you call they screen the call and hopefully they get back to you. It literally says if if you call more than once it’s going to delay us getting back to you. Obviously people who are calling have real issues so maybe you should expedite your return answering! Also the receptionist or nurse I’m not sure which of the two never knows anything and can never find information on the patient via their portal. Like I said if you have any other options please go there if this place sucks!!!!!!

This place is terrible. They’re giving my grandma the worse service ever as she’s going through the most traumatizing thing of her life. They don’t have any info on her when my family calls to handle her medical needs. They told my grandma “Well you have 4 months to live so go find a hospice” to her face in a RUDE manner & straight face. The people who are coming here for their services deserve respect & patience. If you’re having a bad day don’t take it out on your patients. I’m sure they’re having a rougher time by dealing with having cancer. Please take yourself or loved ones elsewhere ‼️‼️

I have been a patient since August 2007. Thanks to Dr. Davidson, I am still here and am relatively healthy. The medical staff are gentle, kind and well informed. The schedulers are patient and compassionate. You have to keep an eye on your bills. The accounts receivable people tend to upcode from the nurse practitioner to the doctor.

I have been going to the Montgomery Cancer center and Dr. Keith Thompson since March of 2018. Dr.Thompson and his staff are wonderful theyre very personal and caring. My chemo nurse Katherine Stewart has been amazing. Shes always gentle as she possibly can be and she seems to never have a bad day. The volunteers are also very amazing people I dont think Ive ever walked in that building and not been greated by a smiling face from someone who works there.

Today due to the centers COVID rules, which were admitted to me they do make acceptations, I was denied access to the building with my eighty-seven year old father-in law (patient). It turned out to be a total waste of an appointment. After explaining his diminished capacity, hearing issues and memory issues I was still denied. I insisted and a nurse named Kelly was called to the front to speak with me. I further explained that my wife and I are his sole care takers and he cannot take care of his self, eat right or take medicine as prescribed without our daily attention. He does not drive or set his own doctor appointments as our schedules have to be consulted. After this explanation nurse Kelly took my name and number and said when he was in an exam room they would call and let me come back and be present to participate in the exam discussion. After an hour sitting outside in the heat (which was ok) I get a call and was asked if I had any questions for the doctor. I said yes, why am I not being allowed to attend the exam. I was told the call would be to let me in and go to the exam room. The nurses answer was the initial basic hand in the face I received at the front door to begin with. I understand medical terms, test results and blood workups and only with the knowledge of those results can I formulate any questions for the doctor or catch any changes they make that may adversely contradict his four other doctors treatments. I missed out on all of those details, so no I have no questions. Shame on Montgomery Cancer Center for being so inconsiderate. Next time I will have a power of attorney in hand, I hope that is not met with resistance. I have taken my mother and F.I.L. to the Cancer Center for several years with no problems. My mother is drooped off and I wait knowing she for now can make her own decisions without on the spot council from family. The FI.L. can no longer. I give a ONE STAR rating for today day only as all other days in the past years have been nothing short of exemplary.

Phone calls almost always end up on voice mail, and often calls dont get returned. Today I received a copy of my records because I moved, and it had some glaring errors. Yes youll see a lot of testimonies from people who felt everyone was carrying and helpful, but trust me, they are overworked and errors are likely.

A rude female collections employee called me at approximately 1915 hours on 11/25/2019 asking if I was aware of my outstanding balance. I explained that several weeks prior I had spoken with a (polite) male employee whom I had informed that I would pay one of the 4 invoices in full each month with the exception of December. The male employee indicated that that was acceptable. I had already paid the oldest invoice on November 1. The female employee stated that I could not skip the payment in December and constantly tried to talk over me. I informed her that the matter was not open to discussion and forbade her to call me in the future as she would be charged with misdemeanor harassing communications if she did so.The medical staff are courteous, caring professionals. This one rude female in the billing department needs an attitude adjustment.

Every time I take my mom to the cancer center. The staff is so helpful. My mom is disabled and I struggle with getting her in and out of the car. They are always right there to help. The doctors, nurses, phlebotomist, and techs are all so helpful and professional. The environment is calm and loving. Going there has been a great experience for our family. Also this is the best Starbucks ever.

Doctors and nurses have excellent bedside manner and create a positive atmosphere despite the obvious hardships the patients are facing. Doctors are experienced and patient when fielding questions from consultees. I cant imagine a better environment for consultations/treatments.

2018As a nurse myself I pay a lot of attention to certain things for 2 reasons, one is to see if theres new things I can learn & other is like majority of folks and that is to make sure meds, test, treatment etc. is right. Not to critique, criticize, or judge anyone. But I do for cleanliness, organization, time, staffing & how patients are treated. Ill have to say that MCC has got it together & doing a great job. They have plenty of kind, compassionate volunteers that are easy to spot with the special clothing they wear. Theyll walk you to each stop your required to make before seeing your doctor & youll need some assistance to weave your way thru the srea of patients. If youre to see Dr. Davidson then youll like his bedside manner. Hes kind, compassionate has a sense of humor & makes you feel comfortable. He will explain medical information in terms youll understand & makes sure you do to along with plan of care. If you must go to see a oncologists or cancer center then MCC is the place to go. Even have a Starbucks ☕Cons: parking especially when it rains.☔
