I have been to Cara & company twice now and have loved each experience. Cameron was the first stylist to cut my hair and she did a great job. She was personable, professional and gave me just what I wanted. She is the reason I came back, however she was booked up a month out (not surprisingly) so I scheduled with Whitney for the second appointment. And just like Cameron, she was easy to talk to yet professional. She took her time on my hair and it turned out fantastic 😊 needless to say, I will be a returning customer. Thank you ladies ♥️

Cara & Company will be my salon as long as I am in Mobile! My very first time, the receptionist, Kayla got me in the same day! I cut about 14 inches off for the first time in my life, so I was definitely nervous. Nikki made my experience great and did an amazing job. Not sure if ill ever go long again! The salon was very clean, had TONS of professional products and offered every service you can think of. I cant wait to go back for my trim in a few weeks! 😁 #caraandcompanymobile

The reason for this rating is not because I had to wait several minutes to be greeted. I had an appointment scheduled because I had a family emergency and a sudden need to attend a funeral. When I was greeted I was unapologetically told my stylist was running very behind. I asked if there was anything they could do or any solution to try to fit me in in a timely manner. They were unable to problem solve and showed absolutely no remorse for putting me in a very unfortunate bind. I have been going here for over a year. I have had other negative experiences previously (over 6 months ago) such as properly scheduling services and then being told they “didn’t have time” to do everything I scheduled. I have had positive experiences here as well.... but the unapologetic attitude and careless demeanor is what drove me to leave this review. I completely follow and respect all pandemic guidelines and feel sympathetic as well as understanding that current circumstances such as staffing shortages and new protocols just need compliance and grace—however I feel my experience had absolutely nothing to do with these circumstances. Politeness, empathy, and problem solving know no boundaries. If these traits are important to you I would not recommend this salon.

Very few places impress my husband or kid. We will be returning!

I have been coming to Cara and co for years. some of the reasons I keep coming back are: it’s clean, comfortable, everyone is friendly, I am ALWAYS seated immediately and leave on time. Most importantly, they do a great job cutting and coloring my hair!

The people are really nice and kind but my hair was super fizzy in the end and then later I noticed that my hair wasn’t cut even. That and there was a long strand that was missed. I expected better for their high prices. I’m giving two stars because they were friendly but that’s it.

From start to finish I had such an amazing experience. The guy at the front was so friendly and so professional! Then there’s Wells.... AMAZING!!! I showed her 3 pictures of haircuts that I wanted transformed into 1!! When I tell you she exceeded my expectations! Not to mention she’s super sweet!! Will definitely be seeing them again soon!!

Cara and Company is the most professional salon I have ever been to. I don’t recall ever having to wait for my scheduled appointment. I love all the team members at C&C, especially Wells. She is up on new techniques, and will suggest style improvements, although never cuts without my full input and agreement. This week is the week for my scheduled for my cut and color; even after 5+ weeks my hair looks really good- their products are good quality and not hard on my purse. In a nutshell an outstanding business.

Today I did the student class it is absolutely the most amazing experience Ive ever had at a salon I cannot wait to go back when they have this again because I love sitting there and talking to my stylist about everything that she is trying to do with her career I had the amazing Hannah today I absolutely loved her she was such an amazing person to work with and I was very excited she was understanding about what was wrong with my hair and how she was able to fix it and that my hair looks absolutely amazing I will definitely be recommending everyone is so nice and welcoming and so loving I cannot wait to go back.

I am so glad I found Cara & Company! Chasity is my stylist and I honestly have never had a better stylist. She is very perceptive and helped me find a hair style that fits within my busy life. Interior is smart and stylish. Staff was extremely prompt and friendly even though I was a walk-in. My stylist Morgan was knowledgeable and talented. All in all a very comfortable, fast, fun and affordable salon!

I am OBSESSED with this amazing place! Ive been going to Cara and Co for years and have gone through lots of changes with my hair but have never once left feeling anything but gorgeous. I constantly get asked where I get my hair done and I always send all my friends to Cara and Co. I see Nicki but recognize many of the amazing staff Cara has! This group of hair stylists is so much more than that theyre magicians with blow dryers as their magic wands!! I had gone to the same stylist in TX for my entire life but I lived in Mobile 2 years before deciding it was time I found a stylist Ive been going there since that day over 2 years ago! I highly suggest this amazing salon for all your hair needs their prices are great and you will NOT be disappointed by any member of their team! They know exactly what my hair needs and no matter what crazy thing I ask for (pink, red, blonde) they do it with ease! A must visit!!!

Got a great haircut (wash, cut and style) by Wells. Came back for just a trim. Arrived for my appointment ten minutes early, was taken back 15 minutes after my appointment time. No big deal. Sat in the chair, and Wells said that it may be best to trim my hair dry and said we could wash it after if I wanted. No big deal either, I didn’t really care about getting my hair washed. She wore gloves while doing my hair which I found strange and it made my hair very staticky. (My hair was not dirty or anything- not sure why she wore gloves lol).Anyways, the whole evolution took about 8 minutes in total. I was charged $48, which is the same amount I was charged last time I got the whole 9. $50 for less than 10 minutes of work? That’s a rip off. Just because I’m a woman and therefore it’s apparently a “women’s haircut.” This salon should consider making their prices more specific to the service being received. I won’t be back- not because of poor service, but because I feel like I was cheated.

I got my haircut with Mary Beth Tait and she was so nice and helpful. She explained all the products she put in my hair and what they do. It was my first time there and I can now say this is where Ill always get my hair cut in Mobile.

All of the stylists are great, but Mariet and I “click.” She always knows just what I want and need and always squeezes in a brow wax for me too!!! The salon itself is GORG and so welcoming and clean. I always run into a friend or two while getting my hair done! This is THE place to go in Mobile. #caraandcompanymobile

I absolutely love this salon!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the entire place is super clean, and everyone is extremely courteous. I started going here July 25, 2018 and will never go anywhere else. In April 2018, I had this wonderful idea to get a perm. Yes, I said a perm. This was done at another salon and it left my hair severely damaged. I literally hated my hair and would toss it in a ball daily to avoid having to style it. I decided the best thing to do would be to cut off a lot of length to get rid of the damage. I called Cara and Company to set up an appointment with Wells. Best decision ever! I showed her what I was wanting, which included bangs. Bangs made me nervous because I imagine the Courteney Cox bangs circa 2005. Thankfully, my hair turned out exactly how I wanted! I am still getting compliments on my hair to this day and I owe that to Wells aka my hairs soulmate.So, if you are on the fence about trying Cara & Company, do it! This place is truly amazing!! I messaged on fb at 630 last night hoping for an appointment today. I wasnt even sure if that was possible last minute and for a Saturday. Morgan immediately messaged me back and set me up. I wasnt feeling well had a bad migraine but she was so awesome. She did such an amazing job and did exactly what i was hoping and brought my hair back to life. She is such a sweet heart and i told her i can tell she really loves her job and what she does. I am a single mom and dont have the funds or time to pamper myself regularly but she so did that for me and im so happy i went and seen her. I will be going back. This is a great company and has a great atmosphere and is truly about making the customer happy and comfortable and i will be recommending to all my friends. Thanks again Morgan!!
