Excellent service. Dr. Liam McCarthy is super nice. I bring my mother every year for Lumbar Injection, I highly recommend this place. My experience was awesome, everyone I had to deal with was better then I expected.I was never told to wait in the parking lot , also the parking lot it’s not gross .I always wait for my mother to go inside with the nurse , and like waiting in my car.

Dirty place in a not so good area. Not what you want to see when dropping a loved one off for surgery. Staff is non communicative. My husband was supposed to be out in 2 hrs. I called to ask and they told me it would be two hours more. As this is happening in a lot of reviews this is their routine and no matter how many people they upset they don’t change their ways.Even 2 hrs later my husband was not released. I was told to wait in the parking lot which is really gross and no one should be left waiting in a parking lot. This place is like a third world country.

This place is beyond disrespectful and drama for days between themselves. The first time I came to have a procedure done I heard the nurses having drama between them in front of patients such as myself that are about to have surgery, then nurses complaining about forms they need to fill out now about hours and to top it off the anesthesiologist having a full blown argument on the phone in front of patients. The nurse even had to tell him keep it down and step away. Second time around my surgery was scheduled for 9:30am, came earlier by a few minutes (15min) to be exact, almost 3 hours later, empty stomach and I wasn’t being called. They are nice but they kill you with kindness and deceit. It’s almost as if they read a script they are given. If you can chose another location do so!! This is not the place unless you like to freely waste your time!! No Stars!!!!!

The client service is terrible. For my whole career I have worked as a receptionist at 3 different medical offices. To have inadequate communication with the families of the patients is completely unacceptable. When my parents had originally gone in they were assured that the procedure would not take more than 20 minutes, today when me, my dad and my mom showed up for surgery, we waited by the front door for 10 minutes and there was a bell so we presumed that we were meant to ring it. After ringing the bell the receptionist (or whichever staff member was at the front desk) just sat down and continued talking to another staff member. My dad rang the bell again and slowly she walked to the window and obviously annoyed asked who was here. We informed her of my moms name 3 times. Then she just dismissed my dad and I, told us the family wasn’t allowed to be inside. We then asked how long the process should take and very she dryly said 4 hours and we were dismissed. This all happened this morning around 11 am, we then did not hear from them at all until 3ish, then they told us it would 30 more minutes and she would be ready to home. We then did not hear from them for 45 minutes so my dad decided to call back just to make sure everything was okay because my mom comes out of anesthesia poorly and she has never done it without him, so you can imagine his stress levels are extremely high at this point, as well as mine. At 3:45 they said to pull up to the front, so we did. Then we waited at the front for 30 more minutes after my mom was supposedly on her way down. So then my dad pulled off to the side so we weren’t in anyone’s way. He then tired to call again, BUT THEY HAD TURNED THEIR PHONES OFF. We had absolutely no communication with them and my mother who does not come out of anesthesia well. At this point, 45 minutes after we were told my mom was on her way down we are completely panicked at this point. I went up and tried to get someone’s attention with no success because the office staff had gone home for the day. Then my dad at this point extremely panicked because we had no idea if my mom was okay or healthy, went up and tried to get someone’s attention. He was banging on the door and ringing the bell with no success. Then we waited and waited for another 30 minutes and they still had not brought her down. My dad again went up and finally spoke with a staff member who said they were bringing her down, which they did. Then when the nurse came, my dad let her know it was unacceptable to have the phone completely off like that while families are still waiting for patients. The nurse was very nice, and apologetic and explained what had happened which we appreciated. But we absolutely should have been informed what was going on, why it was taking longer and we should have been able to contact the office. Plain and simple this is absolutely unacceptable.

There seem to be a few personal vendettas played out in the other reviews for the surgical center. I have no idea what those people are talking about. The surgical center is great. The wait was minimal, the care was wonderful (both pre-op and post-op), and the staff was personable, professional, and attentive.

Administrator has no medical experience and puts high demands on staff to rush cases, by rearranging the patients gurneys into different numbered spaces. The place can run itself with professional staff only; she adds confusion when she is there. This is unsafe practice. She will push the next patient into the substerile room, with their personal items (shoes, clothing, phones) waiting solo for the case before to end, while the operated patient leaves the OR and passes the next patient in the substerile area. Unacceptable practice. This administrator had not had the monitors and equipment safety checked properly until a Biomedical Engineer and an Anesthesia member confronted these issues.Surgery Partners CEO, Mike Doyle, was notified and appeared to be not bothered with patient safety and other issues, including bullying by the administrator. This administrator is losing her ace members that have been doing all of her work. She rarely works and comes in to push cases faster. She pays her employees money from SurgeryPartners petty cash and pretends that she has done the work, while giving them added hoursto make her look like she knows her job.State Department will be requested to visit frequently.Cuadado Aqui, Por Favor.
