He has always been great with my kids he is a awesome doctor

One of the best pediatricians I know. My child is medically complex and he is always on top of things. Everyone around here knows that if your child is medically complex/ special needs he is the one to take your child to. His staff is really awesome too!

We had a general wellness visit for my kiddos ages 3 years and the other 3 months. The nurses were friendly, considerate and gentle although one didnt get a true weight on my 3 month old because the headband, socks and diaper were left on. The office itself is not very child friendly if you have to wait an extended period of time. From the moment Dr. Carnahan entered the room he sighed and groaned as if he did not want to be there. Didnt really ask us any detailed questions and didnt act as if he cared. He barely looked over the charts we had filled out about their development. My 3 year old is pretty shy and will barely look at new people. When it came time to look in his mouth Dr Carahan barely worked with him at all before he started jamming and prying his mouth open with the stick. All together he acted like it was just another day on the job that he didnt want to be at and he didnt care.

The staff and Dr.s care and understanding of a special needs child surpassed my expectations. Dr.Carnahan also sees all of my grandchildren, finally a pediatrician who goes that extra mile.

Dr. Carahan and his nurse are amazing! I love how he will take the time to explain things and give you options about how to go about situations with childrens medication.

Always a great experience! Dr.Carnahan is a great pediatrician.

He treated my family poorly when I had my son at 32w via emergency c-section, he even called Freeman NICU off from coming for my preemie all because he felt like another doctor overstepped by calling them before he made his “assessment”. He’s egotistical and withholding help that my child needed is not okay. 👎🏻
