Ive been calling since last week to try and resolve an issue. After 3 hours of constant transferring and incompetence, I was unable to resolve any of my problems and I was back to square one. By the way, if they say someone will contact you, dont expect a call back.I would never recommend this insurance and I beg you, if youre looking into resolving a problem in a timely manner, this is definitely not the place.The only saving grace was Ginger, who genuinely tried to help me through the issue and was also appalled to hear my problem was not resolved since last week.

This by far is the worse company. As a patient I had to call them on a claim and ended up being transferred from Brenda to Christy to Alex (who dropped the call). I called back and spoke to Tiffany who transferred me to Linda, who seemed to at least have a better understanding of the issue. Linda was helpful and advised me on how to proceed in filing a claim and even participated on a conference call with Blue Cross Blue Shield. After a few weeks of getting the invoices from the doctor, I called back to speak to Linda. Got Alex (who once again non responsive ) so I finally got Esther (who wouldn’t assist me in speaking to Linda) and she told me to submit a 1500 claim form which I never heard of. When asked if she could send it to me, she told me they don’t have the forms in the office and to Google so I did. Needed a bit of guidance on filling it out so I called back and spoke to Terry. I asked her if I could leave a message for Linda and once again there was no effort to assist me with speaking to Linda, more like push back (seemed like Linda was in the witness protection program) so I proceeded to explain the situation and how to fill out a 1500 form, and she asked me “what is a 1500 form!” Then she proceeded to tell me I couldn’t file a claim because it was past 180 days and that they wouldn’t even consider it, so not sure why I wasn’t told that by Linda in the first place! You kidding me!! Anyway horrible company. Did speak to Jonathan in the “escalation” department and he was very apologetic and indicated he would follow up.

Horrible! Just horrible! Cant ever get them to return calls and all lines always goes to voicemail. Over 1 year trying to get them to approve one piece of paper. Why is a company in FL running WV medicaid? Further why are they running their business like the mafia? (This is from a providers point of view, not a patients, hopefully the patients can get medical care still, but many providers are not taking any insurance that has anything to do with Beacons many many subsidiaries often now)

First off, of the 9 times Ive called Beacon Health Options in the past two months, theyve picked up THREE TIMES. I have Humana Medicaid insurance and I would have to call Humana every single time I wanted to speak with someone at Beacon Health because every time I called their direct line, NO ONE would pick up (I called during regular office hours).Secondly, of the list of doctors I received directly from Beacon Health Options for psychiatric help, only 1 of the 7 psychiatrists were willing to:1) accept my insurance (yes you heard that correctly. the list of providers that I received DIRECTLY from my insurance were UNABLE TO TAKE THE INSURANCE!)2) offer services to outpatients (people who arent admitted into a mental hospital).3) and even offer services (I was redirected to doctor offices who didnt offer psychiatric help MORE OFTEN than I should have).Heres the real kicker: I will not be going to that psychiatrist after finding out that specific psychiatrist has MANY bad reviews for prescribing his patients the WRONG medicines and dosages. So I will unfortunately have to continue struggling with my mental illnesses for several more years without getting the help I desperately need.GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is terrible! What an awful insurance company for providers. Are they even real? Get your stuff together folks! Is there anyone working in provider relations? Hello? Bueler? Bueler? Bueler?
