I have to say that I am very lucky that I live in Miami where Austin Medical Supply is located. From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted by Martha and introduced to the Dreamscape 2 CPAP by Phillips. I had the Dreamscape 1 with my previous insurance but it had been recalled and I was now without a machine. Martha is very knowledgeable and was great in presenting me with the pros and cons of different manufacturers. Since I had been using the Dreamscape 1 I felt that my best option was to buy the Dreamscape 2 outright and then expense it to Cigna toward my deductible. That way I didnt have to go through all the hoops waiting for my insurance company to make the purchase for me. I got a great price on the machine and felt comfortable with the upgrades Phillips has made. I have been using the new CPAP since then. Thus far the product has been great. Martha assured me that if anything goes wrong to please contact her or, in my case, just drop in! All in all, my experience was excellent with Austin Medical Supply.

He offered to wait for me at his job or even pass by his home to get the machine. Manny kindly came in the middle of the night in an emergency situation to bring us a new oxygen concentrator for my elderly mother when her old one broke down. She must be on oxygen constantly and cannot breathe without it. She also, with her COPD, cannot breathe deep enough to use the portable oxygen tanks.He was so knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions on the phone on how to keep her calm and using a portable until he could get here with the new oxygen concentrator.His service, the new equipment, was all above and beyond what excellent caring service is all about. In town on vacation when my father realized he was missing a part for his cpac. We quickly realized most medical supplies stores were closed on a Saturday at almost 5pm. We got in touch with Manny and he was beyond nice and accommodating. Manny at Austin Medical really came through for me. I was on vacation and spending the night in Miami before our cruise the next day and didn’t realize I forgot to pack the rubber spacer on my water tank lid. I use a soclean sanitizing machine at home that uses a special lid and you have to use the original spacer on it. When I packed my cpap I forgot to get the spacer. The machine will not run without the spacer and I was up all night in Miami looking tho find a cpap store near my hotel. I called the next morning and Manny answered his personnel mobile phone on a Sunday at 9:00am. We were literally leaving for our cruise ship in two hours when I called. Manny was able to take my credit card info over the phone and had the part I needed delivered to my Miami hotel within 30 minutes. I found Austin Medical Supply some years ago when after changing medical insurance I needed to get replacement CPAP masks which were not covered by the new carrier. I spoke with Manny over the phone and from the beginning the excellent attention and his knowledge was quite evident. Last year my father-in-law caught pneumonia while visiting Florida and the doctors would not let him fly home without a portable oxygen machine. I looked around on the internet to determine the best machine and then I shopped around for pricing. The best price was from L & M Resources. But even better than the price was Manny who delivered it right to our door the same evening and instructed us on how to use it. Manny is the nicest guy, so friendly and knowledgeable and he delivered it at night with a smile. I thought I would never see him again. Then today, almost a year later, I called a CPAP manufacturer for a referral to an authorized dealer who would fix my 10 year old discontinued cpap machine and they gave me a number for servicing my machine in Miami.
