I recently just graduated from Celebrity School of Beauty in Miami for Full Specialist. It is an amazing school and the staff is also great. While I was attending my Skin Care teacher was Mrs. Cristina and my Nail teacher was Mrs Maria....they where both very knowledgeable of their craftsmanship and works one with students and builds great teacher/ student relationship. I would recommend this Celebrity for anyone trying to make sure they well trained in any cosmetology course.

I called last week to talk to someone from admissions because I was interested on skin care program. The lady who answered the phone picked up my number to have someone calling me back. No one called. I called back today and the receptionist told me the same thing. I said I just had a few questions and I tried to talk to someone earlier with no success. She said I am sorry we are very busy. It is the second attempt and the school shows no intention of getting new students. I told her, then I am going to seek else that is not as busy to spend my money.How unprepared and unprofessional was this person who picked up the business phone.

Celebrity beauty school of Miami is in amazing school to go to if you are into nails, hair, make up, and skin. I am in the nail technician program and both teachers Ms Carolina and Ms Jenny are great. They explain everything in detail and everything is hands-on, they adapt to how the kids learn best whether it’s Spanish or English they make it easy for everybody to learn what they need to know. You learn the basics and all of the latest trends. There’s never a dull moment in the school there is always smiles and laughter I would recommend the school to anybody!!!!

They are very nice. I have gotten my hair done and Selena was very sweet. I have also done my nails with rosa and they are very polite. Even though they are learning through the process, they do an excellent work.

I absolutely love this school. I came in already having Knowledge of makeup but I have learned and grown so much in only a few months. This school has taught me to get out of my comfort tone and try things I’ve never done. The staff is great feels like family every time I come in to school. Bleached half of my hair even though I only asked for a balayage, then wouldnt let me use my $30 groupon..When I went back to get it fixed they highlighted the rest of my hair with more bleach so I went from being brunette to a bleached blonde and Im now out of $70. Both times they let me leave with wet hair so I couldnt even tell what the results were until I was home and it was too late. Receptionist was so rude as well, no costumer service whatsoever. I do not blame the student hair stylist, but if they couldnt do what I asked for they should have said that.

I know people who studied there and dont even know how to make a cut. Poor women feel frustrated, and how they will find work if they do not have the necessary practice to work. That school is a shame and the only thing they care about is getting the money they dont teach well and they dont care about the student. This school does not know what a Celebrity is or has never even been close to one. The owners are only interested in your money. My friend goes here and tells me all kinds of bad stories. She is now leaving school and owes a huge debt for nothing! How? she only went to school for a few weeks.

As a student of cosmetology, I would tell you to stay away from this school. Their teaching methods make no sense, and their entire staff has a bad attitude. The owner, Gladys, a lady with red hair, has disrespected me and my co-students various times. Theyve overcharged for supplies and dont want to give me an explanation as to where my money has gone. I received a kit that totals to about $600 worth of supplies, and I was charged over twice that amount ($1600+). Theyre completely disorganized, so much so that I had to ask multiple times to get my nail and facials kit, after completing the practice and tests for those subjects. Multiple times theyve run out of lightener, foils, and even gloves while doing services on THEIR clients/customers. Ive been told to stop practicing on other students because I have to service customers they get paid for. This school is nothing but a scam. Dont waste your time or money. It isnt worth the hassle or annoyance they put you through. Not to mention, no one speaks English. Their entire staff is primarily Spanish speaking and will start to give you attitude when they dont understand you. STAY CLEAR OF CELEBRITY SCHOOL OF BEAUTY!

I wanted to study here after BSA closed, but they wanted to charge me way too much. I went to another school, and they accepted my credits and cost me only half of what it would have been here.

This place has improved tremendously! I received a 1 hour massage for $30 from a student. It was relaxing and ok. Afterwards, I received a free haircut and it was fantastic! Best haircut in a long time! For a student barber, he was an ace at it! The staff was pleasant and professional. Nice positive vibe. All the students looked like they enjoyed being there. The waiting area, restroom and service area was clean and well maintained. I recommend it. I will be back.

I have been to Celebrity school of beauty several times for a variety of services. It began with a Facial given by my girlfriend whom was a student there, then she practiced waxing my nose and eyebrows (I love her so much I couldnt say no although I was terrified, it didnt hurt after all), and then she introduced me to the barber students whom have been giving me fades and shaves ever since. My girlfriend graduated and the school helped her find a job at a high end spa immediately and shes so happy doing what she loves. Although shes long gone I still frequent the school, its hard to leave a place thats so warm and friendly- almost like family. I highly recommend this school because the teachers and staff are really concerned with their students as well as the clients. They speak English and Spanish but youll find students from around the world there which I think is cool. For the Bros reading this review give the barbers a try-they wont let you down.

Stay away from this school!!! Im a current student and trust me when I say all they care about is getting your money. Long story short the staff and the owner are super rude and wont give you any time of day if you dont speak Spanish. The owner always threatening to lock you out the classroom if you are late. Barley any teacher or staff know english. In the makeup course I ended up having 5 different teachers and one of them ended up being a guy who was a student himself. In the skincare class the teacher is wonderful but the school is always complaining on how much we use the products even tho some of us never got kits. If you wanna practice wax which is something you must learn in the class they tell you it can only be during the chapter or else bring in your own stuff or pay. The machines that you need to learn dont work. The sheets and towels you use on clients are disgusting. I still havent gone to the nail class which I already feel is gonna be another horrible mess. Im only staying in this school because Im almost done! Dont waste your time just pay a little more and go somewhere else.

Just to start Im going to tell you how how my life has shifted after going to this school. I got my certification and license a month after I graduated. Before I even graduated, I was already freelancing for a great brand called MAC Cosmetics thanks to a reference from one of the teachers. After a few months my managers loved how I worked because I applied what I learn in school in real life and I became a permanent MAC artist. Not only do I work for MAC but I freelance on my own and make extra money. On top of that, to put my esthetician license to good use I am going to be working for MAC and start doing lash extensions on my days off to make even more money.I do what I love everyday and work is no longer a struggle to wake up to. People love and appreciate my work and see the love that I have for what I do. Yes the school you go to has a lot to do with it but the love and determination you have for something has a lot to do with it as well. Surrounding yourself with positive people is key. Complaining about small negative pointless things are not going to pay you or get you anywhere in life!This school has not only shown me the basics but also shown me that I can be much more than I thought I would and that has meant the world to me. I’ve been through about 3 girls now going to the school for my hair. I have done a blonde balayage, blonde with pink and purple highlights, blonde with purple highlights and fully purple. My hair is naturally black and curly and it is still super healthy. I have never been more satisfied with a salon service.

Went to this school to study makeup and skincare! I learned so much from my makeup teacher, Teacher Maidelys and from my two skincare teachers, Teacher Eloisa and Teacher Osiel. All of the professors at the school know their stuff and are really nice and professional. The whole student body and faculty give off a great vibe. It feels like family here. By the way the teacher Teresa super sweet heart but most of all the entire staff and of what I found from searching every single school in Miami Dade County except for the public school system which you know how they operate I found that Celebrity School of Beauty was by FAR!!!!!! the most affordable at the time over $5000.00 cheaper. Also the principle Daykel Menendez will most likely be the one processing your paper work and only one word describes this man (Perfect) and that is a fact !!!!!!!! and job placement is for SURE!!!!!! Several machines are in very bad condition in the facial laboratory. It has been that way for months and they were never repaired or changed.
