I’ve been calling for 2 weeks and still have yet to speak to anyone. As a new patient I will be switching to a different office that answers their phone

I went to my Drs Appt this morning with Dr Monge. When he walked in we went over why I was there quickly then he asked me if I had taken my covid vaccine shot. I informed him that I havent and I will not. He asked me why and I told him because of personal reasons. He kept insisting that I tell him why. I kept telling him that I did not want to and that it was personal. That whatever he said was not going to change my mind and I did not want to talk about it. He asked if anyone was vulnerable in my house and i said yes my parents. He asked if they were taking the shots and I told him they would not. Again he asked why they werent and I said thats their personal decision. He proceeded to talk to me about the shot and taking it etc... after I asked him multiple times I did not want to talk about it and wanted to move on with what I was really there for. I told him if he kept talking about it I was going to leave. He then continued to try to strong arm me and try to talk me into to getting the shot and why he thought I should. I told him that was his opinion and then since he would not move past taking the shots I told him I was leaving and left.This is not something patients should be subjected to. This feels like bullying to me. No matter how many times I told him I did not want to take the shot and did not want to talk about it, he kept on. He did not respect my wishes. No means no and he was not standing for it. I felt incredibly uncomfortable (which I told him) and incredibly angry that he could not respect my personal decision. I really think something needs to be done with Drs who may be trying to bully patients into doing something they do not want to do. This is not right and I am willing to bring this into attention not just for me but for any other patients that may be subject to their Dr subjecting them to this treatment. Something needs to be done. Not sure if he only does this with his male patients too but this is unacceptable!

This has been my PCP for many years. They are very accommodating and are open on Saturdays.

Long phone waiting time, doctors are never free and hey never really call you back
