A great fitness center currently open to employees of the University of Miami. Strong and safe safety measures and workout sessions are made by appointment to control the number of people in the facility at one time.

Great space: two floors, open with walls of glass and lots of natural light. Never super busy. Impressive equipment (free weights, pin-weighted machines, etc.), clean locker rooms with steam/sauna/towels, friendly staff, and parking validation.

I really enjoy going to the UHealth Fitness & Wellness Center. Great staff and a vast variety of fitness classes. Plus trainers and health classes. So happy to have found it. Recommended by my health insurance company. To add if you are a county worker, public school employee you are eligible for a membership discount.

What an awesome gym. State of the art machines,free weights, wet sauna and pool and a hot tub to soak in after a good workout.Its on the ninth floor and has a great view of the city and MIA in the distance. The showers are immaculate and the staff is great. All at a great monthly rate with no long term commitment.

This fitness center is located in South area of Miami.. The University of Miami offers There patient treatment at this Fitness center.. The employees are helpful with the patient needs.. They explain all the Use of the equipment and how Using it Effects the body..The center has patient of All ages and sex .It worth visiting and professional staff members are knowledgeable.

Ive gone to almost every gym in Miami and hands down this is the best one ever. Heres why:1. Its affordable and they allow you to pay month by month. If youre a student you get a discount.2. They offer locker rentals for only $10.00 a month.3. They give you access to free work out towels and bath towels with no additional fees.4. They have a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for the men and the women.5. They provide free parking during specific hours- 5 am- 8am and 5pm till 9 pm.6. They have 2 huge floors filled with equipment Ive never seen before. Its all high tech stuff that the University of Miami Sports Medicine supports.7. None of the equipment is broken. When it is they fix it immediately whereas 24 hour fitness has a ton of equipment thats always broken.8. They have an in house Mediterranean cafe with great prices and a healthy menu.9. They offer training at only $40 /hr whereas you pay almost $60/hr at 24 hr fitness.10. The place has AC !11. The water fountains conveniently located offer cold water all the time.12. The gym is always empty.13. Offers the best views over the 836. The sunsets are amazing.14. They offer all the latest classes like Zumba etc15. You get to work out with all the Doctors from Jackson Memorial hospital and the University of Miami hospital!! And theyre super good looking. So if youre single you have no excuse!!Ive tried to hide this secret gem... But I must share it with you!!!This is honestly the best gym ever!!

This place has all the equipment youll ever need. Two story glass walls and its filled w/cool, if not air conditioned air. The people are great.

One of the nicest gyms in Miami, It is on the 9th Floor of the UM Soffer Research Center and has a full 180 view of Miami, It is an all glass building which makes the view even better.The machines are well maintained and never overcrowded, You rarely have to wait for a machine which is an issue in many other gyms, A nice perk is that you get a free towel every time you go into the gym, They also provide daily lockers for free.Definitely recommend this gym especially if you work at the medical campus.

Id give this a 3.5. This is a very nice facility, especially considering the surrounding gyms in the area. Its quite clean, spacious, and has everything you need. However, I do have suggestions...1. The advertised hot tub doesnt seem like its cleaned as often as it should be.2. There is a lot of dust, especially near the handrails upstairs. Youll see it fly all over the place if you stretch there.3. There could be more regular bench press areas.4. The music... its either a god-awful repetition of the top 10 in the radio, or completely unpredictable. The latter is certainly preferred.5. Employees dont really do anything about users flouting the rules (i.e. no crossfit-type lifts where someone loudly drops a fully-loaded barbell, no warnings when a gung-ho group decides to loudly and repeatedly throw a heavy ball on the floor to the point where everyone notices and everything shakes).Its a nice facility, but it could use better management and more cleanliness.

Stunning, clean, and has all of the newest equipment. The view from the second floor is amazing. The best part is that classes are included in the membership, so you can do a wide range of classes from pilates and spinning, to yoga.

Clean, nice staff, lots of equipment so you dont spend much time waiting. The only things its missing are a true lap pool and a speed bag (they have a heavy bag). They have a small pool for aerobics, but cant do laps. The looker room is nice, with its own sauna, hottub, etc.

The gym itself its very spacious and it has an amazing view ...equipment its decent variety and condition. The reason Im not giving a 5 star review its because of the staff who works there. Very antisocial and no customer service skills . Im not looking or expecting the fake smile and the fake cheerful mood but I do expect the minimum required as a public place ... all the staff needs proper training starting with the manager

The two floor gym has a wide range of machines and weights for cardio, lifting, and exercise classes. The gym has a great view of downtown Miami and marlins stadium. Very friendly atmosphere and plenty of space and equipment for everyone.

If people rate this higher than 2 stars, they have never been to a good gym. Admittedly Miami is full of gyms with bad equipment, and gym owners who obviously dont know or care to have good equipment. Life Fitness cant make a machine to save their life. 95% of the machines are garbage. Try hand selecting pieces from Panatta, Atlantis, Pendulum, Power lift, Flex Fitness/Star Trac, a few pieces from Cybex are good.... Life Fitness is the worst, along with Hoist and Technogym garbage.Pathetic!!

Knowledgeable staff, clean locker rooms, great classes. Off-peak hours mean personalized attention. Peak hours are 4:30-7pm

Horrible equipment. Terrible life fitness garbage equipment as well. When will they update and buy cherry picked equipment from the true leaders in strength equipment: Panatta equipment, UCS spirit, Atlantis Strength, Rogers Athletic Pendulum, Prime (Strive), etc... Life Fitness is garbage!!!! Anyone who cares about strength equipment knows this... They desperately need better machines.LIFE FITNESS, MATRIX, Technogym are Garbage!!! Why cant someone open up a real gym in Miami??? This place has horrible machines...

Gym is great, friendly people. Early in the morning and late at night is usually not bisy at all.

I like the environmenr and staff. Also there are enough equipment but the music is weak and womens showers are always full of long hair! Disgusting. Hottub is broken for more than a month now and sometimes the swimming pool is not open in its working hours.

The one towel policy enforced lately is not great for sauna users. Do you really want to be wiping your face with the same towel you use to sit in a sauna? Hmmm bacteria!!! This gym is part of a Medical Center, let my people take two towels oyve!
