I had an endoscopy/colonoscopy performed. Every interaction was perfect (or so close to perfect that I had no complaints). From admission to pre-procedure, to the procedure, to recovery, it was all great. There is a different medical technician/doctor/assistant for each of the three phases and the hand-offs were smooth. (I imagine this allows better specialization in each phase.) Billing/insurance was exactly as confirmed prior to arriving. (This facility was selected by my physician, and after reading earlier reviews I was somewhat concerned as to the experience. Im sorry for the folks who felt they had bad experience. All I can say is that my visit last week was perhaps the best out-patient procedure that I have ever had.)

First of all Dr Consultation i was chargef 243.00.i told the rep i was being overcharged, he told me since i had not met my deductible thats was how much i had to pax. When i got home i called my insurane and the OVERCHARGEd me 152.00. Day od colonscopy i was told i only had to pay out of pocket 440.00 when i got thete i was told i had to pay 959.00. Whicj of corse i told them i was being overcharged i left i did not have my procedure . I got home i callef my insurance and what i had to pay was only 539.00 not 959.99. I would never recommend that facilty to noone. When it comes to insurance the DONT KNOW NOTHING. OFFICE VISIT OVER CHARGED AND COLONOSCOPY OVERCHARGED

I wont describe the exact situation but my suggestion to everyone is if you have an issue with billing, file a complain with Florida Department of Financial Services. Search for File an insurance complaint. If you experienced any other issue, such as discrimination etc. file ADA complaint online; search for ada file complaint. There is a section for health care providers. That is the only way you will get some attention. dont even bother with baptist and their service there.

Horrible horrible doctors office! Do not recommend. The staff is rude and unprofessional and they try to charge you where you shouldn’t be charged. Do NOT RECOMMEND.

I had an endoscopy in that place and I have pain for 5 days I have called and nobody answers by leaving messages and they also call me and when the very rude secretary answered me, she told me to go to the hospital, what kind of attention do they give you in that clinic? They give you a solution, just go to the hospital I think that is not an answer to what they did in their own clinic, I do not recommend in that place because they will not receive any attention or answers to my questions bad be careful

Important to note, my one star review is only based on the wait times for trying to speak to someone on the phone at the center. I cant speak to services rendered, etc. as I have not been there for any type of test.This past week I have had to call the center approximately three times, different times of day, in regards to an appointment my husband had scheduled there. The minimum wait time on the phone I have experienced is 30 min. The maximum wait time was on Wednesday, Jan 29, 2020, where I was on the phone from 3:45 to 5:00 pm. My call was just clicked off at 5pm, as it was closing time, I guess. I was able to make a dinner for my family while on hold, never being able to even speak to someone. Im currently on hold right now going on 40 mins, as I have to verify the scheduled appointment was indeed cancelled by his doctor yesterday.This is completely unacceptable. People work and have lives beyond staying on hold for who knows how long in order to get information or get questions answered.Baptist: find a better way to assist your clients on the phone. This is ridiculous!!!!Update: its 10:37 am and I am going on 53 min on hold.Update #2: Hung up at 56 min hold time as my husband was able to confirm through his doctor that appointment was cancelled with your center yesterday.

This is my 5th visit to this center and each and every time they have surpassed my expectations. From my visit to my daughters visits to my husbands they have been ultra professional and proficient every time. The staff is friendly and always tries to make the patient and the family member comfortable while waiting for procedures. I highly recommend this place!

I have been trying to make an appointment all morning, called twice and waited 30 minutes the first time, now I have been 40 minutes on hold while I work and still no answer. Is this place still open for business???? Will try somewhere else if I dont get an answer today.

I had a very bad experience with the billing department. They made me pay for my deductible upfront and then never sent my claim to the insurance company. I had to pay for my deductible (again) for other treatments afterwards. So they got to keep my deductible.It has been 4 months after the treatment and they are yet to process the claim and return my deductible. Whenever I call them they treat me not nicely saying that I should allow the time.I am afraid I lost hundreds of dollars to Baptist Health Endoscopy Center because they failed to send my claim to the insurance company which was an incredibly basic thing to do for any health care provider.EDIT: I sent an e-mail to the Patient outreach

I would never go back to this facility or any Baptist facility for that matter. My husband had a procedure scheduled at this facility and when we checked in for the procedure I was told that the cost would be nearly $600, when I said I would not pay for it, they called the insurance in front of me and then said it would be $150. However, after a month, I received an invoice at my home for another $161. If I had know that I had to pay over $300 for the procedure I would not have had it done and they knew that so they tried to scam us by telling us it was only $150 and then invoicing us for the rest with a bill at home.When I called them to complain, I could not get through because they are always closed or have really long wait times. After 30 minutes on hold time, the person who answered the phone called Dayana was very rude and basically wanted nothing to do with it. I also requested for a copy of the detailed invoice and she refused to send it to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told I was going to be transferred to a manager named Luis and she pretended to transfer and it was a dead line that kept ringing and ringing but no one answer.Now i am stuck with a bill for $160 that I cannot pay.When will health providers start treating patients like clients and treat them properly. As if it is not enough to have health issues, you also have to put up with being treated unfairly by the providers.

This bad review is due to the valet parking. Horrible place to come to. They parked my car and brought it back to me and didnt tell me that they had opened a window and left it open during a passing storm today 8/26/2019. I saw the water on the door electrical contol, center console, front passenger seat is completely soaked, dripping water from the back. Carpet and in between the seat and console. What they did was put some towels and bye bye.... i requested to make a report and they person responsible gave me his ph number to call him in case something electical breaks.Now i am left w a soaked car that needs to be dried up... and hoping that none of the electrical components were damaged... aside from the smell of wet dog that will settle in.Horrible customer service for that valet company.

My mother waited nearly 3 and a half hours to be taken back to start her procedure. No one thought it would be polite to let her know the doctor was running behind. It took me having to ask someone at the nurses station how much longer it would be for anyone to somewhat help speed up the process. The nurse simply said the doctors just slow and started laughing, which in my opinion, is not how she shouldve responded. VERY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

The staff was very nice and caring. Had no problems. Parking is a pain though. Had to tilt the whole vending machine cause both of the chips i pain for had gotten stuck.

Doctor Roberto Gonzalez did the endoscopy procedure, stones in a bile duct and it was a success, I am very happy. Thankful for all the medical procedures.

I know that under these conditions, it is with the Covid that measures must be taken, but here the bureaucracy is extreme and one takes the test annoyed by so much bureaucracy they create, they should try to find a solution to that

Today a delay for the Registration, 10 minutes before the exam time they made the Registration and they only gave me 5 minutes to see my husband before going to the classroom.
