The staff is friendly and accommodating. Theoffice is very clean and had a good atmosphere. Dr. Thomas was very friendly and a great listener. They are good explaining every step from the billing down to the exam and what will happen. It was a very pleasant experience!

I’ve been a client of both Dr. Richard Thomas and Dr. Charmaine Thomas since 2007 and have always received excellent professional help from them both as well as Rachel their office manager! I would highly recommend Astute Vision Care to my family and friends! I don’t live near their office but I have always been happy to travel to see them! My eyes, for a change, felt great with the new lenses and the new frames. All the folks at the office are efficient, friendly, and easy to work with. Safety protocols are in place. The new glasses were available when promised.

I’m so happy with the service I receive at this place. It’s so hard to know whether you are getting ripped off for any kind of medical service but these guys are so thorough it’s unbelievable. They check EVERYTHING and so you feel that they are really covering all the bases. And they are also very nice with it. Highly recommend them.

This is my first time coming here, although my husband is also a client. I have never needed glasses previously, so I was a bit uneasy about getting my eyes checked but all of that has changed. The doctor and staff is wonderful! Very personable and they make you feel right at home. They answered all my questions and I will definitely go back and recommend any family or friends. (Prices are also fair since I do not currently have vision insurance)

The worst place. very bad customer service, unprofessional and no control of customer files. Ive been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old and Ive never been in such an unprofessional place. Ive been waiting for a copy of my prescription for over a month! I waited 3 weeks for my one year supply of contact lenses which apparently got wrong and I did not get an answer about what to do with the lenses. COMPLETELY NOT RECOMMENDED !!!! do yourself a favor .... look for another eye care!!

I guess as we get older things start to deteriorate. Well, I refuse to think that way until your body starts to tell you different. My eyes are not the same as they were 20 years ago. I asked my wife to set up an appointment with the eye doctor she went to last year. My wife called and set it up with Dr. Thomas for today at 1pm. I went and was greeted as soon as I entered the door. The front desk took my information and in less than 5 minutes I was called by Dr.Thomas. First, I must say, he is very personable, friendly, professional, and easy to talk too. I love doctors that make you feel at ease while performing their examination. He explained to me everything I needed and the next step was to find the perfect frames for my new glass prescription. I was assisted by the staff in front in picking the best frames. What I also really like about their office is that they regulate covid screening before you come in unlike other clinics that I know. Everyone was wearing their masks, gloves and they’re sanitizing areas that people most frequently touch especially when examining their patient’s vision.Moreover, there’s a lot of options that you can choose when it comes to frames, from kids to adults and regular to branded frames. I recommend this place if you would like to have your yearly check-up or need to get your lens upgrade or contact lenses too.

Coming to Astute vision Care was such a pleasant experience. The wait time to see the Optometrist was minimal. The doctor performed the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever received; and he said he was “just doing what is normally required for a comprehensive eye exam”. I felt like it was a “concierge” type of office. I would highly recommend this office. The optical has a wide selection of frames and I received my glasses back in less than a week. Everyone was super friendly and attended to all my optical needs.

This place is amazing! DR. Thomas is very knowledgeable, I have two completely different eyes making it very hard to get a prescription compatible for both eyes. She did exactly what I needed, also she’s very friendly herself. The staff is very attentive & friendly as well. They have several notices posted about social distancing guidelines. Before you sit for your exam, Dr. Thomas makes sure all surfaces are cleaned before each use. They’re really doing everything they can during these times to keep you safe.

These are Doctors who really listen and take time to give you the best prescription available. And they are kind and generous, which seems more rare these days. I love going to this office so much that I drive 5 hrs each year for more than a decade to get the right prescription!

It’s kind of small yes but that means you get that one on one connection with the Optometrist Dr. Thomas and her assistants. I never felt rushed or pressured. I had a woman named Millie who helped choose a pair of glasses for me within my budget and insurance. She made time to handle my situation first before she jumped to another client. Honestly I had a great time and got some glasses. I finally found a vision shop that I can go to annually.
