I’ve been a consistent patient here for about four years. I only came as a recommendation from another well trusted doctor of mine. This office has always been slightly unprofessional and unorganized but I always brushed it off because I didn’t have to visit very often. Time after time little things here and there would happen that made me question whether or not I should continue services here. The final straw was after multiple visits and having a plan with the doctor there seemed to be a huge confusion about a prescription and plan that caused a lot of back-and-forth between the doctors office and me and my insurance for over a months time. What really made me leave this practice is how the various front desk individuals led me on a wild goose chase and lied to me and my mother multiple times for over a month. Multiple times I requested that the doctor call me so we can get to the bottom of it and I even went as far as asking to make an appointment just so I can speak to him, but they promised me they would call me back multiple different times and I never heard from them once. All of this confusion and miscommunication could’ve simply ended if they would’ve been honest with me and helped me figure out the problem . Ultimately me catching them in lies is what really turns me off because no medical provider or their employees should ever lie about the simple little things they chose to lie about. To put it simply after all this time with them and me being a consistent and unproblematic patient I would not recommend anyone coming here. I am very patient and very understanding as I do work in the medical field so I know how it is, but some of this behavior and the way that they handled everything really showed me the true colors of how this clinic is run. I don’t feel comfortable or safe having these individuals handle my health.I’m never one for writing reviews like this, in fact I avoid writing negative reviews as much as I can, but this office has really just left me speechless and honestly I’m just concerned for other patients well-being.I hope that things change and I hope that not everyone’s experience was or turns to be the same as mine.

Dr. Aden is an amazing physician with a wonderful bed-side manner. I was referred to him by my primary doctor. I was extremely nervous and do not well in medical situations. He was very comforting and did not rush me. He asked me if I was sure I had no other questions before our appointment ended. He gave me information to read and discussed next steps. He was very clear in setting my expectations for getting results. When my results came in he personally reviewed them with me. He was extremely kind as was his staff. Every doctor should be this good. Sometimes doctors reach a level where they are more facts than human but Dr. Aden was a wonderful balance of both. He made a stressful experience better.

If you are seeking a real doctor who will provide great care and true treatment, go elsewhere. This guy will have you think that you’re crazy while your health is declining. At least, that was the case with me. This also happened to my aunt who went to him as well. His attitude is so disgusting I consider him a quack.Don’t walk away, run. Thank GOD I went to a bonafide doctor that diagnosed my condition and treated it!!! I feel so much better.Who knows what would have happened to me if I had listened to that guy. Ugh! I would not have even given this one star if I had a choice.

Finding Dr. Aden was a blessing! I had been to other endocrinologists who dismissed my concerns. Dr. Aden took the time to listen and create a plan of treatment which has dramatically improved my life and well-being. We need more caring, capable, outstanding doctors like Dr. Aden!!

Disgusting business ethics! Initial consult $300. Asked for a break, since the appointment was for my daughter who is unemployed and displaced due to Covid. Agreed to do so. Charged $400 due to having spent more time than originally anticipated. Office was a disgrace and in complete shambles. DO NOT GO TO THIS DR! HE IS A DEGENERATE OF SOCIETY. Have never seen this in over 30 years of being in the medical industry. Way to take advantage of a situation!

The greatest accolade I can give a doctor is that when I do what he tells me I get better. This guy knows his stuff, and while we wont be taking warm showers together, when I do what he tells me I get better.......

I was a patient of Dr. Aiden for quite a few years. I had minor issues such as a lack of response and delay of biopsy results, etc., But I didn’t want to have to change doctors. I had several thyroid nodules that hadn’t shown any signs of growth the last few visits, so the last time I saw Dr. Aiden he said he wouldn’t need to see me for 2 years. Fast forward several years later, I woke up with a lump on my neck which was tender. I was super concerned and immediately thought the worst. I drove to Dr. Aiden‘s office and explained the situation to the lady at the front desk and asked if he could please see me. She spoke to the doctor, returned and apologized but said that the doctor did not want to see me anymore. Apparently, they had scheduled an appointment for me a year prior and considered me a “no-show“. They said there was a fee due and that he was no longer interested in being my doctor. At this point I was overly anxious, scared, and crying. I practically begged the lady to please go back and ask him to please see me that I was very concerned about the lump I had and that I would pay any fee they wanted me to. Again she came back and said he was not interested. Obviously, I never paid them a fee for an appointment that was made without my knowledge two years in advance. One in which I never even received a courtesy reminder call or confirmation for. Regardless, the bigger issue was Dr. Aiden’s complete and utter lack of empathy and professionalism. Thankfully, I went to the Baptist Emergency room and was recommended Dr. Pasqual DeSantis. I ended up having a thyroidectomy and did have several cancerous nodules, none of which seem to have been the cause of the lump, but may have saved my life nonetheless. My current doctor is so great, patient, and understanding. I also had a great surgeon at Baptist Hospital that was recommended by my endocrinologist.

Dr. Aden has been my endocrinologist for the past 3 years. He is completely professional, thorough, courteous and shows a real interest in how my diabetes is managed. Further, he correctly diagnosed me with late-onset Type 1, and referred me for the insulin pump. He has truly made management of this condition much easier.

Upon Dr Aden finding a nodule in my thyroid he insisted it was urgent to do a biopsy. The biopsy was done on a Wednesday and I was given an appointment to come back in for results that Friday. I was called Friday morning and told the results were not back, that the staff would call me Monday to give me another appointment for results. On Tuesday I called them, the woman was confused and said they would call me when the results came back. Fast forward 4 weeks. I get a bill from my insurance company to pay Dr Aden $389.40. Neither Dr Aden or his staff bothered to tell us to expect getting a bill from his office. Week 6 I finally called to speak with Dr Aden who upon calling me back right away went into he didn’t know what happened, but had the results and wanted to give them to me. I told him I also wanted to speak about this bill that no one in his office told me I would be expected to pay. Dr Aden got NASTY started raised his voice NASTY spoke over me the whole time I was just saying WOW at his attitude and then said go get another Doctor and hung up the phone. There was no responsibility taken by Dr Aden for the obvious dropping of the ball by his staff. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS DOCTOR HE IS A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING !!!

I had the worst experience with this doctor in regard to hypothyroidism. Not only does he lack empathy, he is very dismissive about symptoms that his patients are experiencing as if symptoms have been imagined. Be very careful with doctors like him. I would not recommend that he treat my dog! Thankfully, I later received proper care from a true professional.By the way, I know of others who were treated by him and had similar experiences. Please note that his staff was great. Unfortunately, they work for him.I would not have selected any stars; however, I have to select at least one to post.

I have been coming to Dr. Robert Aden for years. He is a very good and caring doctor. I have never had a problem with Dr. Aden or the staff. Dr. Aden is always very attentive and reviews your medical history and current treatment methods. He listens to your concerns and does not try to rush you out of the examination room like other doctors. He is a great Doctor! I recommend him highly.

I began seeing Dr. Aden as a patient around 2008 for Hypothyroidism and was very pleased with how attentive and informative he was during our first few appointments. However when I became pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy where I was mostly on bed rest, I was unable to see him for several months and for convenience sake, I simply had my OBGYN monitoring my thyroid hormone levels to adjust the thyroid medication during pregnancy since they were constantly drawing blood for other pregnancy complications anyway. After I gave birth and was ready to return to my normal doctors, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Aden for my annual thyroid ultrasound and new bloodwork for thyroid meds. When he learned that I never saw him during my pregnancy to monitor my thyroid levels, Dr. Aden was livid. He immediately terminated me as a patient and asked me to leave. I explained that my other doctor kept my thyroid in check but this merely irritated him more. He just said if I didn’t need him during pregnancy, then I don’t need him period. His staff seemed to feel sorry for me but they could do nothing. He is an angry, cold-hearted, bitter man who should not be in the healing profession if he cannot treat his patients with kindness and respect. Shame on you, Robert!!!!

This doctor saved my life. My type 2 diabetes was completely out of control before I went to him. I had already seen three other doctors who did not help me. Not only did he get my blood sugar completely under control without insulin; I have lost 60 pounds (fully one quarter of my body weight) since I started seeing him two years ago, and I am 71 years old, not an easy or a common thing for an old man without bariatric surgery and without insulin When I started seeing Dr. Aden, my A1C was over 9.0. In February, 2020, my AiC was measured as 6.0, not the A1C of a diabetic. Dr. Aden and his staff are the BEST, professional, kind, and attentive to their patients’ needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Adens for about 2 1/2 years. My first few experiences were uneventful. He seemed very nice, not overly friendly but thats just how some people are and it wasnt a big deal to me. I did notice he spoke somewhat harshly to his employees on a few occasions, but they make the decision to stay. Thats not really my business so I just ignored it because he had never spoken to me in that way. I had missed my last appointment due to miscommunication which is partially my fault. However, in the mean time I have found another doctor. I went to Dr. Adens office to pick up my medical records. Upon hearing that I had another doctor he said Well, maybe (this doctor) should get off her a** and do something. Little did he know I came to get my medical records on my own so that I would have them for my following appointment. I was not asked by my current doctor to get them. He was very aggressive and told me Take the damn records and get your a** out of here. Even the few people in his waiting room were sitting there like theyd seen a ghost with eyes wide open. Apparently hes a good/average doctor until you decide to see someone else. He should probably see someone to manage his anger with things that are out of his control.
