I had an appointment today at 2:30pm today and the front desk receptionist cancelled my appointment without letting me know. Mind you I called them at 10:00 in the morning. She says they did not have enough information to proceed with the appointment but they didnt even let me know they were missing information. She was very unprofessional and if i could give them a 0 star rating I would. I am not one to write reviews but this lady really got me upset. I really needed this appointment. You should never take someones health as a joke and she clearly does not care about the patients.

An unfortunate experience with the staff of Dr. Angueiras office. Lack of professionalism, medical ethics and correct information to the patient. The appointment with Dr. Angueira was made for a telephonic appointment.From the beginning, the relationship with the girls who take care of patients in the office did not start very well, since without having a first contact with the patient, they begin to call you with familiar names such as my little friend and my papacito.From days before the appointment, it was confirmed for a half an hour later than the initial appointment scheduled, since the Dr. did not start work until 9:30 AM.On the day of the appointment they promptly called to collect the co-payment almost an hour before the appointment. An hour later after the appointment time, the Dr. had not yet called yet for the phone consultation. After calling the office and speaking with one of the 7 office assistants, a Dr. who was not Dr. Angueira finally called me. Since my appointment had been made specifically for Dr. Angueira, in the midst of my confusion and surprise, since so far no explanation had been previously given to me about the change of doctor, the Dr. told me that if I did not want to proceed and do the consultation with him, Dr. Angueira would call me back. After another half hour and another call back to the office, that is an hour and a half later than my appointment, I spoke again with the same assistant to who I asked for an explanation of what was happening and why the Dr. have not called yet and then came out with the explanation that Dr. Angueira did not have appointments available until June, and therefore the reason that another doctor in the group have taken my consultation.Truly a lack of respect and total communication with the patient, trying only to obtain benefits and dividends for the consultation, completely ignoring the interests of the patient.Bye Dr. Angueira without getting to know you. Nothing recommended for his services. Good endocrinologists are plentiful in the city of Miami!

For many years my wife and I have been treated by Dr Angueira at all times during our visits to his office, there has been professional, attentive, cordial treatment by nurses and assistants, the office meets the requirements for a time stay in wait for the consultation. If something denotes professionalism, knowledge, in its specialty is the responses to the health conditions in each patient, always looking for and giving alternatives to the condition of us, their patients and not only in the specialty of diabetes but also includes any other situation. of health that one shares with our doctor always available to help fulfill the exercise of his profession fully. I have known Dr. Eugenio Angueira for more than 20yrs in various capacities. He is a very knowledgeable physician and always keeps up to date with new therapies and treatment options. He is a key opinion leader in Endocrinology. Dr. Eugenio Angueira is also involved in Academia. He has been an excellent mentor to many medical school students and residents.The group of physicians in the practice are well trained. The office staff is excellent.I highly recommend Dr. Angueira and his partners.

Extremely rude experience with one of the staff members , Nancy. She thinks she is the doctor and spoke with an attitude. Appears that she is not trained to deal with people.

I am not really sure why so many negative reviews, especially from people that have never stepped into that office, and can even give details in an evident flagrant attempt this discredit such an honorable doctor. We have so much to be thankful for. My wife has known Dr Angueira for a very long time, and she has the best impressions of his attentions as a professional and as a person. Even when he is so busy he has ALWAYS made sure he gets back to us, through himself or one of his assistance and/or staff members. His diagnostics and perceptions have always been favorable and accurate to my wifes conditions. They have always been willing to help with many prescriptions changes and are always open for affordable option to his patients and aware of every stage of her condition and progress. Dr. Angueira has been a blessing to my life and my family. He is been our endocrinologist doctor for over 28 years. He has always been so caring and very kind. His professionalism surpass many doctors I’ve had. Always attentive and worry of the welfare of his patients. I have witnessed this treatment with all his patients in the office. VERY IMPORTANT, when I have called him, he answers immediately!! Even when he is out of town or in vacation. Many other doctors don’t answer at all!! May God bless him every day more!! TERRIBLE SERVICE. I called to schedule an appointment. I was bounced around and kept being offered appointments with other doctors. The women working there have very little professionalism. I waited two months for the appointment and found it strange that no one called to confirm the appointment. I called to confirm and was told that they left me a voicemail on a SUNDAY to let me know that I needed to reschedule because the doctor wouldnt be in. If I wouldve gotten the voicemail I wouldve never called to confirm! What a bad experience, especially for a potential patient. The first impressions are lasting impressions. Im glad it didnt work out.

I am a health advocate that represented a patient of Dr. Anguiera. Due to an apparent administrative error, my clients blood sample was sent to an out of network lab resulting in a very high bill-not covered by her insurance.($2,600 rather than approximately $400 in network). When contacted, the Dr. was quickly responsive-and took steps to ensure that his patient did not have to bear the financial brunt of the error. Its great to see a doctor who will take the time to get involved in correcting an office mistake in order to assist his patient. Dr. Anguiera showed much integrity and compassion in doing so--qualities that are valuable to and appreciated-by patients. I thank him for stepping in and helping.

My grandma was taking tremendous amounts of insulin we have proof when she fell almost died alive by a miracle we had to find another office. She was going to this office.

I have been a patient of this doctor for a few months and never in my life have I received such bad attention as in this place, terrible attention, extreme mistreatment by Mrs. Nancy who believes she has the right and also the authorization of the doctor (that said by herself) of mistreating, insulting, offending, doing and undoing at will with patients, she is a super rude and despotic person. The doctors work is overshadowed by the inefficiency of the team that works around it, in other words they are not used to deal with people and even less to provide good health service.

My mother has been a patient of Dr Angueira for about 2 years. I am extremely upset with the mistreatment and lack of professionalism of your staff. They do not answer the phone and when they rarely do they hang up, after much insistence they communicate with the manager to whom I try to explain what was happening to me and this in a very despotic way recommended that I look for another Dr in addition to specifying that it was the doctors wife. So I assume that my message never reached the Dr, who also does nothing because it is not the first time he told him about the little costumer services and lack of respect from his employees. I only give it one star to be able to do the post.
