I met with Olga Rivera NP yesterday at my first visit to this office. I am 70 years old, and have seen countless Doctors in my day! I had the BEST office visit yesterday, ever. Olga Rivera looked me straight in the eye, listened oh so carefully to my problems, and acknowledged that she understood me!!! She did an exam, and analyzed what needed to be my next step, with clarity and total understanding! Her manner was most comforting. After driving from Orlando for a follow up appointment to review radiology I was told by the physician that I have an extra vertebrae. The Physician kept my radiology which I didn’t realize since the folder containing my radiology was returned. I suffered a back injury 5 1/2 years ago that required me to have a lumbar discectomy (with another surgeon) to remove the herniated discs from the L4-L5; L5-S-1 regions of my spine. Unfortunately, I was still left with debilitating sciatic nerve pain, numbness in my right leg from my hip down to my big toe, as well as heal pain that made it difficult to walk. I dealt with constant back and leg spasms and weakness on my right side for all those years. Fast forward to this past Tuesday, 7/20/21 when I had my second surgery with Dr. Brusovanik. He came highly recommended from a dear friend, who also happens to be a physician and someone I trust completely. The first thing after waking up from surgery, I immediatley notice that I had regained sensation in my entire right leg and the pain I was burdened with for the past 5 1/2 years was gone! I was walking the next day and walked into his office for a follow-up 3 days after. You read that right; I WALKED into his office. No wheelchair, no cane, no assistance needed from any device. I get to fly home to my family a new person and I am forever grateful. Did I mention that I flew in from Hawaiʻi? The 10 hour trip was worth it and I am flying home in better shape than when I arrived. Dr. Brusovanik and his staff are amazing and I couldn’t be more happy and excited for the future ahead of me.

My husband and I went to meet with Dr. Brusovanik because my husband had excruciating lower back pain. Dr. Brusovanik was very thorough when he explained the reason why my husband was in so much pain and how he could relieve his pain. In my husbands case, he needed cortisone shots in his lower back. My husband fell so much better after the treatment - it was like night and day. We highly recommend Dr. Brusovanik and Dr. Kaufman. The staff is very kind and helpful and makes you feel important. Today July 23,2020 i had an appointment with doctor Brusovanik , i went to see him after consulting with 2 other neurosurgeons which right out the door and 15 minutes into my consultation recommend ACDF SURGERY , i was a bit disappointed and more concern about the procedure and all possible complications - end result . Prior meeting with doctor Brusovanik i was greeted by his staff and assistant which make me feel right at home , they took my detail information and all personal questions in order to prepare my medical records- info , upon meeting the doctor he was already familiar with my records and diagnostic , he took his time ( almost 1.5 hour ) explaining any and all possible scenarios in my case , definitely surgery was our last optionhe give me his ideas an recommendations all very conservatives and if surgery was need in the future it was going to be minimum compare to prior diagnostics / cervical fusions . i left his office with all my expectations and hopes up , i think i went to visit a friend not a doctor and not to get confused HIS KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD IS OUT OF REACH

Fabulous doctors here! I was in pain for several months and tried PT, Pilates, acupuncture, kinesiology, cupping, massage, chiropractor and NOTHING worked. My back pain extended to my hip and I’d be limping after 15 minute walks. I found Dr. Brusovanik by chance on google maps and he CURED me within two appointments. He knew exactly where I needed injections even though I fought him a little bit on the location haha as I wasn’t convinced. Well NOW I AM! 8-10 years ago I had a fall that injured my back. I tried every doctor with every treatment, chiropractor, physical therapist, Tens Unit, every injection, every medication(Tramadol, Fentanyl Transdermal patches(25-75), Morphine, Hydrocodone, and intimately increasing doses of Percocet-which Thanks God did not destroy my liver after 8 years of taking it. During all this years , I’ve looked for a surgeon to not avail. MRI’s, CT’s Scans, and X-rays by the loads- no honest Doctor in Central Florida want it to touch me as they couldn’t diagnose the problem. I take care of my quadriplegic wife for 20 years and the chronic pain made it ( you have no idea) many times causing me to double dose my self in order to just be able to take care of her.From January of 2020 Out of desperation I began to search for a surgeon and Ultimately I found one doctor in Davenport that was willing to operate on me. It has been about two years since the surgery and I am very pleased to say that I am still going strong after the cervical disc replacement C6-C7. Best choice I ever made versus a cervical fusion surgery. It so happens that all the activities and sports that I like to participate it in, have a level of neck extension that occurs be it cycling or surfing my neck is in a extended position for long periods of time. I naturally thought that I was going to have to give up on these sports after a cervical surgery, but now I’m happy to say that I am surfing for hours at a time or even cycling 100+ miles on a given weekend with no ill effects. Working as an occupational therapist I always see the other side of the surgery with the patient rehab and almost all of them have had a level of compromise that they had to endure after a fusion. With Dr. Brusovanik the opposite is true you can probably get back to all the activities and sports that you want to do. THANK YOU THANK YOU

After seeing 5 doctors I was able to figure out my problem with Dr. Brusonavik. I’ve been pretty much disabled for 3 months during the pandemic. Wow, I’m so pleased with the experience I had at this office. There is no doubt that Dr Brusovanik only employs patient-centric people. From the receptionist, to the Nurse Practitioner to the Doctor, everyone is so nice and very attentive. I can’t say enough great things about my experience at this practice. I had experienced a slight miscommunication with the office during my first appt. but I received a call from the Doctors office apologizing and I am so happy to have returned...As someone who works in the public health field...client is always first and they truly made me feel that way. I went with my husband who has chronic neck pain to see Dr Brusovanik 3 times. Every time he took time necessary to answer all our questions (and we had many) and he was super clear in his explainations. Very knowledgeable and positive doctor, with impeccable ethics. He is not pushing to do a surgery, which is to be appreciated nowadays. I have only positive words about Dr and his team, appointments on time very nice and efficient team.

Excellent very conscientious doctor who looks out for the overall well being of the patient. I traveled 110 miles to see him every time and no regrets. I found patients from as far as Key West. A friend who works for a very known rehabilitation facility refers patients to him all the time. If you are seeing any other doctor you are in the wrong place.

I was a bit intimidated about seeing Dr. Brusovanik, but he is so nice. He was running way behind- like 2.5 hours behind- and he came out personally to apologize and explain. He said If anybody needed anything to let his staff know. I’ve never had a doctor do that. And when I did see him, he gave me his full attention. I’m glad I found out about him.
