Terrible customer service. You cant talk to a person who can help and forget about leaving a message. It goes into the black hole. The receptionist will just keep sending you to voice mail no matter how many times you tell her not to transfer you to a voice mail. Absolutely horrible! I am leaving one star...because you must enter at least one star. A more accurate rating is NO stars.

This office is efficient and attentive. Dr. Duarte is personable with a high level of professionalism . She is vastly knowledgeable in specialized care and sensitive to her patients needs. I have traveled almost 2 hours for her to treat my daughter and it’s always worth it.

I’m revising my review. At first I was unhappy with Dr. Duarte, but today I have nothing but love for her. She is amazing with my sons acne. He’s improved 85% and she has helped me with my rosacea. She’s very kind and personable and her staff is great as well. I highly recommend her with my eyes closed. She will be my dermatologist for life.

My PA Ledy Ochoa helped me remove Telangiectasia around my nose and a very stubborn mark below my right eye. I had a very stubborn mark on my face for the longest and couldnt figure out what it was! Ledy immediately recognized the issue saved the day!! I went in for the treatment on a Wednesday and the mark is completely gone by Monday! I am so happy with the results! Thank you Ledy! 😊

Very frustrated parent and its due to many reasons.-Lab made a mistake and my daughter needed to be retested. I understand mistake happen, however I was never notified by the office and found about it several weeks later in a follow up appointment.-Left voice messages to get results of lab work and dont get called back.-Dont buy any products as they overcharge for everything. I found Amazon sells the same product but much cheaper.-Reaching the doctor is nearly impossible. They call you back at no set time. For that reason I always leave both my phone # and spouses #. For some reason they only try one.-Assistant doesnt pay attention to what the doctor prescribes/instructions. On multiple occasions he couldnt explain all the medication and instructions.I would not recommend until the horrible service is corrected.

Horrible office. DONT BE FOOLED! The staff here are rude, theres no reparations when they make mistakes. Very busy and you feel rushed. I made an appointment for my son to see DR. DUARTE and never got to see her. The office is being tended to by PAs. Disorganized and way overrated!

Waited 3 months for the appointment which i.was fine with it because of the good reviews the Dr had. Well I never saw the Dr. I saw the nurse practitioner who told me part of the treatment for my son since I asked. She examined my baby and never explained to me anything , she told the assistant what to do but never told me what we were doing. I legit thought she was coming back but no the one who came back was the assistant with some papers so I can read about my sons condition. So why do we go to Drs appointments if we have to teach ourselves??. I have read about the condition and in google but I went to see an specialist for a reason since google is not a doctor. I would of like for them to reach out to Me and let me decide if I wanted to be seen by a nurse practitioner or wait more to see the doctor. My frustration is that I could of have done.this appt long time ago instead of waiting for a doctor I never got to meet.

I don’t understand these reviews - don’t be fooled. The office staff give so much attitude and take no accountability for their mistakes. They cancel last minute - don’t call to cancel and claim they do. Dr. Duarte hardly shows up at the appointments - and her staff are harsh - one of the times we were there my daughter was nervous getting laser treatment on her forehead, she was 12 - they didn’t explain things or even speak to her - they came in - rushed through the appointment - and couldn’t take a moment to acknowledge her and explain what they were doing. Horrible bedside manners - It’s like they are so big they just don’t care about the actual patients. I’m sure Dr. Duarte won’t care about this review but save yourself and find a smaller and more caring practice to attend who care about their patients. This is not that practice.

This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had going to a dermatologist. What stood out the most were my interactions with the dermatologist Sandra, and the care and patience that she gave my daughter. Our experience was pleasant and productive. Its been a few months since our visit, but her diagnosis was spot on and the medication that she prescribed resulted in my daughter having amazing results. Sandra, not only treated her with the best care, but educated her to understand that skin care is from within. So, she is drinking more water and doing her part to improve her eating habits. As a result of our visit, her self esteem and confidence has improved. I will be going to the Childrens Skin Center going forward. Make them your dermatologist as well, you will not be disappointed! I recommend requesting to see the doctor if you go here. I’ve gone twice and have been paired with PAs and each one had a different diagnosis for my daughters skin patches. They took no samples, but her skin is oozing pus so it’s definitely infected. I’m left now with no clear understanding of what she has and a ton of creams that don’t work. Will be trying another place. I think Dr. Duarte might be good based on the reviews, but I have yet to see her in the office when I’ve gone. Very disappointing.

For months my mom has been suffering from a skin condition that would not go away. I took her to The Children’s Skin Center. We were greeted with much respect and kindness. The Physician assistant, Ledy Ochoa, took care of my mom. Ms. Ochoa made my mom feel comfortable, and assured her that everything was going to be OK; that they would run some test to determine the root of her skin condition, and give her medications that would alleviate her condition. At the follow up visit, she was again greeted by Ms. Ochoa with a smile, and good “bedside manner”. She carefully explained the root of the problem and the precautions she needed to take to get better. I highly recommend Ms. Ochoa when searching for a skin care health professional. She was very nice, and an excellent Physician assistant!

It was terrible they take a long time to attend you and they just ask you to show them your skin and after they see it they say oh your gonna be using this type of medication without them knowing if I’m allergic or something every other dermatologist I’ve gone to has done a test on me before giving me a medication or cream to put on my skin this dermatologist is just terrible and I’ve gone 6 times already and nothing has worked I really don’t recommend this dermatologist

The staff at Nicklaus Children’s skincare are all amazing! but my favorite is Edie Hamilton. I’ve been visiting Edie as my dermotologist for a couple of years now. I trust her so much with my skin. You could tell that she has a passion for what she does and the love she has for her patients. You are not just “another patient.” The West Kendall location is clean, not too bad of a wait time, and parking is great. You will not regret choosing them as your dermatologist :)

Dr. Hamilton is amazing! They should definitely clone her. She was so devoted, so detailed, and professional. She definitely loves her job, Extremely detailed with the procedures, before even touching the patient she explains it step by step (with examples done too). For a mother of a 2 year old this is crucial. Thank you doctor for being so patient with us and giving us the chance to realize there are great CARING doctors out there still. By the way, the lollipop at the end of the consultation soothed all the pain away.

The Doctor sees both kids and adults. I first went to her for my daughter. We had been to 3 other dermatologists. Dr. Duarte was able to identify the skin issue and clear it up quickly. This opinion is based solely on the office performance .My son was seen by Dr Duarte for some lesions on the skin, and they were supposed to send a prescription to the pharmacy for us to pick the medication , they never did, I called their office after Our failed trip to the pharmacy and I was assured it would be sent to pharmacy but guess what? They still haven’t done it, almost 48 hours after the visit and I still haven’t been able to get my sons medicine because of their lack of human care!

Yes, she is fast, but she definitely knows what she is doing. We traveled 35 minutes to see her and it was well worth it! We came here for a second opinion, and my husband kept saying: wow what a difference checked my daughter entire body, wrote notes for us, gave us data to read about the medications, created a plan of treatment...
