My experience was very good the staff was very nice. The young lady who answer the phone was very helpful. Ken was on board all the time he made me feel comfortable when it came to my son cremation he explained everything to me. The cost of the service was at a good price. Ill recommend to anyone that needs there services.

My mother in law had made her cremation arrangements many years ago. Since it was so many years ago, we thought that perhaps the funeral home would try to nickel and dime us with unnecessary charges. We were so grateful to find kind and honest persons at this funeral home. We only had to pay a reasonable amount for the death certificates and I dont remember what else and $110 dollars to have the remains shipped from Miami, Florida to San Antonio, Texas. In my dealings with the funeral director, Ken Adair, he was always pleasant, kind and assisted us through this challenging time. There was one day that I called and left a message with the answering service, since it was later than I thought due to the time change, for a next day reply. Within a few minutes I received a call from Mr. Adair. Although this is an emotional process for families to go through, Mr. Adair and the support staff made everything simple and seamless. God bless them for their support, kindness and assistance during this trying period.

If there is a controversy with family of funeral procedures and you contact them they will let people of any kind take your loved one regardless if you was the first person to contact them do not release to this funeral until you have a face to face and make sure the safety of the remains of your loved one THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I gave it a star just to make sure I can write this review I will never ever call them again so with this being said DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE TAKE MY WORD FOR IT

My mother was killed and her cremation needed to be done quickly. I called Florida funeral home and crematory, their prices were fair and they were very patient and Informative! I was hung up on rudely once, however, it didnt phase me, as I had more serious matters. Ken was stern but helpful.

Its a shame to see positive reviews and then experience what my family has experienced.Terrible service and attitude towards grieving families.Its a shame that those running this establishment dont realize that horrible moments families are going through.Normally when Ive lost a loved one I have thanked the funeral home and the employees for their time and help during these terrible moments. In this case, there is nothing to thank, other than wish no other family has to experience what mine has.I hope you one day find a way to clear your conscience.

Please avoid this place like the plague! I have never been spoken to with such utter disdain by anyone in customer service in my life. Before I even spoke I was greeted with a tone that told me very clearly that I was an annoyance and a waste of their time. I simply asked about documentation of my family members passing and was half laughed at while being told I dont do that. . I have been mourning my loved ones passing and speaking to this representative who is supposed to understand grief and loss made me relive the trauma of losing my loved one all over again because of the representatives clear disdain for anyone who would dare interrupt her day with a question. When I asked a follow-up question to try to get some kind of information on what my options were or where to go I was responded to with an incredibly dismissive Nope. When I called back to speak to a manager about this situation the same representative doubled down on being rude and unhelpful to me. I am appalled by the sheer lack of human decency that was shown to me. I have been told that the manager will be calling me back, but based on the other reviews I have seen here I sincerely doubt that it will happen. Please find somewhere else to assist with your familys needs. The heartbreak of losing a loved one should not be accompanied by a frankly cruel and disgusting service experience from the funeral home.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. If you are sadly going through what can be the worst time of someones life, this is not the place you want to go to. The woman/employee who provided service and supervision during the service has no idea how to treat people with respect. Regardless of where it is that she works, respect should be a given at any situation BUT SPECIALLY at someones mourning. She was extremely rude, disrespectful and forget about sympathy or empathy, huge disconnect from humanity. Seriously, we were left with a very sour experience and what couldve been a beautiful service was stumped upon by her.

I have nothing but good things to say about Alexis, the calm and patient steerage and professional support of her and all the staff I interacted with via telephone from a thousand plus miles away.The website template is direct and intuitive for new users, and I was kept up to date during all aspects of our loved ones journey throughout the end of life process. Ken and Alexis were very caring, knowledgeable and attentive all the way through during this difficult time. We felt that they they personally and genuinely cared, as well as put us at ease each step of the way. They answered all our questions, returned our calls promptly and went out of their way to accommodate us. We are so fortunate to have found them, and have already recommended them to others. We made advanced arrangements with Ken Adair at Florida Funeral Home BTW No pushy sales people! We live in Hawaii and the time difference does not always match up but Ken went the extra mile and called us from his home to help. When my mom passed away January 11th 2021, They were so kind to my sister as they took my mother to the facility. Thank you Florida Funeral Home!

The particular woman who worked during the service was extremely insensitive. There was no remorse or understanding towards the situation at hand. She spoke with anger and annoyance. We were told to leave exactly at the two-hour mark even though she was late to open the doors in the first place. She also turned off all the lights, including the ones over the casket while people were still mourning.

Alexis (one of the staff) is somebody you dont wanna talk to in times of grieving... shes very rude, very unkind, heartless, doesnt know how to deal with grieving families. With the kind of job the she has, she needs to have a heart communicating with people, well it looks like she hasnt been trained well in this area. She is the last person you want to talk to when you just lost someone and going through a lot of stress, sadness and tough times. I saw her in person, and even with her ,mask on, you can see how feisty and hostile her eyes were dealing with us.. Even rude to my fiances 71 y/o mother whos been dealing with health issues and the last thing she would want to experience is hostility when working all these paperwork for her son that just passed away.I would advice everyone to look for another funeral home that will treat you with respect, kindness and hospitality. I would even rate 0 star in this funeral home if i could.

If I could give 0 stars I would, these people are terrible, they nasty on the fake answering services, they are withholding my cremated father and not answering, when they do answer the phone they dont know where the cremation delivery guy is or his schedule, they dont know anything, when I the owner call back he had an attitude like its our fault they couldnt answer, Alexis is the Assistant and acts like she owns the place, shes rude and has a disgusting attitude, hung up on me in the middle of a call then proceeded to keep hanging up on me, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE

I chose this funeral home based on the price of their cremation services. The manager was very helpful making the necessary arrangements. The viewing was held in a clean and modest chapel. However, they need to improve their customer service approach; after I purchase the services I made several phone calls to request information. The calls were never returned. Overall, I will recommend this business based on their price.

As difficult of a time this was for me, both Ken and Alexis made me feel at ease and made the process run smoothly, and for this I will always be grateful. This was an extremely difficult time for me due to the fact that my moms passing came unexpectedly due to Covid19. They made sure to show sincere condolences and made sure everything got done in a timely matter. I will forever highly recommend Florida Funeral Home to everyone in need of their services. Amazing service since the moment I made the call for pricing and process. Lack of communication and lack of a positive attitude for this place is apparent. The phone service is pointless. If you leave a message you have to to call back because no one returns a call.Seems to be every time I or someone else calls we are an inconvenience. I recently used their services last week of January and I feel very satisfied with everything. Alexis was awesome and very communicative, she is an asset. The bad reviews I read are not well deserved.I do recommend their services. The owner was very straightforward doing the paper work legals things etc.The remains were well packed. The lady that was assisting at the chapel was very nice and patient. Nobody kicked us out of the chapel nor the parking lot.Every single body complimented the coffin despite it was borrowed just for the viewing.They are very affordable in hard moments like the loss of a loved one.Thank you FFH&C!!

I highly recommend Florida Funeral Home and Crematory. The loss of a loved one is very stressful and it is even more difficult when they are a long distance away. Mr. Adair was very understanding and made the entire process stress free for my family. He did a wonderful job with the presentation of my grandfather at the funeral. He understood our situation and accommodated to our circumstances. He helped my Dad and myself through the process. Unfortunately, I could not be present at the funeral but my Mom and Dad were very pleased and are very grateful that they could arrive knowing everything was taken care off after traveling all the way from El Paso, Texas. Great Place, with wonderful people that I would recommend to others. They took care of me in my time of need, and provided extraordinary service. The wake was phenomenal and the staff was very understanding when we overstayed our welcome. Even in my grieving state, it goes without saying that if you show respect youll receive it in return. If you have any care for your loved one, do not let them come through this God forbidden place. It has taken months to get his remains. They told my family that they needed to get the urn and would call when they got it. No call. Two weeks later we call and they say the urn came but waiting for remains and payment...after we already agreed on doing a payment plan. The remains finally came after a month and then they claimed they no longer had the urn that they ordered for us, and by the way, no more payment plan! So we paid in full and after 3 months still nothing. They jokingly said, if you dont want to wait get him in the box... a CARDBOARD BOX that costs 10 dollars.By the way - they do NOT even have proper licensing to cremate human remains. They had to send our loved one to the next county to cremate- we were never told this.The director Mary is so rude and incompetent it is horrible that someone like this is allowed to Deal with grieving families. At the viewing, they also joked about their enemy other funeral home in town. Great thing to bring up at a wake?..We were also rushed through the viewing because the lady was hungry.Stay away from this place if you in any form care because I do not write reviews and I have never been treated so horribly.Not to mention one time we called (of the many), they said they couldnt find his remains at the moment. We also dont have his belongings which the M.E. DOES NOT HAVE. They told us they would call us so many times and never once did. Extremely upset with this experience.

We drove from tampa and them knowing that told us to come which was on a Saturday. after 4hrs and ¹/2 of driving we finally get there and they tell we cant do anything because the manager Ken only works Monday- Friday. made us miss a day of work and waste money on gas apart from the mileage added to my car

I have been waiting for a revised death certificate for over a year. YES, OVER A YEAR!! Funeral home made a mistake on the date of death. Makes me wonder what other mistakes have been made and are being made! The so called manager has not called me back in a year! If you want someone to be rude to you and refuse to speak with you after losing your loved ones personal property this is the place to go! I live in another state and this funeral home was contacted with by the funeral home in my state to pick up my brother for cremation and ship him home to us along with his personal property. We luckily received his ashes (I now wonder if it is really him) but when our funeral home asked were his property was they said it had been destroyed. I called to speak with them and was told by the receptionist that I needed to speak to the funeral home in my state. She refused to let me speak with anyone there even after I asked to speak to the person in charge. They told the funeral home here his property was not in a separate bag. I confirmed with the Medical Examiners office that this was a lie. His property was signed for by an employee of this funeral home on an itemized sheet. I have never dealt with a funeral home that has no regard for the deceased or their grieving family before. If you care about your loved one dont deal with this funeral home.

They close a 5 pm. Was told that if i made it there at 5pm sharp, id be able to pick up the ashes and certificates. The wouldnt wait a couple of minutes; not even 1! Lady on the phone told me they dont get PAID after 5. Talk about customer service.After driving for 45 minutes, i made it there at 4:59. Seems they are waiting by the door and darting out of work because no one was there to open the door.

This is the most horrible funeral home. We had a viewing for one of our relatives from 6-8pm at around 7:50pm a tall white bald man in charge of the funeral home was rude, and was literally kicking out family and loved ones that came to say their last goodbye. At 8pm everyone was outside of the funeral home saying their goodbyes. This man was once again rude and in a hurry kicking everyone out. When we told him to please calm down he became aggressive and said that he was paid until 8pm and everyone needed to go and that in this country nobody works for free. Blatant disregard for our family, our loved ones and for the daughter of the deceased that was sobbing because it was the last time she would see her mother. Ugly place and ugly people. This man had no remorse or compassion for the fact that we had just lost a loved one. Miserable human being and he should be fired, and although we understand that he was paid until 8pm, we just lost a loved one, and we were already leaving, no need to be rude, all we asked was for some patience. We were not going to stay there the entire night, I have never experienced such rude and uncompassionate human and staff.

This place gave us a specific price over the phone which was reiterated multiple times. However, when we went to finish the paperwork and pay they raised the price by over 100$ and told us that wasold pricing and no longer valid. The untimely death of our mother left us with limited funding. And the rudeness of the lady who was now in charge of our mothers remains was astounding. There was no consideration for our grief, nor ethical values in their charachter. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am only sad that my mothers care care was left to so rude of people who took advantage of our family during this time of pain and grief. Long over due update..... their furnaces were down at the time and they sent our mother to another facility without our concent or knowledge. We did not get her remains back for over 22 days.

My experience was bad, yes they are the best price but they do not follow up on their paper work, my doctor had to call twice for the form of cause of death, then he gave up and i had to call and they where all confuse who my Dad was and stated that all paper work was done just to get me off the phone and it was not, when I explain to them it was not they went and open the folder and started to work on it. its been 11 days and still they tell me till Friday that would be 14 days from his death to be cremated. i think its to long and they are unorganized. its true you pay for what you get. maybe its my luck and you might not have the same experience.

My relative passed away from Covid and they were very kind in the whole process, they gave us the tranquility that we needed at that time. Due to the Covid only cremation without service was mandatory. It should be noted that of all those we listed, they were the only ones that maintained the price they offered on their website.
