I am a new patient of Dr Heimowitz. In the short time and the few visits I have met with him, I am thoroughly impressed and feel very fortunate in having him as my Cardiologist. His bedside manner and calming nature is comforting. I appreciate the time he takes to explain test results as well as taking the time to listen to any concerns and answer any questions I might have. The compassion he expresses to me as his patient is reassuring and appreciated.

I went to this doctor because he was on my list of providers and had the closest appointment date...a month away! Best decision ever, I waited all of five minutes before seeing a nurse and after she was done the doctor came in immediately. No waiting 30minutes to an hour after your appointment time to finally be called in! In addition this doctor makes you uneasy at first (in the best of ways) he is so warm and attentive and anyone who knows US healthcare knows THAT is not most doctors! I started thinking maybe hes gotten a lot of complaints so hes being extra friendly...no, just like the reviews say, that is just him! I wish more doctors, no ALL doctors were like this. It would make doctors visits a much more positive and possibly proactive experience! Keep up the good work Dr. H you are one in a billion!

Dr H has made me feel comfortable from the first moment we met. He listens to my concerns and answers all my questions to my satisfaction. I feel comfortable calling him knowing I will get a reply in a reasonable amount of time.

Dr. Heimowitz and his staff always make me feel relaxed and like family. For me, this is an important factor as Im not a fan of cold or impersonal doctors with no real interest for the patient, but Dr. H is always very attentive and asks the right questions. His assistant, Virginia, is so sweet and detail-oriented-- she is a Virgo, like I am, and was kind enough to ask about my Dad (as my Mom recently passed), which is a great quality, especially when she only sees me 2x a year!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a GREAT cardiologist!

I have been a cardiac patient of Dr Heimowitz since my CABG surgery at Mt Sinai Hospital. He has really helped me during my recovery. HE is very pleasant attentive and listens. He doesnt rush and answers all my questions regarding medication and procedures. I never have to wait too long in his office to see him which I appreciate. i am very happy to recommend him and give him a five star rating.

My first visit with Dr. Todd Heimowitz, cardiologist at Mount Sinai. He listens, grasps and delivers recommendation and management plan based on his deep knoweledge of the subject matter. Does not run through a hunt and chase with esoteric lab tests. His management plan has a well defined purpose and he discusses it with you and family with ample details. I find myself quite fortunate to have found Dr. Heimowitz while looking for a cardiologist that could manage several powerful medications prescribed to me as being discharged from aortic valve replacement surgery just a few days ago. He too charge of monitoring my medications, ordered blood tests, echocardiogram and follow up. I could not be happier. Its too bad that the logistics of the other institution which performed my surgery could not arranged for a follow up appointment with me and my cardiologist there. Several calls to them, leading to assurance of a call back which never came convinced me that I was calling a wrong number. I will leave it at that.

Dr. Heimowitz has been my Cardiologist since 2010. He is a very caring and responsive Doctor that takes time to explain your diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend.
