The staff and therapists here are all very kind starting with the receptionist, Maria. She is very caring. A special five star rating for Javier OT. He has worked so well with my daughter. She has come a long way. The SLPs are also very dedicated (Gigi, Jennifer, Kareen and Damaris). Overall great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience with Melanie. Shes very knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. Shes the first person in my lifetime to put a positive spin on getting hearing aids. Im very happy with the product and would definitely recommend her. She puts in a lot of her time to make sure you are happy. If youre not, shell go the extra mile. Im lucky to have met her. She made me love hearing aids for the first time in my life, AND got me back into wearing them again after 10 years. Now, I cant get them off my ears!!

Hearing and Speech Center of Florida is a non-profit organization that has been in Miami for more than 80 years. Serving all ages, the community and offering different programs to satisfy your needs. The staff always work hard with the families in order to help them with the schedules and process all the paperwork for insurances or grants. The therapists are highly skilled and passionate to help the clients to achieve their goals. If you are committed to the success of your child and work as a team with the clinicians, this is the place you are looking for.

All the therapists are very kind and loving to the patients. The front desk staff is very friendly too and they can be very flexible with the schedule. The organization truly cares for serving the community in need of therapy services.

Terrible customer service. A receptionist told me I should just cancel my sons therapies because I informed them that he would be going through early steps in 30 days time. I never cance therapy unless my child is sick. If i am running late I reschedule for a later time the same day. However, this receptionist calls me and tells me (in a very rude tone of voice) do you want to just cancel all his therapy now since hes going through early steps and when I replied No, he needs his therapy until he can start at early steps, I dont want him to go a month without therapy she said well Im just saying since yuor always canceling might as well, but just let us know when we can cancel all his therapy sessions. I was very upset and didnt want to argue so I said ok and she hung up on me. I didnt take her name down but I dont feel comfortable taking my son there for another month or another day. ith the exception of a few of the SLPAs and an SLP that was very nice and great with my son, I would not recommend them based on this upsetting experience.

Beware if you want to work for this center. If you are a contract therapist working in the center you will never get the hours that they say you will. There is a high appt cancellation rate. Also you will never get paid on time. I frequently had to beg for my paycheck. You are promised a lot during the interview but that is all a fantasy not the reality.

This place is a nightmare. Highest turnover rate ever!

Terrible my experience in this place! Badly educated people at the reception, I give a star since the therapists deserve it, but the people at the reception ended up saying to find a place to take my son because they did not have space for me, it is worth saying that I never miss a therapy all the time I was polite and kind, but they do not know what education and kindness is
