I have received several treatments from Dr. Wu and Dr Li at Serene Life Acupuncture. I was having pain, resulting from a recent back injury. After each treatment, I felt less pain, then no pain. I now feel better than I’ve felt since the injury. I’m now continuing treatments for weight loss. I feel at peace, as well as, rejuvenated after each treatment. I’ve been to a few other acupuncturist, but Dr Wu and Dr Li have such wonderful dispositions. They are both very professional and holistically tuned in to my problems as a whole.

Excellent place : if you live with in pain . Dr LEE and her husband are excellent very friendly . Their schedules also flexible which is important . I have a medical implant in my spine ANS stimulator and even with this device it doesnt help me completely with the pain in my back , neck and legs but with doctors help therapeutic I am able to walk better and I dont need to use my cane all the time or my Walker . Whenever the pain gets really bad Im able to call her and she relieves the pain also anxiety she helps with that also and weight control amazing Ive even lost weight 27 lb I cant say enough about this place . I smoked cigarettes for almost 30 years. I tried to quit a few times and I couldnt do it. I heard acupuncture could help me quit smoking so I decided to go and see Dr.Wu and Dr.Li. I had a cyst in my right arm for several months. It was pressing in the nerve and it was hurting a lot. I couldnt even drink a glass of water with that hand! I been seen Dr. Li for over 4 years, the reason I seek acupuncture was after seen sports medicine physicians and many treatments of PT for a Frozen Shoulder and I was loosing mobility on my right arm and I was not seen progress I came-in in tears. My son had a very serious ulcerative colitis flare up in January. He was not improving despite the fact he was taking four different prescription medications. He was not sleeping well as he was waking up about five times per night to go to the bathroom with bleeding. After six weeks of no improvement, his gastroenterologist suggested if he did not improve soon, he would have to be hospitalized. At this point he had lost more than 20 lbs. This is when I took him to see Dr. Wu and Dr. Li. He was treated with acupuncture and prescribed Chinese herbs. After only two days on the herbs, he slept completely through the night and the bleeding was no longer apparent! He checked my son every few days and would adjust the herbs accordingly. I am suffering of chronic sinusitis for a very long time but it got worse after my 2 pregnancies. I had to be on antibiotic sometimes two as nothing was effective anymore. Any little cold , sore throat would end up in a painful sinusitis. Last year was the worse episode and nothing was helping , ibuprofen for pain and inflammation, antibiotic, sedafed for congestion, nasal wash, i was miserable. I had been suffering since March of 2017 from Chronic Urticaria (HIVES). It began at my knees, then progressed to my elbows, hips and ankles. Curiously, at my joints. Soon, I had hives everywhere on my body. On my scalp, in my ears, on my eyelids, palms of my hands and the bottoms of my feet. The itching was constant. It was relentless. I was waking up at all hours of the night getting into a cold shower, trying to get relief.Over the course of the next 9 months, I visited several top ranked Allergists, Dermatologists, Rheumatologists, Hematologists, Infectious Disease Specialists, Gynecologists, Family MDs and numerous E.R. teams.Being a Type 2 Diabetic complicated the medications I was given. Prednisone was my only means of relief from the breakouts and itching. Taking this steroid forced me to have to take Insulin injections 3-4 times a day to control my blood sugar. I was a regular guest at the lab. After countless blood tests, all the techs knew my story and knew me by name.Not one of those doctors could figure out what was causing my issue. I was forced to take Disability Leave from my job. I was not able to sit still, focus or concentrate. Depression set in, as before I knew it, I had gained a surplus of 40 pounds due to the Prednisone and Insulin.The Internet became my enemy. Way, too much uneducated research had me self-diagnosing and created so much more anxiety. On December 1, 2017, I was on my way to yet another E.R. visit. I was going to beg them to admit me into the hospital until they could figure out what was causing the hives. I felt like I was going to go out of my mind if I did not get some answers and relief.Sitting in my car in the hospital parking lot, I did one last Google search Hives/Treatment. Up popped ACUPUNCTURE. The one thing I had not tried.I found Dr. Li and Dr. Wu. I left the hospital and went directly to the Kendall office without even calling. It was a Friday morning and the doctors had not yet arrived. I was in tears and briefly told my story. The receptionist gave me a business card. I called the number and Dr. Wu answered. I have been dealing with lower back problems since my mid-twenties. For more than half my life I have had episodes with my lower back to the point that I have needed injections to relieve the pain when it was unbearable. An orthopedic surgeon told me that surgery was a 50/50 chance of getting better. In 2007 my health issues started to get worse. I had neck surgery, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, and in 2009 I had to have shoulder surgery. From 2007-2011 I had seen several specialists I had a variety of tests done, 5 MRIs, several blood tests, along with injections and medications.In the summer of 2012 best friend referred me to Dr. Li when I was having one of my lower back episodes. At the time, I was on three medications none of which helped with my lower back pain. My friend told me that Dr. Li practiced acupuncture and that I should consider alternative medicine. In my twenties I had acupuncture done on my neck and it did relieve the pain. Needless to say that after the first visit with her I left the office feeling much better. I had a few sessions done and felt so much better that I asked her to help me with my chronic neck pain, to help me manage my arthritis and my weight gain. I can happily say that I no longer take the three medications, my neck feels better, I have lost 12 pounds and the arthritis pain is so much better. In my case alternative medicine has worked because I have had treatment done and I have followed the suggestions of Dr. Li. My weight gain was due to a medication side effect, lack of mobility and basically eating too much. Dr Li helped me with treatment and by learning to eat sensibly. Once you make a decision to change your life style, which, in my case was to try alternative medicine only then, you can determine the advantages it has. I have been struggling with eczema on the face for about 8 years! I went to dermatologist prescribe steroid creams which only work about 2 weeks until the flare up return. I decided to try Acupuncture and it just 4 visit with Doctor Wu my skin condition have disappear and have not had any flare ups in 2 months. I will be referring my friends and family to him.

I met Dr. Li 4 years ago. I was trying to get pregnant with my second daughter. I hadnt had any trouble getting pregnant the first time but this was different. My OB/Gyn was unconcerned that I was 38 1/2 years of age and recommended a few cycles of Clomid. The first cycle, I didnt even ovulate! My menstrual cycle was irregular and I did some research and found Dr. Li online. I was nervous and didnt know what to expect. Dr. Li gave me an appointment right away and took my medical information. I saw her once a week for a month and did the acupuncture and herbs. She did explain that it could take 3-12 months to get pregnant. I did continue with the Clomid and did ovulate the next month. 2 more months went by with acupuncture and Clomid treatments and my menstrual cycle was now regular.I decided to see a fertility specialist. Fertility doctor ran tests and recommended I stop acupuncture and herbs; I didnt. January 7, 2013, the doctor told me that I would NEVER be able to get pregnant and if by some miracle I did, I would miscarry. I wasnt even recommended for IVF, but donor eggs as the only option.I was devastated but continued to see Dr. Li and relayed this to her; she assured me that my body was ready and in balance. I was conflicted but continued with acupuncture every 2 weeks and herbs. The VERY next month, at my visit with Dr. Li she asked if I was late for my period. I was and she asked if I had taken a pregnancy test, which I hadnt . I had all that info in my head from the fertility specialist. She detected something in my pulse. I proceeded with treatment and the next week still no menstrual cycle (2 weeks late). The next day, low and behold, pregnancy test was positive! I couldnt believe it!I went to see my OB/Gyn and confirmed pregnancy. I was still so scared that I would miscarry; I continued acupuncture with Dr. Li until the end of the first trimester. October 2013 I gave birth to healthy baby girl!I wholeheartedly believe TCM and Dr. Li made the difference. To anyone that is having trouble conceiving , please make an appointment with Dr. Li and Dr. Wu. They are wonderful and easy to work with. I highly recommended Serene Life Acupuncture.

After visiting several doctors and receiving injections of cortisone in the spine that nothing improved her, one day she read that acupuncture was helping people with sciatica, and I look for a doctor, Dr. Fayi Wu, near our home in Pembroke Pines, and I called him and could arrange an appointment with him that same day, at a convenient time for me. After several sessions with him, his back pains and his sleeping hands improved greatly. Its been three years since then and he has not felt those sharp pains before.A few days ago she felt some dizziness and decided to return to Dr. Wu, and in only two sessions with Dr. Wu the dizziness disappeared.
