I was scheduled and seen as a N/P in 4 days. I was made to feel comfortable immediately. Eva Burch, F-NP was very informative, friendly and really went out of her way to schedule my imaging and lab testing, same day, in the office. The office staff was friendly and efficient and the office was clean and inviting. I would highly recommend to anyone. I also was tested by Embry for COVID-19 on two separate occasions during the pandemic and I do not agree with the negative reviews. These healthcare professionals worked tirelessly in 100 + degree heat, to test as many people as they could. I don’t think some realize the scope of what they did, with the limited staff they had…Without much guidance from state and federal government. Not to mention how they sacrificed their own personal health for their patients health every single day! They are responsible for helping to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Arizona. The negative reviews should be directed to the appropriate facilities. The lab that processed your result is responsible for getting your result to you in a timely fashion. Thank you Embry for all that you’ve done for me and all of Arizona!

Couldnt find the Embry Health covid page to write a review but its all the same, its her son & theyre practicing under her license anyways. The CEO has been capitalizing off the public health crisis since covid began. They don’t care about the community. They care about how much money they can make. My results have been lost more than once, so have my family. I gave them more than one chance because its a free test but I wont be doing that again. They have unlicensed healthcare workers working, ive seen workers at the test sites not wearing proper protective gear. They literally are administering vaccines & drawing blood in peoples cars because permits have been expired on their units. The employees don’t care about their jobs & it reflects. Go somewhere else for your covid test. This place is horrible & not even worth it.

This review is about inside knowledge regarding the COVID side of Embry. They are drawing blood from the patients cars because the state shut down their pak vans. Although the state shut the vans down, they continue to perform blood work and vaccinations out of the van. The majority of the site staff members are untrained on how to draw blood or vaccinate people. Hell, an over whelming majority of the staff are untrained. If you dont get your results on time, its probably because the person signing you in input the information incorrectly or mixed it up with someone with the same or similar name. The entire operation was started on a learn as we go foundation and its still going on today. If they are shady about their business, do you think theyll do you any better? They are motivated by making money, not providing a service.

Everyone is really nice, so Im not going to give only one star, but Ive had a really bad time with billing and reception. I recently had some testing done, I was told someone would call me to talk about the testing results whether they were good or bad. No one ever called. I was also told that someone would call to schedule my follow up appointment because they knew it was time sensitive. No one ever called. I called the office a number of times throughout the week and got left on hold each time. I usually hung up after ten or fifteen minutes but the longest I waited on hold was a little over half an hour before I gave up. Eventually I used the patient portal to schedule the follow up appointment, but I assumed the followup would be scheduled with my normal doctor. Well I was wrong, so after taking the single dose prescription I needed for the follow up appointment, a double dose of pain killers, I went in only to be turned away and rescheduled with the right person. I told the three receptionists all this that Ive typed here, and they didnt seem to particularly care or even apologize. I have also gotten multiple bills in the mail, none of which match each other, and I have a different amount on my online billing portal, and when I asked in person how much I owe they told me a different amount that whats on my online portal or anything Ive gotten on paper. They also said they cant see the payment I already made, even though it says it cleared in my patient portal. Theyve also been between 30 and 80 minutes late getting me into my scheduled appointments each time I go.

I dont know how to express sufficient gratitude to the nurses, techs and assistants who work the endless hours - rain or shine - to run these covid testing stations. They have been a Godsend to our family; between the 4 of us, weve been tested almost a dozen times total by Embry staff.Results have always posted within 48 hours and we always get multiple notifications by phone, email and portal.These are the unsung heroes of this pandemic.

PLEASE DO NOT USE Embry Women’s SERVICE!!!!! Six days ago my whole Family experiencing symptoms, got tested at Copper trail schools and still no results. This place is a joke and only swab at the tip to mid length of nose. I’m pretty sure this is outside of the scope of the guidelines. They probably lost the results or never handed them in... either way it’s a waste of time. Too many other good spots, the last thing you need to do during this time is worry more.

This clinic under the guise of TestNow is taking tests that they never submitted to LapCorp as they claim. I had a test taken and 7 days later they send me a text to tell me my test is now invalid and they never submitted it for results. I wonder if they took the states money for my test. They are lying to people . This is unconscionable, I have no way of contract tracing without these results. DO NOT BE FOOLED by this clinic or their free testing. You will also notice on their site that they only post 5 star reviews. Not one person rated them under 5?!? Highly doubt it.

The check in lady Yesenia was amazing! She was extremely nice and gave us so much information about covid testing and antibody testing that answered all of our questions. She was also extremely nice to my wife and helped set her OBGYN appointment for my wife!

I want to first start by saying thank you to Eva Burch NP I saw her for my yearly check up. I am the type of person that is extremely nervous about Dr. and getting tests and doing Paps. (We can all agree it is not fun). I have never had a provider make me feel so at ease and so comfortable. I was looking for a provider to build a relationship with and to feel comfortable enough to go to if I ever needed to be see for anything. Eva meet all of those needs for me and I can’t thank her enough. She could tell I was nervous and even sat on the floor to come to eye level to me to talk to me in order to make me feel more comfortable. I love love love love love her and this office. I can’t attest to all of these negative reviews about covid testing....also who gets tested at a gyno? I mean I get it they have tests but also there are plenty of other places to get tested like an Urgent care. Anywayyy, she was the best and I will certainly becoming back! Do not go through anything relating to embry health for a covid-19 test. You will NEVER get your results. I know the response here will be that this is for their office in Mesa, and I dont care its all the same company. Their gross incompetence during a pandemic can cause all sorts of harm. I took a test two weeks ago and was finally informed today that Id need to retest. Uh yeah, did that with a different company in order to return to work! These people dont care.

I do not recommend for COVID-19 testing. I have been waiting for my test results over double the time period they gave me at the time of my testing and have been sent in circles by their phone operators. Go somewhere else for COVID testing, they will take forever to give you your results.

Do not use this company!!! Been waiting a full week for my results and continually get sent in a circle by unprepared staff. I get told my results are pending and that Ill get a call before and of business day. Still nothing after getting tested on the 8th. Tells you to text but you wont ever get a reply. Calling is a joke cause youll waste an hour or more of your time and never get anyone.

My husband and I were forced to get Covid tests in order to return to work. The MCC testing site listed it as a FREE test. My husband received this bill in the mail today. We will be disputing this. Others should be aware though that this is happening.

My experience started 1 week ago with Embry. I signed up for a COVID test in Scottsdale at Oak Learning Academy. Then I got a notification that I needed to be in Mesa to take the test. I followed my emails and went to Mesa (30 min drive), I almost passed out in the car from symptoms. I finally get there and they tell me that there website has errors and I have to drive 30 minutes back to Scottsdale to sit in line because we are not going by reservations even though are website says we are. I waited in the COVID testing line for 1 hour. The whole experience took me 2 hours to get a simple COVID test. Even better is that everywhere you get a COVID test it takes 48 hours. Embry promises 3-5 days and still I have no COVID results. The Government need to step in and shut down this institution due to endangering the public. I have had covid for a full 6 days with no test results and these people are getting rich off of the public by not providing a legitimate service.

This is the worst office I’ve ever visited, I had an 8:20 apt and arrived at 8:35. I was late because I couldn’t locate the office and sat on hold for 10 minutes while driving around. The office staff didn’t answer and then told me I needed to reschedule for being late. I will never visit the office again. Worst first visit experience I’ve ever had.

This is the only OBGYN office I have found where I feel 100% comfortable getting gynecological care done. I have had so many bad/uncomfortable experiences at other offices in the past. On the flip side, I have been to Embry Women’s Health several times over the past 3+ years and always had a comfortable, positive experience. From the front desk staff to all of the doctors I’ve seen, everyone has been caring, considerate, and pleasant to work with.Since the pandemic began, I have been into the office twice for gynecological issues. Once in the summer and most recently, in October of this year. Even though the office is so much busier now that they are offering Covid testing, the level of care I received was 100% consistent with all of my past positive experiences. Knowing how busy they must be with the testing program, I wasn’t really expecting that, and I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed!Despite all of the negative reviews, I really appreciate this practice’s efforts to help expand Covid testing services across the valley. My family & I needed testing done back in April, and I was very surprised that of all places, my gynecologist was the only medical practice I could find offering Covid testing for the general public. We got results ahead of schedule and had no issues.

I took my wife Saturday 7/11 to MCC for a Covid test.....still no results 16 days later! I will let you guess which one, shes either dead or over it.......thanks for 2 weeks of stress!! .....meanwhile my work hired a testing company, i got tested, results came back the same day. find somewhere else that can actually process the test.7.25. I am adding an update to my post above....its now been 16 calendar days since my wife tested. sorry you think my comments are hurtful....but you failed! 16 days and counting is not an acceptable turn around time. People go somewhere that can actually give you a test result in a time frame that matters. 3 weeks later is a joke.....but you got paid, right?!! still dont have results!!!

Just like the others on here, my partner and I went to one of Embry’s COVID testing sites on July 12th. We waited a long time for the staff to get their act together, about an hour or more past our appointment time. Then insult to injury, we still have not received our results and it’s the 25th now. I sent them a message through their EHR days ago and no one bothered to respond to me. They really need to work on their customer service IMO. Lastly, it was very insulting to see that you submitted a claim and were paid by my insurance company for a test that as far as I’m concerned never happened. That’s not legal. I will be filing a grievance with them against you. Folks, based on my experience, go elsewhere for a COVID test. This organization is not reliable or communicative at all.

Terrible customer service and this company is not responsible. Have to wait for a long time for test results just to get a message saying that they dont use that lab and now i have to retest. Thats ridiculous that a company doesn’t care about their customers health to get results first then stop using that lab. Don’t recommend coming here and don’t recommend you trusting them with your health.

I tested 12/26/2020. Still no results although they had no problem billing my insurance. I have called, texted, sent email and called again and again with no response or return call. Do not perform testing if you cannot provide results.

Been here a few times. The staff and doctors are generally nice and friendly. However, when I went in for an issue recently, I felt that my concerns were trivialized and she kind of made me feel stupid for coming in at all. Then she actually performed the exam and conceded that there was indeed something wrong. I was told my test results would be in on Tuesday. I waited until Wednesday and still hadnt heard back, so I called the office. I was told that my results had just come back in and were currently being reviewed by the doctor, and that I should see the results on the patient portal later that day. The results were not published until an entire week later. Does not feel good to be brushed aside and straight up lied to like that... I liked the doctors here in the past but I dont think I will be coming back after this.

I love Joellen! I saw her thru two pregnancies and currently found her again and i am beyond blessed and happy to see her beautiful face! She spent two hours discussing options etc with me and i will never switch to another dr again. So amazing and thorough! I highly recommend her!

On my second visit I was told they no longer will take my insurance. I have tests Im in the middle of and followups. Now I have to find a new gyno and have ppwk transferred to new dr. Starting all over again. Ugg
