If you have kids avoid this place. They dont like them looking around might break their expensive trash. Employees need some more customer service training.

This is my favorite Goodwill in Phoenix! I love the manager, Keri and all of the employees seem to be having fun and working hard. A special thank you to Chris as well who helped me with my furniture today. I always find great things here.

Theyre really, really slow and lines pile up. Also pretty pricey for a thrift store. But they always honor my returns and have an okay selection that changes often.

Trying on a jacket, an associate told me we dont like customers trying on the clothes after apologizing I thought, the other Goodwill stores dont have that issue so why this one. I did see other customers trying on shirts and jackets, only I was reprimanded.

Had about 30 plus cases of reams 8 each of brand new NEW clean paper all different colors in each box. Some reams have 2000 pages. Great for crafting. I called the Mckellips & Center location and spoke with the manager. The reason for doing so is in the past at this location I have found the personnel at the donation entrance are sometimes less than energetic. Some like to stand inside the shady building and watch people unload large donations themselves. I wanted an assurance there would be help to unload. The pallets had to weigh 500 pounds. I was told there would be help out there. The boxes of paper were palletized. I told the manager they were. I told her I would be there in about ten minutes. At least 15 passed. Its hot out. I get that but I am in it as well. When I got there the guy that walked out had on a blue ball cap. He knew nothing about it. He took one look and asked what it was. I said brand new paper in the packages. Lots of it. He abruptly said we dont take paper. I said Huh? I told him I had just spoken to the manager. She knew what I had to donate and said nothing of the kind. My wife shops at Goodwill. She has bought all kinds of crafting supplies including paper. Finally a second Goodwill guy walked over and said absolutely they will take it. He asked if he could use the forklift to pick it off the trailer. Of course. I had told the manager it was on two pallets. My point. If someone arrives with a large donation of stuff that will make Goodwill lots of money like that paper dont allow lazy employees to cause the donation to leave. When the guy told me you did not take paper I told him I will take it elsewhere (Not Goodwill). He had no problem with it.

Place seems to be full of people who like to wait around. Waited in line 10 minutes for stuff I really didnt need. I was told it was gunna be a little while longer, so I left with zero intention of ever returning.

This Goodwill has clean restrooms that smell good. They have a wide variety of items and they dont run out of all the good stuff during the week. 1/2 price for everything in the store every other Saturday is a great deal. The furniture for sale is good quality. They do not put junk out on the sale floor.

Price gouging. All Goodwills area are a bit high priced. Unlikely to find a deal unless a sale day, but this place has raised their prices outrageously. For a store with a poor selection to begin with, surely isnt the way to do business. This used to be priced as other locations. Is this your covid tax?

Will find nice clothes from time to time, outside will sometimes have weird people. Wish staff would do something about it but it doesnt matter if you are inside shopping. Awesome things found here.

Goodwill is goodwill! Ive never seen a super high end goodwill. Its about average on their scale. You can find some great finds just like any other locations. Staff was extremely courteous.

Nothing but crackheads and the workers are rude. A jacket didn’t have a tag and the manager went in the back and slapped a $8.99 tag on a $3 jacket. RIP OFFS. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS GOODWILL. Should be shut down!!!!!

The place has some good deals. Some items are a little higher than expected, but you can definately find some good deals if you take the time to look.

Huge store , with a wide clothing variety. Always have animal carriers

The store is quite dirty. Looking for assistance was hard. Could only walk back up and cashier.

High end clothes can be found. Just picked up 2 Canali shirts, Armani shirt ($1), Burberry shirt and suit coat, wooden suit hangers and to top it off, a Chanel authentic purse. All for about $44 total. The lady manager knows her stuff and is especially helpful!

Need to lower the price on VHS movies they used to all be 50 cents a piece and I would always buy them up at that price. Now they are all priced between $1 to $4 and that is a ridiculous price for a VHS tape. I even saw all the VHS tapes that I donated on the shelf priced at $2 I gotta say I was annoyed and dont want to shop here anymore or donate any of my stuff.

I donate there weekly, I have never been asked for a receipt for taxes and the people always have attitudes. Today i dropped off stuff and also found 3 shopping carts on my street and brought them back. The people made me unload them didnt say anything about them and never once did any of them say thank you.Im very upset.and i dont think I will be dealing with Goodwill anymore. Teach your employees how to act with customers.

I went to buy an item here, they had the wrong tag on it, this location is super picked and they also have once kicked me out for coming in within 10 minutes of closing... seriously?! Last time I donated stuff at this location, the employee that helped me was a jerk. He sighed when I arrived and told me to look at all the stuff he already had to process. He wasnt friendly at all.

Decent goodwill but under staffed, slow to respond to customers waiting at the glass cases and tends to have a lot of empty video game cases out for sale.

No one to help you with anything. Worker are rude and dont want to get a price for you if something s doesnt have a tag. The person who prices their items. Price way to high. I asked what the price of an item was on a couple occasion. Got a higher price then the original price tag. I live near this goodwill and go in there a couple times a week. Store is always trashed.
