Dont waste your time or money.This facility is non- professional and prescribe medication without looking at your chart history.Nancy Day is the kind of doctor who cares nothing about you,your family or childrens health.She prescribed medication to my child that put her in the hospital for 2 weeks and even after 1 year my child is still suffering and having to get physical therapy.She is only in this business for the money.Leave immediately before your family suffers like my child did.

This office has been so very helpful with my long and arduous workers compensation issues. They were honest and upfront about what the process could possibly be like and P.A Ian Battes was especially helpful and attentive. I havent had any issues with the front desk, receptionist, or Medical Assistants. Everyone is always professional and polite when I have been there. I did notice that alot of the reviews that do have issues with scheduling, or some other front desk problem, are quite old. Six months ago or longer, so dont be put off by the really old reviews. I havent had any issues and I hope to be a long term patient.

UPDATE: Our entire family is leaving this facility. We had tons of rain and there were accidents on the way. What normally would have taken less than 10 minutes to get to the location, took over 30 minutes. I was on hold with them the entire time to let them know I might be a few minutes late. I ended up getting there 3 minutes after my scheduled time (which was 15 min earlier than what they told me it was when I scheduled), and no one would see me to get a prescription written. I had to reschedule and come back the next day and take more time off work.Then! They were sending me a referral from my first appointment. It took them 3 weeks to send it to me. I finally got it today. I called the number and found it disconnected. I searched the name of the guy they referred me to and found out hes been DEAD for over 5 years. They referred me to a doctor who not only is no longer in business but is dead. This just shows the level of detail they spend on their practice. Avoid this place at all costs. We are leaving to a new doctor who actually pays attention to what they are doing.I will preface this with the fact that I give the PA and NP at the Tempe location 5 stars. They are fantastic and we are lucky to have found them. HOWEVER, the scheduling staff and MA that answer the phones are rude, impatient, and useless. I am trying to schedule my appointment, and we are a 1 car family. The days and times she was giving me werent working, and after the 3rd one, she rudely said to me, well you should give us a call when you can get your schedule figured out. I explained that I am looking at my schedule, and its not as easy as saying Im available on this day. She was only offering 1 time slot available each day, and someone else was either in school or in appointments at the times she had. She also kept talking over me and being very rude. I get that you may not like your job or youre having a bad day, but you cant take it out on people because they are annoying you or frustrating you. This is literally your job!When I finally was able to schedule, she changed the time and then hung up on me. If this was my first impression of the clinic, I would cancel it, but its a prescription emergency and its faster to keep the appointment and get the medication I had stolen refilled so I dont have a medical emergency and find myself without medication.

Scheduling: I called in to schedule an appointment with doctor Richard, however after waiting for over 5 min on the line, I was told he is booked for months. They recommended I see the PA on staff.First appointment: despite showing up 30 minutes earlier and being the only person in the waiting area, they still brought me to the back about 10 minutes later than scheduled. PA was nice, but was unsure of what was causing my issue, so he recommended blood work and referred me to a cardiologist as well.I was told he would call me within the next few days with the blood results - I received no call.I was also told I would be called within a week or so for the referral - I received no call.I just got around to calling them back today (close to a month after the first appointment) and waited for 9 minutes to talk to the receptionist. She said she would have to transfer me to 2 departments to follow up on the blood tests and the referral.After being transferred and waiting on the line again, I found out that the blood tests came out fine and the referral was not yet scheduled.I do not recommend this clinic if your time is valuable.

I wish I could give this establishment less than one star. The office people are rude and I think not very knowledgeable about what it is that they do....they are in the caring business. If they want to be in the uncaring business, they should do something else. I dont need to be coddled but respect would be nice. I got a flu shot three weeks ago (as did my husband). The fluid that should have gone inside me dribbled down my arm. They maintain that there was no problem and that I am covered for the flu this year. They would not give me another nor would they check to see if ANY of the vaccine actually went inside me! This happened at the end of the year 2015. Then our insurance changed at the first of the year. My husband had a follow up appointment that he made two days ago (for the same day....only way they make appointments, which is ridiculous). He called the central desk and she asked if his insurance had changed. He said it had but the number remained the same. She said that was fine. About two hours later, fifteen minutes before his appointment, a girl from the office called and said, we cant see you today. We dont take your insurance. My husband explained that it was a follow up visit and she didnt care. We wont see you, is what she said! What?Neither of us will be going back....EVER. The doctor was condescending. They changed locations and when we made the appointment, nobody bothered to tell us that theyd moved. Its just a mess over there! Save yourself the trouble and find another doctor! FYI...the address listed on this review is wrong.

By far the worst experience I have EVER had at a Doctors office. From the start, the front office staff was very short with me (not friendly at all), then when the doctor came into the room, he was very short with me and acted as if he didnt give a crap why I was there or what I was telling him. I have been having severe back pain for nearly a year and went to him to seek help ( I cannot sit/stand/or lay down for long periods of time without being in horrible pain). Well he looked and my medical history, had me bend down and touch my toes (which was very painful) then had me sit back on the table. He then told me you are young and healthy; I really dont think anything is wrong with you, maybe you should try exercising once in a while. I then said, well you are not me, you dont know what I am feeling or experiencing. He then said fine I will have them do full blood work before you leave today and Ill also send you for x-rays. I then asked for something for the pain and he said no, I dont think there is anything wrong. Long story short, I got the blood work and x-rays waited a week and nobody ever called with my results. I finally called them back and asked if my results were back. After being hung up on 3 times and being on hold for 25 minutes a very rude lady came on the phone and asked what I needed. I asked if my test results were back and she then asked well did we call you to say they were back? I told her no, that is why I am calling. She asked my name, then stated what tests did you have? I told her blood work and x-rays. She said what is it that you are wanting to know I said my results! She then said they had not received the blood work back after 8 days (which is crazy) I asked her what to do and she told me if you want to know your results and where they are maybe you should call the lab yourself. I was in complete shock! I then asked about the x-ray results and she said ya their here and there is nothing wrong with you. I could keep going but I will spare you from anymore horrible details about this place. I will never be going back there and would NOT recommend that anyone go to this practice. Needles to say they were a complete waste of my time. I am still in lots of pain and will be seeking a second opinion as I feel that nobody at this office truly looked into my results or even gave a crap about the care (or lack of) that they were giving me.

Ive never had a problem with the office. Dr. Dinsdale has been great. There was a time where the gal at the front desk was new so it took her a little longer, but understanding that I gave her the leeway and had no issues.

I definitely recommend this place. Went in for an annual check-up, the lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly as well as professional. The PA was nice and efficient, answering all of my questions without making me feel rushed, which is the problem I always have with other doctors. They gave me a flu shot and did all of my lab work in house, saving me a couple of hours it wouldve taken at LabCorp/Sonora Qwest. Overall, this is one of the best offices Ive been to.

I went there because the SS office said I needed a letter from a physician stating that my daughter was in fact still alive. The doctor turned it into a new patient visit with a full baby work up, made me sign a paper saying I did not want to give my baby a vaccine at that time and then told me at THE VERY END of an hour long appointment, that they would not be giving me the letter for the SS office. It was very annoying but I respected their process and went home. I called back today and stayed on hold for 45 minutes to find out they had gotten what they needed but had not written or signed the paper/letter. Still I am trying to be patient, but I have to say that I wont be returning to this office, even though it is literally walking distance from my home. The office staff was not terribly rude, but the older lady at the front desk, Im guessing office manager, was rude. I think she was trying to be nice but didnt quite succeed. After she told me my girls couldnt stand on the chairs because they could fall, I told them very nicely to get down and she echoed me(as they were getting down) with a nice yell at them to get down. She offered to let them color, but gave several rules and then added very rudely dont eat my crayons Geez, we felt welcome. Honestly I couldnt wait to get out of there. However the nurses that took her vitals were very kind.

Ive seen more than one provider here and have always gotten excellent care. I would also like to say that the person who draws blood is the best Ive ever had! I have always had the nicest experience when making appointments, getting referrals, and anything I had to deal with. I am happy to be a patient here no that I found them.

Don’t go to this family practice! They will tell you they are an in-network office but come to find out they aren’t. They will charge your insurance as if you were an out of office patient. So instead of paying a standard copay, you’ll get a $300 bill. Also, they don’t care about their patients at all. My wife came in for an ear infection and was prescribed some antibiotics. The next day the pain was so excruciating that she called them back. Instead of asking her to come back in, they told her to just wait till the full 48 hours has passed. They have no idea what they are doing here. Don’t waste your time or money.

For some unknown reason, they only accept same day appointments, so you have to call first thing in the morning only to get told that the doctors schedule is already filled up. Had to schedule to see the PA instead. Ian Bates, the PA seemed knowledgeable. He was the best part of the visit. The front counter woman (the older one) was either having a bad day or she is just a miserable slug. She acts like its beneath her to talk to people.Will update with subsequent visits.

If I could give 0 out of 5 stars I would.Ive been in excruciating back pain for 6 months, finally after 6 months they issued me a referral for an MRI. Ive seen 3 doctors here in the past 6 months and every single one of them said my back hurts because I am overweight. I am 5 foot 11 inches, at 203 pounds. Over the past year I have lost 57 pounds. Even when I was 57 pounds heavier I didnt feel a single bit of pain in my back, so thats not the case.They have had the MRI results since Monday at Noon and its now Tuesday at 2 PM. The gal on the phone, Caludia I want to say, said it takes 48 hours to get the results through the physician. I said funny, its now been 50 hours, and she hung up on me.I am now going to head their way, and get a copy of the report for myself, since I have now been waiting 6 months for some sort of results.

There are many bad things about them. The only good point is that their office is close to my home. I think we should go to a farther place but a better one.1. I took an appointment with Dr. Melvin Bottner for my friend, but without any notice in advance Dr. Gene Winfield came to visit us. Is this appropriate?2. Dr. Winfield was supposed to refer us to a psychiatrist. After 3 weeks when I called to follow up, they said there is no referral to a psychiatrist at all, and call you insurance. When I called my insurance, the company said they have to refer you, otherwise you could not see a specialist, call them and ask to fill the form. I called again and after 10 minutes of waiting, the representative angrily told me that we do not refer you since there is no profit for us with psychiatry.It seems that they only care about money and their profit.3. Their referral section is too rude. She is unable to understand simple English and impolitely talks like that I am disturbing their business.

THEY BULLY SENIOR CITIZENS!Im writing this review for my grandma, Gloria, who walked out of their office and cried due to the quality of service from their physicians assistant, LAURA DAY. I often accompany her to appointments.History: Gloria has been seeing Dr. Winfield for over ten years and she followed him to Desert Grove Family Medical in Tempe by St. Lukes two years ago. Thats where things began to go downhill. it was obvious Dr. Winfield was not happy there and left about a month ago. Which is why my grandma had to see LAURA DAY.The Service: LAURA DAY was quick to dismiss my grandma, during her appointment and after that day her last appointment at Desert Grove Family Medical. When I say she bullied my grandma I mean to say she ACTUALLY MADE HER CRY, a 65 year old citizen who had questions about her health. Instead she kept saying I TOLD YOU in such a dismissive manner that it made my grandma feel invalidated.Imagine having spent the night before going over and writing down a list of questions and then having someone like LAURA DAY make you feel like an idiot about your concerns and pain.The previous reviews are right and I hope to goodness that this practice will do the right right thing and heavily reconsider their employment of Laura Day as she is bully and should not be under anyones care.We do not recommend this practice to anyone since Dr. Winfield left. The only reason they have 1 star is because there is no 0 star option.

Arrived a half hour early for an 8:15 appt, was the first person there. Filled out their 20+ pages of papers. Then sat there for the next 35 minutes while everybody that came in after me was seen, and I continued to sit there. Finally after seven people went in ahead of me, I had enough and left. I only have so much time available before work and this place clearly doesnt respect their patients time. And this was the 4th floor too (406), which other reviewers indicated was better than some.

Dr. Wood and Dr. Dinsdale are the very best, Dr. Goodman is pretty good too, they listen and take action. Amazing Drs.Some of the newer staff can be snooty but for the most part its alright. If you always ask to see one of these 3 you are in good hands.Been seeing them for 7 years

This place does not accept InQuicker appoimtments even. I had an appointment and they said your appointment is made when they call you. They never called. I do not recommend this place or any of their other locations. Ive been to 2 of their locations. Never again.

My Daughter and I have been going there for yrs now. And after Dr yet again said if you dont want pain and want to sleep put her (daughter) in a home!And well feeling like cattle in and out, you try to tell what is wrong, ect they stopped caring PLEASE DONT GO THERE IF YOUR TAKING CARE DISABLED CHILD OR ADULT! Cause if you keep complaining about pain or tired the doc will blame the disabled person. Got numerous problems with back ( degenerative disc disease, bulging disc, spinal stenosis) Still care for my child STOP blaming an innocent person and just help! Be happy there are moms like me out there not say dont know how you do it I couldnt!So PLEASE MARK MY WORDS dont go there nice at first but then after while become rude, insensitive, unprofessional! Found another doctors office 6-7 yrs if this doctors office is and was a waste!

I visited the family practice twice. Those experiences with both the doctor and the nurse practitioner were fantastic. The office staff, physician and nurse practitioner are efficient. Both the doctor and the nurse practitioner or friendly and thorough. The only part about my experience that would keep me from a 5-star is the experience that I had with one of the receptionist. But it was partially my own fault as I had lost my drivers license insurance card and debit card while getting my blood pressure checked I was certain that fell out of my hoodie pocket. I asked the receptionist if someone could look for it. She said she would have the medical assistant look. I waited 20 minutes receptionist called me up while she had someone elses identification and insurance card in her hand which led me to believe they were mine. She said no these arent yours we couldnt find yours. Granted I had them in my hand when I stepped up to the receptionist desk originally before the appointment so it had to be in the office it couldnt be anywhere else. Seems uncaring about my circumstances and I had to leave the office without my identification. I went home and cancelled everything and then an hour later they called me to tell me they found them. She had no empathy and did not offer an apology even after I explained I already cancelled everything and ordered a new identification card. Again my fault I lost it therefor five stars it is

The doctor I was going to in Scottsdale moved and I had been going to urgent care for the last two years. I decided it was time to find a doctor. Because I was a new patient I couldnt get in right away to any other office I called other then Desert Grove and I needed medical attention right away for my UTI. The office staff and medical staff were all friendly and with smiles. I even received 3 complements while I was there on what I was wearing. I was in and out within 45 minutes and even got my flu shot for the year taken care of. They took time to answer all of my questions and I plan to return again.

Please be warned about this clinic, Desert Grove Family Medicine, McKellips Road location. And if the office manager apologizes be wary...She may not really mean it.Okay so story time it may be long but...:My daughter and I went to this location to have her medical paperwork filled out to do a mission trip. Because we pay cash,they couldnt do the shots or the TB test. No worries, Frys Little Clinic did an awesome job!!!We took all shot records and tests in to them as the shots were completed. When all was done, we asked for the completed mission paperwork and they had lost the shot records and had not recorded them on the paperwork or in her records. No worries, Frys Little Clinic had them. We dropped off the records again and they said they would have them ready for us when the blood tests came back. They would call us when they were done.We waited another week and then called them. They let us know then that it was done and we could pick the paperwork up. We went by, got paperwork and dropped it off to her ecclesiastical leader, only to have the him return it because the shot records were not filled out.We took the paperwork back in and they had lost the shot records again. Frys Little Clinic to the rescue, again. Told them we would wait but they said the doctor had to fill it out and they would call us after lunch. No CALL. Called on the next business day (Monday). Still not done. They said they would call us. (I was skeptical at this point) 3 more days, then we called...Not done. So another Monday, I go in personally and ask to speak with the office manager (you see, I manage a clinic, and if my staff was struggling this much I would want to know). 45 minutes later the receptionist said that they would help me soon. She was filling out some paperwork. I found out that it was my daughters paperwork that the doctor has to fill out. The receptionist handed me the paperwork. When I told her that I still wanted to speak to the office manager she told me that I could call her but that she was too busy to come up.I did finally speak to the office manager. I didnt yell, I didnt even blame her, I just told her that I thought she would want to know what had happened. She said she understood and she was sorry.As I read my daughters paperwork, it had things on it that were NOT her health issues....I was totally annoyed, but let it go because my daughter just wanted to get the paperwork in. AND THEN TODAY, CERTIFIED MAIL ($3.80) THIS....A letter stating that they were releasing her from care because they could not meet her expectations.You couldnt keep records well enough? You couldnt fill out forms in a timely manner? You couldnt have an office manager that knows how to train staff to be great gatekeepers for a doctor who doesnt deserve to lose patients? JEESH!!!

I am being stuck with over $700 in bills from their mistakes. I went in for a routine physical to get a check up with lab work ect. It was not billed as a check up and the diagnosis they placed on me was obesity. The Doctor asked if I wanted to lose weight and I said yes, who doesn’t?! I was coerced to say this I feel. Now my visit, my lab work, and my follow up visit it not being paid for by my insurance for their mistakes. I have talked to them many times to try and get this fixed and they refuse.

Dr. Dinsdale is the best. I have always had a great experience with him. Dr. Dinsdale has been my doctor for 15 years. I have seen him for pretty much everything under the sun and he has always taken very good care of me.

This office is good only ig you see Lisa Eckerson the npa. Try to get appointment at this office is not going to happen. They only take same day appointments. NO matter what the problem. I just talked to a Jennifer in scheduling and was politely told off. I have inched nerve in my neck and told by the Doctor there to call and follow up if any issues. I have been try for week to be seen. My vision is now being affected as well as my right side of my body.

These people that work here are the worst individuals Ive ever met. Rude staff. We have a foster daughter through Child Protective Services and they keep calling the mother whoever restraining order against her and legal paperwork and they still call her. I see a lawsuit happing soon. DO NOT GO HERE!

I accompanied my friend here. The doctor (Dr. White) was friendly on first visit but hostile on the the second. He didnt listen when she explained that shed had an adverse reaction to the medication that hed prescribed and told her she was welcome to look elsewhere if she didnt like the process he was using to find out what was causing her pain.Also be aware, this clinic requires extreme evidence before prescribing any narcotics which is offensive to me since it makes the normal. average person feel like their being accused of being a drug user just because OTC meds like Tylenol and Advil are not helping with their pain.Dont go here.

This office is a joke. Seen Kathleen nurse practitioner for abdominal pain. She send me for a ultrasound and doesnt offer pain meds. So I call back and ask for something she calls me in something I cant take! Great job reviewing my chart! What else was over liked. And Angelica office manager was no help either. She brushed me off! just left the office to have my results gone over. And instead of trying to figure out my reason for pain.. Im questioned about a pain pill I received back in Dec for a surgery. I have never been more insulted in my entire life! I have been made to feel like a junky.. Im absolutely reporting this office again to the medical board 7

Im extremely disappointed that I send referrals to this office and we have mutual clients and there scheduling staff is extremely rude and unprofessional , they do not try to help in anyway . I will never refer to this office again and will be looking for another Dr. for my clients.
