My mother was in so much pain from a scorpion sting that we had to leave Banner Gateway to come here at Abrazo. The staff was so friendly and they acted as quickly as they could and made us feel like everything was going to be ok. I appreciate them so much and for taking great care of my mother.

Came in by ambulance at about 3:30 am and was discharged by 7:30 am! Fast, friendly staff. Both doctors that I saw were very nice and answered all questions. The nurses, aids, CT women, etc. were all very nice to me. I was treated with utmost respect and I would certainly come back here and highly recommend this hospital. It doesnt take trauma patients since it is so small.

What a joke. The front desk staff are rude and seem like an inconvenience that you are asking questions. A family member hit there head and wasn’t in the right state of mind and they wouldn’t even let us talk to them. They basically said that they could transfer them if they wanted to to any hospital and that there was nothing we could do. The doctors are jokes as well as the nurse’s. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Lady at front is just straight up rude and needs training on bedside manners.

The Nurses and the Doctor were kind and caring of my little one.We came in On Aug 4 th night shift. I have the worst anxiety and as a parent I just cant thank you enough for your kindness. It was a very fast E.R visit and thorough with testing. They answered all my questions putting me and my little one at ease.

Took my granddaughter there a few months ago she had a lunch table drop on her foot it was bruised swollen they put her in bed brought the x-ray machine to her bed she didnt have to walk any where they were jind courteous an cimpassionate ...what they said advuce they gave was perfect it healed like he said an we were thoughtful for going to an e.r.withing minutes being seen an no long waits waiting for a dictor or procedures its was fast an accute THANK U WE NEED MORE COMMUNITY HOSPITALS LIKE YOURS IN EVERYONE NEIGHBORHOODS...

Absolutely LOVE this little hospital! My husband and l have been cared for here a few times me for migraine and him for bad tooth infection and then a heart rate issue. Always great care all 3 times.

I am a patient as of this review and I was in the ER and none of my needs were mt I have a shattered hip and I am wheelchair bound and have other medical problems I had told the nurse that I needed help going to the and they told me I can do it on my own when I could not

Impersonable and incredibly cold staff. As a family member I felt that my loved one wasnt listened to or heard. This is incredibly disappointing compared to the experience at the arrowhead location.

Went there for my friend who was in pain, and not even a 10mins we were already going back. They are very caring and care for you. Very awesome

My new go to place for emergency care! I’ve been here twice now and both times I was greeted with care and respect from the receptionist. I was seen in a reasonable amount of time. The nursing staff and techs were caring and personable. They made sure I was comfortable and followed up with the doctors instructions for plan of care. The doctors were caring and took the time to listen, answer all questions and made sure I was comfortable with the care plan they were placing me on. A+ ED

Beware!! My next stop will be the medical board to file complaints on this horrid hospital and every where else I can be heard! Do not waste your time, money or life here! My daughter was brought in by an ambulance for severe abdomen pain. My daughter has a medical marijuana card due to another health issue. As soon as they drew blood (they only procedure they did to evaluate her) and saw THC in her system, they gave up on thoroughly checking her symptoms. The Dr. and nurse told my daughter she needs to make a bowel movement and stop THC and she will be fine. My daughter WAS making bowel movements. The way the nurse spoke down to my daughter was sad! As nurses they should be trained better on how to treat sick scared patients!!! I took my daughter to a different hospital where she was diagnosed correctly with a stomach ulcer!!! These doctors and nurses who barely even speak English could care less about the patients brought in here. If your ambulance tries to take you here tell them NO! You have every right to speak up!

This place is really disappointment I was there last night and the doctor who was there was like I dont care attitude the staff was great but the doctor didnt even do anything for me he just looked at me like what was I doing there thats how I felt never again will I go there or recommend this place just wanted to be brief dont want to get into details.. beware if you are really sick dont go there

Absolutely terrible experience here. Recommend going anywhere else. Came in October 22nd with a lower leg injury during a softball game. I had obviously dislocated my knee but was in extreme pain. After explaining what happened in the emergency room they popped my knee back in. Still in tremendous pain they said they had fixed everything even after the doctor proceeded to touch my leg and still see me in terrible pain he said I would be fine and sent me on my way. Woke up the next morning still in horrific pain and go to urgent care to find out my ankle is broken. The urgent care said that the hospital showed extreme negligence by sending me on my way without being able to properly take care of me which I agree with 100%. I’d give them 0 stars if possible for pathetic care of a patient.

Honestly, the best emergency care I have ever received. I am grateful I chose this hospital- I was tired of not getting the answers I needed. Finding generalized feedback at other hospitals, it was becoming exhausting. They made me comfortable during a relatively uncomfortable visit. Thank you all for the amazing care- from the nurses, doctors to every staff member I came in contact with.

I will never go back. I am extremely sick and they just brushed me off, did not seem like they cared at all. It was not a positive experience, I will personally never go back there.

I was visiting from the Midwest and went to Abrazo after going to three other facilities (all Banner) with extreme abdominal pain. The first felt my case was too complicated and sent me to the second one where I got a 15 minute infomercial about how wonderful Banner is, but no help. After suffering without help for over an hour I left. Eventually, with the pain approaching unbearable levels, I tried another Banner facility and the experience was even worse with a projected wait of 3 hours to even be seen.I hit Google to find an alternative and saw Abrazo. They saw me as soon as I got there, got me admitted, and care providers were on it immediately. The problem was resolved in a half hour. The entire process was handled with friendly professionalism, genuine concern and extreme efficiency. They didn’t tell me how wonderful they were, they showed me.(I am now back home and getting bills for thousands of dollars for lab work that was never done, doctors that never attended, etc. )

I went in for severe abdominal pain and was miserable. They made my hospital experience as comfortable as it could be. Everyone was so kind. I was in so much pain and I was so scared and because of Covid my husband couldn’t come back with me so I was devastated. But everyone was so helpful and made me feel better about the situation. I would recommend!

This is probably the first “review” I’ve ever left on the internet, but I felt absolutely compelled to do so. If only to warn one person. This place is horrible! I mean horrific! Even now I tear up. I have Crohn’s disease, a serious and painful GI autoimmune disease. This new hospital is less than 10 minutes from my home. I’ve been here twice, the first time was so bad. But Christmas Eve I became severely constipated and in pain, so I decided to give it a second chance in hopes of getting there fast, and getting help fast. But all I can say is both times I’ve been there, the attending physician is a QUACK! Usually an entitled wacko who is extremely judgmental and won’t listen to your needs, and if you’re a female instead of listening to your actually ailments that of course assume you’re pregnant. They do not listen to your needs here. The nurses were equally as rude, uncaring, and when I was crying and in pain, waiting for meds, I heard my specific nurse taking personal phone calls and ordering food. Every time I pressed the call button the person who answered was rude or clueless. It was just the most disturbing place. When I asked for a cup of water you would think I had asked for a cup of gold. They get a lot of drug addicts and detoxing people, so be ready to listen to other patients crying and screaming. Which means you will be ignored for hours at a time. They never ever come in to check on you. Long story short, I know health care is exhausted right now cause of COVID, but this place was out of supplies, barley checked on me, discharged me while I was vomiting ever 5 minutes and still has high blood pressure, without a second thought, like every thing was dandy and normaI! I went home but 3 hours later ended up going to Banner Gateway who actually took care of me. It’s no wonder when you drive by this place the parking lot is empty. Please avoid it, especially if you are in urgent pain or needs.

My mom is currently in this facility with horrible COVID, stomach and respiratory issues right now ! Long story short my mom is living Janelle Gitz (sorry if miss spelled) experience right now and I don’t know what to do ! She doesn’t want me to call them or go there because she’s scared they could get meaner !!! Unbelievable . Only thing I can say is she seems to be getting better and that’s all that really matters.

I had fallen and needed to have my knee looked at due to the pain. Ambulance took me there, was seen right away, given my own room with TV, and was in and out with xrays after a total of 2 1/2 hours - there was a more severe patient there which is why I dont mind the wait. Only issue was that I had to ask how long to wear the knee brace for and that the didnt have one that fit very well in stock. But I would definitely go back there again. Very nice people work there.

About as rude of a staff I’ve ever seen , my wife’s was is pain and the nurse told her to shut up and said “Do you understand me” like she was going to do something to her if she didn’t comply , very rude and talked about inappropriate things very loudly

The doctors there are terrific and nice!..but the nurse Ashley is rude and the house keeper supervisor is rude as well!

My aunt was brought into the ED where the facility was clean, private rooms, competent staff and good communication. We have returned for other issues twice more since. Food was the only complaint by my aunt

Seriously the worst place ever. I went over a year ago and I have been getting charged since after. They say they carry your insurance and then dont take you insurance or anything. The service was bad and I was charged close to 2000 dollars within the last 365 days. It isnt worth your time, health, or money. Go to Mercy Gilbert or Banner. They didnt do much service and charge you insanely. Really a scam hospital better off not going and drinking water for the cure.

I called the hospital to find out what was happening with my niece in the ER at 3am. The ER tech that answered the phone , was rude, belligerent, and talked over me-what a BULLY. I spoke calmly, asking how I might help because I’m 2,500 miles away. She was not even listening to my request and just kept saying the same things over and over. No one like this should EVER be employed at a hospital, where people are their most vulnerable. It was unacceptable and creepy. Don’t go to this ER.

My mother was ay this emergency room and couldnt get a cab and didnt know how to get an Uber app on her phone for a ride. The employees were told not to handle patents phones and couldnt help her with it. But one of the nurses got her an Uber on her phone and my mother found out that she paid for it for her. I have nothing but raves about this hospital.

PLEASE READ!!! Do not come here!!! I came in about 3 weeks ago with a severely hurt stomach. Long story short, I had two ivs in and one of the nurses decides to put anti nausea medication in my right upper arm muscle. A QUARTER SIZED AREA ON MY ARM IS COMPLETELY NUMB NOW WHERE THE NURSE INJECTED ME. IT IS SEVERLY NUMB AND ISNT GOING AWAY!!!! IM CONCERNED AND CALLED THE HOSPITAL TWICE AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD GO AWAY IN A COUPLE DAYS AND ITS BEEN WEEKS. THIS HOSPITAL BOTCHED MY ARM!!!!! THE NURSES THERE ARE RUDE AND UNEDUCATED AND DONT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!!

I would like to give a huge shout out to the Abrazo Mesa team! They all went above and beyond in taking care of my Grandma! Michelle, Marie, Dr Aaron Johnson, NP Nicole Jackie, Yvonne, Kenny, Fransisco, Qindeel, and Mike! They explained everything in full detail to where it was understandable to what was happening and what the next steps are. They would check up on her frequently and made her feel like she was priority! They are a new facility and went above and beyond! I recommend them to any and everyone! Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for being compassionate and caring for each and everyone of your patients.

I couldn’t be happier with my Dad’s care at Abrazo Mesa location. He came to the hospital with pneumonia after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis so we were unsure of the outcome. Everyone from the doctors, nursing staff, respiratory therapist, and the caseworker where empathetic, patient and knowledgeable. We saw the same staff throughout our stay. We received expert care. They also helped greatly with the after care. Helping us determine the best path forward. I can’t thank the staff enough.

The team at Abrazo Mesa were top notch. After rushing my friend to the hospital due to severe flu symptoms, they made a scary situation better for both of us. Staff focused first on the comfort of my friend before worrying about copays and billing info. They explained each test and treatment to make sure my friend understood what was going on and were on hand to answer any questions. Well done Abrazo Mesa, well done! I am happy to have such a gorgeous and caring hospital in my backyard should I ever need them.

Best experience I have ever had at an ER. My daughter got a concussion and tested post for the flu all in the same week. I took her there both times and received the best bedside manner imaginable. Highly recommended

My doctors office called 911 and the guy for the ambulance company asked me which hospital Id like to go too and I thumbs down Banner, he mentioned Abrazo and that I would get seen a lot faster there than Banner. He was right! I was treated with so much care and concern and Dr. Weever did everything in her power to find the cause of my nausea! I needed surgery and I had such positive care. Should I never and God forbid I have to return, I will go back to Abrazo! Thank You to all the staff for truly showing how you care about your patients!

I needed a hospital to take my dad to who was short of breath with dementia. The EMTs and firefighters who arrived highly recommended to come to this hospital. He received excellent one on one care, expert respiratory specialists, quick turnaround on bloodwork, highly skilled and compassionate nurses and doctors for his 4 day stay. The doctors took their time explaining things to me and I couldn’t of chosen a better place to take my dad for what turned into such a critical case of pneumonia.

All staff was great , facility was clean and I was really taken take of.

I was able to check in online very nice and courteus. Dr listened to my complaints. Ordered the proper tests to see what the results were. Ordered something to control my excrutiating pain.

I came in with really bad abdominal pain. They did a ct scan and ran my blood panel only to dismiss me as having reflux. I had struggled with continuous pain that same day and a couple of days after that until I went to another facility who diagnosed me correctly and found that I required an emergency gallbladder removal due to an infection in my gallbladder. I will never go back here again.

Absolutely horrible!!!I regret not fighting the ambulance to not take my mom to Banner Gateway. Im sure the ambulance must get a kick back for taking patients there because it was not good and I understand why they were so empty. Would NEVER recommend this place!!! Go to Gatewat trust me!!!

My doctor said to never go to a stand alone emergency room.This emergency room has the poorest of standards.Then they transferred me to their Central hospital location.Now, I will tell you that the place was discustsing. My room was not clean. I could never get updates on my condition . From doctors or their mediocre nurses.I swear I will not never go there againI then received excellent care at Banner Gateway. And fir now on no paramedic will convince me to go to any part of Abrazo

Doctor Teich is the 2 nd best doctor in this world and thats only because the Lord our savior is the First he is definitely an angel sent from God thank you doctor for making me feel better! I went to 3 different hospitals and not one of the doctors had the intelligence like Doc Teich at Abrazo to get me better! Also, Artiffanny, Sonya and Sequoia were awesome yall keep up the good work we need more kind nurses like yall in these hospitals. Thank yall so much! I bless yall in Jesus name!

Went in with bad bad stomach pain was informed I have a ventral conditional hernia and need surgery and the surgeon refused to do the surgery cause my insurance is from another state yet when I told them my insurance would cover any kind of emergency they said go back to Nevada

The best ER I have ever seen. All the staff are caring and loving and they all collaborate to make that painful moment more bearable. I have never seen nurses and doctors working together with such passion to save lives. Super clean hospital, Comfortable and spacious rooms and the bathroom without any complaints. I dont want to get sick again but if it happens Ill surely go with you and recommend this place to family and friends
